Power to ChangeProphetic Word: Brother Burt AsbillAugust 20th, 2006 Mahomet, Illinois

Surely the cry that is within thee, surely it is the cry that cometh from My ownsoul for thee, saith the Lord. But I say unto thee, can I change thee, if thou wiltresist that which I bring into your life? Can I mold and make thee if thou resistthe hand that is put heavy upon thee? Surely, even as My disciples, they cameunto Me and they desired a position, they desired a place, and I said unto them,“Canst thou not drink of My cup?” Surely I say unto thee, canst thou drink ofthat cup? If thou wouldst be changed, if thou wantest the renovation of thatwhich is old, can it remain for that which is new? I say unto thee, that which is,must become as if it were not - that that which is not might become as thatwhich is. I say unto thee, surely, I work within the deep confines of the soul. I amnot interested in changing that which is upon the surface. I am not interested inmaking and putting on a show or a front that looks good, but I am interested inchanging the substance of thy heart. I am interested, saith the Lord, in goingdown into the very depths of thy being and can I do that without fire? Can I dothat without tribulation? I say unto thee, it is through much tribulation, and it isthrough much trouble. Surely thou professeth with thy mouth that thou wantsto be changed, but in thy heart thou resisteth the change that cometh unto theeto renovate and to make anew. I say unto thee, resist not the Holy Ghost. Resistnot the moving of God within thy personal being. In that place of privacy wherethou knowest thy place of rebellion and resistance, I say unto thee, it is in thatplace that thou must submit. It is in that place that thou must die. For I say untothee, unless a corn of wheat falleth in the ground and die, it abideth alone (John12:24). It cannot produce. It cannot bring forth the relevance of Me, saith theLord. For surely death is required in order that resurrection might be mani-fested. Thou criest for resurrection, but thou resisteth the death, and I say untothee, can thou have resurrection without death? Surely thou knowest that it isnot possible. It is not possible, saith the LORD. Look thou even at the life of MySon, and the example that He set in the giving of Himself, and the laying down ofHis own personality. Even in that time of sweet victory, the words that cameforth out of His mouth were, “Not My will but Thine be done.” Hallelujah! Shallit not be with thee, also? Can I not hold thee up to this standard? Can I notexpect of thee that which I demanded of Him? I say unto thee, it cannot be, andI say unto thee, that thou must be conformed to His image. For surely this is thetime of tribulation and trouble. Look thou around thee, for I say unto thee, it isvery hard for thee, if thou kickest against the pricks. For surely I would conformthee unto that image that thou hast required of Me, but first thou must die, thatthou might be resurrected. Surely it is the grave that thou must overcome. I sayunto thee, that this is the hour of victory, but it is also the hour of death anddesolation. Look thou unto Me, saith the LORD. Grasp hold of the hem of Mygarment, for out of Me shall come virtue unto thee that thou might be changed.ÿ

I will always ask for confirmation for the words that Ibring, because some of the words that the Lord gives mearen’t very pleasant words. They are not pleasant for meto hear or to speak, nor pleasant for you to hear, but I be-lieve that they are from God and that we are living in aserious time. I didn’t say critical, I said serious. It is evenmore critical that we hear the Word of God than it was thelast time that we were here meeting and talking about thethings of the Lord. The escalation of the things in the world, and especially in the Mid-East, just keeps getting worse. They are now threatening more to promote and escalatetheir carnage and murder to other parts of the world. Ibelieve that it will not be too long before you will be see-ing the same destruction that is going on in Lebanon andIsrael striking not only the European countries, but alsothe United States. It was prophesied many, many yearsago that this type of destruction was coming to the UnitedStates. I can remember, as a young man, hearing this Word, and all the prophecies. Brother C. L. Moore was one whowas prophesying in my time of the destruction that wascoming in this time. Before I got in on the tail end of someof the other ministries, Brother Allen had his vision of thecollapsing of the economy and of the destruction of theUnited States. Before him, I think Brother Sunday proph-esied many things concerning the United States, and I havehad the privilege of growing up during that time frame andseeing those things that were prophesied come to pass. Isay privilege, because I believe that though we live in per-ilous times, we are privileged to be living in the time offullness. We are coming to the end of an age, if we haven’talready come to it. There is a thought and a word that isbeing spoken that September 11th wasn’t just a major con-frontation or attack, but it was also the unleashing of thefour spirits that were bound in the River Euphrates (Rev-elation 9:14-15). We are a privileged people to be privy tothe onset of these circumstances that are happening. I thinkthat it is very important for us as people of God, as chil-dren of God, those of us here that aspire to be sons, toknow the reality of the thing that is upon us. It shouldheighten our awareness to the fact of the time frame that

we are living in and the responsibility that is upon us, aswell as the opportunity that we are being offered.

