Dijon aims to become the first hydrogen city in France producing and consuming hydrogen locally toachieve zero emissions.

• By 2030: 200 vehicles – public transport network + garbage trucks + service vehicles will be poweredby hydrogen Target: save 1,750 tonnes of CO2 per year.

• Green and local production: hydrogen is produced from the combustion of household waste by thewaste-to-energy unit and from a 12-hectare photovoltaic farm (under construction).

• Full transfer of hydrogen technology (vehicles and systems) to ensure a sound technicalunderstanding

• Two phases:1. Northern Dijon : 4 distribution stations to power zero-emission vehicles across the community2. Southern Dijon: 175 distribution stations to power zero-emission buses across the community and insurrounding areas
