CMS based Multi-Lingual Recruitment Portal Algoworks helped its client to architect and develop a web portal that would connect Job seekers and employers and allow them to collaborate. CUSTOMER Client is one of the leading recruitment agencies, offering a range of recruitment services to leading global firms, SME's, government bodies and institutions. Client also provides tailored recruitment, including temporary and contract staff, outsourcing, permanent recruitment, interim management and executive search. BUSINESS SITUATION Client vision was to build a web portal for UK and Russian market that would allow employers to post jobs and allow candidates searching for a job to apply for it. The application was required to have following features:- Multi-lingual support for both English and Russian languages E-commerce facility for processing payments Easy to use CMS for updating various texts and content of site Support role based users including Employers, Candidates and administrators Facility for candidates to upload resumes Candidate search functionality for Employers Easy search and collaboration between Employers and Candidates SOLUTION Algoworks proposed a scalable Kentico CMS based Microsoft Technology solution with SQL server at the backend to support all the required functionality and fast development with easy maintenance for future. Central of the application is Kentico, content management system. Using Kentico provided necessary content, language, role and user management features out of the box with some customization needs. We customized Kentico to support various other features as desired by the customer. Search feature was developed using SQL server’s inherent Full Text Search capabilities.