Now, Noah had a burden. I have been thinking a lotabout Noah the last several weeks, wondering what kindof a man he was. Have you ever read the Bible and wantedto be in that position or that place? Lord, help me that myresponse to Noah is different than his neighbor’s responsewas! Many of us, including myself, are probably findingourselves with the same perspective that Noah’s neigh-bors had of what Noah was doing. There was a Word thatthis man had that overshadowed his whole existence. Idon’t know what the extent of Noah’s relationship was withGod, but I can certainly surmise from the scriptures that itpleased the Lord for the Bible says that his ways pleasedthe Lord. Certainly then he was a man that had faith, forwithout faith it is impossible to please the Lord. That meansthat he believed God.

When you go out on missionary journeys, and you gowith seasoned veterans that have been in the ministry foryears and years and years, they begin to tell you these sto-ries. It is like you sit around the campfire, and they beginto discuss the things that have happened to them. There isstrength and a vitality that comes out of that interaction. There is a need for us to be cognizant of the voice of God.Not just to have a theological position of hearing, or havefellowship with a certain body of people that preach a cer-tain thing that we, in some way or some manner, auto-matically believe. We have to be cognizant of the voice ofGod that is ever present in the midst of us, that is wooingus, or drawing us, sometimes almost in a lamenting way, expressing His desire for us to be in a certain place at acertain time. I can’t imagine the frustration that some ofthe old prophets must have experienced. I was readingabout Ezekiel. He was commissioned, and was given aWord from God concerning the destruction of Israel. Now,it was a funny thing that half of the house of Israel wasalready in a place of captivity. Destruction had alreadycome to the house. It wasn’t just to that house that he wasbringing that word. It was the house of Israel that wasgoing to rise up out of the grave with the resurrection of

How much more couldwe be on fire for doingthose things that are

pertinent to ushering inthe Kingdom of God?

Jesus Christ. It was the Blood of the Son of God that wasshed abroad that was going to quicken humanity for a par-ticular reason, for a particular purpose. Satan took thetruth of that reason, of that purpose, and he hid it, as itwere, under a lot, and he made it to be something otherthan it really was. He made us believe that we could besaved so that we might go to Heaven, when Heaven is some-thing that God wants to bring down out of that realm of theethereal into the natural realm of our circumstances. Thechurch has been robbed, and it is still being robbed today, and the people of God are blinded because of one thing oranother, and it becomes something other than just the Bloodof Jesus Christ and getting into Heaven. There is a majorconfrontation that is coming. The Bible is full of a majorconflagration of things coming to a point. The Bible saysthat it is going to be a time of tribulation such as has neverbeen before.

You know, many of us are tryingto say that that time of tribulation isway off out there somewhere. I don’tbelieve that it is off out there some-where. I believe that it is knockingat our doorstep, and that it is goingto barge in whether we want it to ornot. Sometimes I think that we aremore like the ostrich than the eagle. We think that because things werewhat they were yesterday, and theydon’t seem so very, very terrible to-day, that maybe they won’t be so badtomorrow. I personally am coming to the conclusion whereI can ask, “Is there going to be a tomorrow?” For the factof God and eternity, there is something in my thinking thatis changing. Now, if that makes me strange, weird, fanati-cal, or obsessed, so be it, but there is something of a fa-naticism that was inherent in the people of God in the his-torical, biographical accounts that we have concerning theirlives. God gave them a position and a place of responsi-bility, and there were things that were required of them.Hallelujah! We are living in a very wonderful yet veryprecarious time frame. A very crucial aspect of our lifeexperience can weigh or hinge upon one decision. ONEDECISION! You may look back over some of the eventsthat have happened, national disasters, and people madeone decision. How many times have you been involved ina situation and you made one decision that was irrevers-ible, irretrievable, and there was disaster and destructionthat came out of it? We are living in that type of timeframe, I believe, based on the things that God is showingme in the Spirit and by the Spirit.

