New Supported Devices

74996 -- Alpha AMPS24 UPS

The AMPS24 is a typical UPS system comprised of inverter modules, a battery, and rectifier modules. This system is monitored using SNMP polling. The application collects measurements on a regular poll cycle (default 60 seconds). The application also listens for trap notifications from the AMPS24 and reports alarms accordingly. Furthermore, the application will perform SNMP polls to determine alarm status at start-up, at a user's request (using "sync" control-action), and on a configurable regular cycle (default 24 hours).

Version 2.91 enhances Eltek Smartpack monitoring to support and process traps received from SNMP host entries added in the Eltek Web User Interface instead of polling alarms.

76304 -- Shared Discrete Description Configuration

Version 2.91 adds a new optional parameter, “discreteDescription,” providing a way to describe a shared discrete input which generates multiple alarms and/or measurements. This can be used to describe, for example, a shared discrete input providing alarms, measurements and/or messages including powerDistribution, mainsPowerDetection, and generatorRunning.

If the discreteDescription parameter is filled in, it will be applied to the discrete. If multiple NEs share a discrete, only one should fill in that value. It will exist until all NEs sharing the discrete are deconfigured.

All SPX Flash Technology tower light type names have been updated in Version 2.91 for consistency and clarity:

The words “TowerLight” have been removed from each type.

Flash Vanguard types are now called SPXVanguard.

Flash LED tower light types are now called SPX36305.