I cannot even imagine the caliber of men that God hadin the Old Testament. They did not have the Blood ofJesus, and yet there was a knowledge, an experience, a

relationship that was developed in the aspect of their posi-tion and their thought with regard to God. We are talkingabout the man called Abraham. We are talking about theman called Noah. I can’t even imagine! What was it? Itmust have been something to me like the Blood of Jesus, and accepting Him as my personal Savior, that kind of visi-tation that must have come to the man (Noah) in a placewhere hedonism was the order of the day. There was nopreacher. Noah was not a preacher, and yet God, someway, some how, created a desire in him to do anything andeverything that he possibly could to achieve that electionor the desire that he sensed within the heart of this thingthat was called God. How much more could we be on firefor doing those things that are pertinent to ushering in theKingdom of God? Do you think building mega-churchesand conglomerations of congregations, and all of the pro-grams that they have (not that they are not good and not

doing things that are necessary) ac-complishes a position or a place ofachievement that satisfies God?What if it is not in accordance ordoing the thing that needs to be done? Will you be able to stand in the midstof hell and still be a testimony of thepower of God to save and to redeemto the uttermost?

I ministered some time back outof James 4, and I ministered out ofthat chapter because of a particulardream that I had. I had been medi-

tating on that dream because it bothered me. It botheredme to think that there is such a position or such a placethat I personally could be in, that the Word of God couldcall me an adulterer, or, what are some of the words thathe uses? James 4:4, Ye adulterers and adulteresses, knowye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God?whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is theenemy of God. Come on! I did not write the scripture. Idid not write the concordance that interprets the word thatthe scripture uses. I suggest that you take your concor-dance and look up the word enmity. Do you know what itmeans? “Malicious intent.” That is what it means. Friend-ship with the world generates an environment of maliciousintent (against God). As I was meditating upon that dream, the Lord spoke a Word to me. He said, “There is treasonin the Body.” I said, “Lord, You can’t be serious. I mustnot have heard what You said.” And He said, “Yes, youheard what I said. There is treason in the Body.” And Hegave me a natural illustration where you have a countrythat is at war with another country. Any type of collabora-tion with the country that you are at war with, whether itbe knowingly or unknowingly, is considered treason. Didyou know that in the time of war, if you are on guard duty,

whether here or abroad, whether on the front line or backline of of the fighting, if you are found sleeping on guardduty, you are considered treasonous? They will court mar-tial you or take you to a tribunal, and do you know that youcan be shot for that act of slovenly disposition?

The scripture above is not just describing the act ofone sleeping, but it is also describing one that is activelyparticipating or moving toward a certain objective that isnot consistent with the objective that is in Christ. Now, Isuppose that if we are living in the time of fullness, thenthat means that all things are becoming full. Isn’t thatright? If we are living in the time of fullness, then ALLTHINGS are working to become full. Romans 8:19 says,For the earnest expectation of the creaturewaiteth for the manifestation of the sonsof God. The time that we are in is workingto bring forth the position of fullness. It wasthis thought of fullness and that the sons ofGod were maturing, but also that that wasn’tthe only nature that was working to come toa position of fullness that came to my atten-tion. I ministered some time back on thediversities of the natures that are availableto us. You are born with the nature of Adam, under the dominion of Satan, then when youare born-again you enter into a different en-vironment with a different nature (Christ). In Romans it says that those two natures arein opposition to each other. Now, isn’t itstrange? In Romans 8:5-7, where it beginsto deal with the two natures, it uses the sameword found in James 4:4, the word enmity, and it has thesame meaning. G2189 - echthra (ekh’-thrah): Feminineof G2190; hostility; by implication a reason for opposi-tion: enmity, hatred.

It says the carnal mind is enmity against God (Ro-mans 8:7). The mind of man, the mind that I was bornwith in the natural arena is not compatible; it is not able toharmonize with the mind of God. Not only is it not able toharmonize, but it cannot harmonize. Do you know what itmeans by cannot? It means my redeemed natural mindwill not find any place of compatibility with the naturethat I was born again with. When you receive the Blood ofJesus Christ, your old nature finds itself at odds with thenature that comes with being born again. Hallelujah! Yetwe seem to think that those two natures will live in thesame vicinity with each other and somehow find a harmo-nious working relationship. I don’t know how it is that thechurch has escaped the thought that is reiterated many timesin the scriptures. Matthew was very plain in renumeratingwhat it was that Jesus said about those two natures. Mat-thew 6:24, No man can serve two masters: But we don’tbelieve it. We do not believe it. We believe that we can

have one foot over here (world) and one foot over here(Heaven), and be okay. The only thing that it is going toget you is a split personality!

My mother used to say, “He who sits on a rail fencegets stickers in the end.” Matthew says you cannot, can-not, serve two masters. How is it that we have developeda conscious harmony with the thought that we can? Howis it that we have come to the conclusion that we can workout some sort of relationship with God and yet remain in aplace that is okay as far as the world is concerned? How isit that we have developed a doctrine that substantiates thatposition? Because there is a nature that you were bornwith that doesn’t want to die! There is a nature that you

were born with that doesn’t want to submit. There is a nature that you were born with thatwants its position or its place of pre-emi-nence. It wants that position and that placeof excellence. It wants the right to live, andyou and I have to continually confront andbattle with that nature. Hallelujah! But theWord that God gives us in respect to this po-sition of conflict is found in I John 4:4, Yeare of God, little children, and have over-come them: because greater is he that is inyou, than he that is in the world. Hallelu-jah! I want to be in that place spiritually thatI can fellowship with the cloud of witnesses.I understand that they made that fellowshipquite easy at the children’s camp, and quitevisible. I wish that it were just that easy todo. I would like to talk to some of these men.

Imagine a man in a land of captivity, and God comes tohim, and says to him, “I’m giving you a Word to give tothis particular house.” And He says, “This house is a hard-hearted, stiff-necked, and a rebellious people” (Ezekiel3:7,9). What kind of man was that? Yet the man went anddid what he was asked to do.

It is like somebody coming out here and telling me, “Iwant you to build me a four-story building.” I have nomoney, no concrete, and no help. Yet, the expectation isfor me to build that four-story building. I have no handtools or expertise. Can you imagine Noah? I don’t thinkhe was a ship builder by trade! “Okay, Noah! I want youto build Me a boat.” “A who? What is a boat?” “Well, itis something that will float on water.” “Water? Thereisn’t any water deep enough or big enough for the size ofthe thing that You want me to build.” Come on! God said,“BUILD ME THE BOAT.” Oh my. Can you imagine thediscussion that evening around the dinner table? “Oh, guesswhat, wife? Guess what, sons? We are going to build aboat.” “A what?” “We are going to build a boat.” “Whatis a boat, Dad?” “I don’t know, but we are going to buildit.” I can kind of hear some of the conversation going!

A WA WA WA WA WHOHOHOHOHO? W? W? W? W? WHAHAHAHAHATTTTT ISISISISIS AAAAA B B B B BOOOOOAAAAATTTTT?????

“Wait a minute, Noah. Who is going to take care of myhouse? How am I going to find time in the midst of doingall of my responsibilities?” “What is it that you want meto do?” “How about the signs from God?” “I’ve got thisimportant engagement.” “Well, I’m sorry, son, cancel yourappointment for the next 100 years.” “What? You can’tbe serious?” “Oh yes. I’m just as serious as I can be. Godcame to me and He told me that we were building a boat!”I could just see them looking at each other! “Dad has fi-nally gone off the deep end.” No pun intended. “Dad hasfinally flipped his cookies.” Hallelujah! Yet we knowthat the man was determined. God is always putting usinto a certain set of circumstances, certain situations thatare always totally impossible; the very first thing that westart doing is to start making excuses as to why it cannotbe done. We start checking things out. “Oh, maybe I coulddo this over here.” We don’t really like that place that weare in. We don’t really like the thing that we are doing. Itis really not doing what it needs to do as far as we areconcerned. Or it is not befitting for us to be in that posi-tion. So we start thinking, “How do we get out of thisthing?” And we think that the thing that we are doing, nobody knows, and yet God knows. And you know what?God is talking to somebody else about what you are doing, because Heloves you.

Thingsare comingto a place offullness, thetime of full-ness for thesons of God,and we can rejoice and be glad because things are comingto their fullness and the Lord is returning. But there is aplace, a scenario, a situation that is developing in the actof His coming. There is a confrontation coming such asthe world has never known. Have you any understanding?I wonder what they are thinking about in Tel Aviv. Youknow, it was still a little ways off from them. What do youthink would be the reaction? What do you think wouldhappen if they sent one of those missiles into Tel Aviv? What do you think it would be? I’ll tell you what I think itwould be. It would be the difference between a minor cutor bruise and a major infection. I think it would be thestraw that breaks the camel’s back. I think it would infuri-ate and incite an all-out massive scale war, not only inLebanon, but I believe also in Syria, because they are notignorant of what is going on. Now what do you think it isgoing to do for you? My goodness, just look at your gaspump. It is amazing. They jack the price up to $2.90 andthen they drop it down to $2.25. And then they send itback up again, and then they drop it down a little lower.

And we think, “Oh, it is going back down again.” Whatthey are doing is conditioning you. They are just condi-tioning you! They are getting you ready for the next step. When you think $2.80 is cheap, you become comfortablein your place of persecution. You become comfortable, not understanding that the spirits of anti-Christ are mov-ing things out there and bringing things to a point, an esca-lation of what the Bible calls Armageddon. Are you readyfor Armageddon? Is the thing that you have in the naturalarena going to provide you with a position of peace andsecurity? Are you going to have safety when the atomicbombs go off in different places around the world? Maybesome of the major U.S. cities.

Brother C. L. Moore prophesied more than 35-40 yearsago. He said, “Missiles from Cuba, red on the West Coast.”I think it is Brother Gruver that talks about the invasionthat is coming. And we sit back in our own little environ-ment thinking that all of our trouble, all of these tribula-tions that are going on are some how, in some miraculousway, going to pass right over us and not touch us. FromGod’s perspective it is not the spirit out there that is resist-ing the Word of God, but in His mind you are the agent ofresistance. YOU ARE THE AGENT OF RESISTANCE!You are the focal point of His operations, that you will rise

up in someway in thespirit of Godto performthe works ofGod in themidst of de-struction. Ir e m e m b e r

many, many years ago, John Jackson prophesying andpreaching off of visions that he was getting for a period oftime. Hallelujah! And instead of blessing the Body ofChrist, it created some catastrophic organization, and theyfed off of him to fatten their own pockets and fill theirpews. It did NOTHING to prepare the hearts of the people. Most people don’t even know who he is, or the things thathe prophesied.

What does the scripture say about the fathers and thesigns of the fathers? Well, the New Testament talks about“eating, drinking, and giving in marriage” (Matthew 24:38).What was Belshazzar doing the night of the collapse of histotal empire? It doesn’t say that he was taken into captiv-ity. The Scripture says that he was killed. Yet, out of themidst of destruction, one man got by. Daniel was a manafter God’s heart. Hallelujah! Can you imagine what itmust have been like to be in the presence of Daniel? Doyou think he would have been pleased with my behavior?Do you think that my hard head, slow understanding, andmy propensity to move against the will of the Spirit as he

was tutoring me and lecturing me and teaching me aboutthe things of the Kingdom would have pleased Daniel? How much more would it please God? We have nothingin which we can boast of with regard to the job that Godhas given us. Do you know that this church building ex-ists on the basis of a Word that is for the end of time? Doyou understand that? It came into being on the basis ofthat particular Word. God spoke it. God spoke it! Therewas nothing here. Nothing. A bunch of weeds and dirtthat nobody wanted. How many times has somebody toldme, “Oh, that dirt, it is not worth anything.” “Pasture, maybe. Grow cows.” I said, “I don’t want to grow cows,I want to grow sheep.” And yet God spoke it. Hallelujah!I’m trying to get to a thought. I do know that we are livingin the time of the fullness. All things, all things, ALLTHINGS are coming to their fullness. The sons of God arecoming to a place of fullness, as is the spirit of the sons ofperdition.

You know, with the passing of every generation thereis a spiritual heritage that is bequeathed, whether good orevil. There were many in my fam-ily who had dreams that my fatherwas going to pass before he actuallydied. In the dreams, he was comingand knocking on the different doorsof my family members. I know whatit would say. It would say all of thefamiliar things that were pertinentto my father’s existence, those familiar spirits that havehad control over his life were now looking for another placeto inhabit. All those things that he was involved in, thosethings that were against God, those things were coming tovisit. I went down on my face before God in prayer, and Isaid, “It shall not be so! It shall not be so! I have a rightand I have a covenant with the living God that those spiritshave no position, no place, no harmony, no right!” Mychildren and my grandchildren were not called to fulfillthe will of hell; they were called to fulfill the will of God.They were called for a time, they were called for a posi-tion, to be raised up out of the midst of their graves. Hal-lelujah! That objective is to stop and to contend with theforces of hell, not to be conformed to the image and like-ness of perdition. Hallelujah! How much contending arewe doing? Or how much are we collaborating? I toldsomebody recently, “You know, for everything that oneperson does, for every decision that one person makes, somebody else is going to pay for it if it is the wrong deci-

sion.” I cannot do anything to this body and expectthat the rest of my body does not feel it no matterhow small or minute. I’ve got this little sliver righthere in my hand, this little stick right here, and itdoesn’t look like much, but my goodness! It bothersmy whole body. I said, “How can something so small

and so insignificant cause me so many problems?” Godanswered, “Because it is a piece that is a part of the whole. What one part feels, the whole bears the iniquity of thepart.” My God! Do you know that Jesus took your infir-mities upon Himself? Your infirmities, He took them uponHimself. What does that mean? Well, if you go into theBible, and you look at it and examine the words, it meansthat it is just like Him taking off your coat and putting itupon His shoulders.

Jesus met the man with the son who had schizophre-nia - I don’t know what else to call it - the lunatic whowould cast himself down into the fire and start foaming atthe mouth. And when He ministered to the lunatic, thelunacies that were in the man came upon Him. But Hehad the virtue to overcome, He had the character, He hadto have the utterance of God in Him to such a degree thatHe was able to shake it off. Just shake it off! What didyou think He meant when He said the devil was comingand finds nothing? John 14:30, Hereafter I will not talkmuch with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and

hath nothing in me. He was soldout, do you hear me? He was soldout! HE WAS SOLD OUT! Comeon! SOLD OUT! No hidden aspi-rations, no hidden desire, no hiddenwants or wills. It was just not mywill, but thine, be done (Luke22:42). Do you think it was a mo-

ment, a twinkling of an eye that He came to that place thatgave Him the ability to hang on the cross? To say, “Notmy will, but Thine be done”? He had been doing it allalong, through the whole process of His life. They cameto Him and they said, “Your mother, your father, your broth-ers, your sisters, they are outside.” He said, “These aremy brethren” (Matthew 12:47-49). This man had reachedthe plateau; he had come to the next level of his existence. There is a theology in the church that says, “God first, family second, church third.” How can you put the churchunder family, when the church is supposed to be your fam-ily? Church is supposed to be the thing that is being de-veloped in the family relationship! Hallelujah! I don’tbelieve that we really consider, much less understand, thetotality of the thing that is being required of us.

God said to me that there is treason in the Body. Trea-son. I said, “God, it can’t be so. It can’t be so.” He said,“There is treason in the Body.” I ministered on the twonatures that we can possess. The nature of sin, and the

nature of God. The nature of sin goes by the name of thespirit of perdition. How do you think that Judas was ableto do what he did? What do you think were the mechanicsthat were involved in the process of operation that broughthim to that place of perdition? Do you think it was justsudden inspiration that he was going to betray the Son ofGod? Do you think it was manifesting itself? Do youthink the disciples were ignorant of Judas’ behavior? Thesemen lived together. They traveled around the country to-gether. They heard Christ say, “Have I not chosen twelveof you and one of you is a thief?” (John 6:70). Do youthink that there was a lot of self-examination going on?Or do you think that there was a lot of finger pointing? The problem then and now, is that there is a lot of fingerpointing and no self-examination. The scriptures say thatevery man must examine himself (I Corinthians 11:28).The truth of the matter is thatthey all had the same poten-tial, and they all had the samenature. They were all with-out the Blood, sold in sin, theyall had the nature of anti-Christ. Why do you think Pe-ter could do what he did?Why do you think they all fledin the garden? Every one ofthem fled! Every one ofthem fled! Every one ofthem, even John, not one of them stood by Him! What doyou think is going to happen in the end times? What arethey going to do to the sons of God? And who is going todo it? What nature do you think is working in the mem-bers of the Body of Christ? It is not only the Spirit of Godcoming to a position, a place of pre-eminence, that arecalled sons of God, but also the nature of the spirit of per-dition working, working, working. We are doing all sortsof things that move us into an electoral candidate positionof perdition. But God has His preachers preaching theWord, so we cannot say that we did things ignorantly andwithout knowledge. That is why the man in the weddingfeast that had no wedding garment was without excuse.

There was a confrontation that Jesus had with Judas, continually, throughout his relationship with the man. Youknow, I can see Jesus talking to Judas. “Some of the thingsthat you are doing, they are just not right. It’s just notright. Why are you doing this? You need to stop doingthis, and you need to start paying attention to somethingelse.” I think that the more that Judas sinned, the morelove that God poured out upon him, and the more Hereached out to him in hope that maybe somehow, againstthe knowing, against the knowing… I can’t even imaginehope that works against the knowledge of God - knowing! It’s like you know it, you know that you know it, and yet,

you are hoping that it is not so.I watch my grandchildren as they struggle with paren-

tal authority. I think that my grandchildren have been thebest teachers, with regard to exposing my position of weak-ness with the Father, because I am able to be more ab-stract. Do you understand? I’m not so involved continu-ally, day in, day out, hour after hour. I am able to sit backand I am able to look at it and I see them wrestling, wres-tling, wrestling. I see the natures rising up within them tousurp their position of righteousness. I ponder, “Oh God,this thing, this entity that is moving in the midst of theirflesh, it is anti-Christ. Deliver me, that they might be de-livered. Rescue me, that they might be rescued.” I don’tunderstand it. But there are certain spirits that were ap-portioned to me to overcome. Now, when I say overcome,I mean to destroy them. I mean to utterly destroy them.

There are certain spirits thatare given into my authoritybecause it is destined, it is or-dained of God that I overcomethem. But do you know some-thing? There are some spiritsthat are not my responsibility, for whatever reason. I don’tunderstand the economy ofGod. I know of certain famil-iar spirits that I personallyhave overcome that I have not

destroyed. I have cut them off for myself, but there areother spirits that it was not given to me to do so. It wasgiven to my children. I have a responsibility to pray thatthey have the strength and integrity of God to move underthe auspices of the Holy Ghost, to rise up in the strength ofGod and to smite the devil, to bring down his kingdom. And if they don’t do it, then one of my grandchildren isgoing to do it. Hallelujah! So it is just as important for meto pour God into my grandchildren. Not more of Asbill, but more of God. MORE OF GOD! MORE OF GOD! I willnot encourage that nature that is contrary. Hallelujah! Itis anti-Christ by nature. Hallelujah!

There is a spirit working in the Body, and it is the spiritof betrayal. I think Judas was doing all sorts of things.Maybe taking little pennies at first - dimes and quarters.Maybe he graduated to dollars. And then he went to fivedollars, and then he saw the thirty pieces of silver. Step bystep, inch by inch, moving toward the place of no return. He finally came to the demarcation line, and God said,“To whom I give the sop” (John 13:26). I can’t even imag-ine being at the table with Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christsaying, “One of you is going to betray Me.” And they say,“Who is it, Lord? Who is going to betray Thee?” He says,“Unto whom I giveth the sop.” God help me, if He reachedin there, I would be backing away from that table so fast.

Some of us are at themark of demarcation.

“I don’t want it! Don’t give it tome, I don’t want it!” But you

see, he had reached the line.Everything that could bedone was done. Can you

imagine God coming to a placewhere He is not able to do anything

anymore? He has got to release him.Release him! That thou doest, do quickly (John 13:27),and he took the sop. You know, it is the drinking of thewater (Judges 7:4-7) in a different scenario, on a differentlevel, and yet the same spiritual significance. He took thesop. And when he took it, what happened? He came tofullness. Satan entered into him. He stood there beforeChrist, and nobody else was aware. Nobody else knew athing. Nobody else knew what happened. They thoughthe was taking care of some business that the Master hadsent him on. Just the act, just the doing, just a simple thinglike taking the sop, and we think drinking water is simple?Someone that you love, someone that you cherish, some-one that you think that you have a relationship with takesyour sop, and he took it and he ate it.

We are talking about the situation in Hebrews. He-brews talks about the unpardonable sin. Hebrews 6:4, Forit is impossible for those who were once enlightened, andhave tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partak-ers of the Holy Ghost, 5And have tasted the good word ofGod, and the powers of the world tocome, 6If they shall fall away, to re-new them again unto repentance;seeing they crucify to themselves theSon of God afresh, and put him toan open shame. Jesus said inEphesians 1:17, “I pray,” what? Thatthe God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give untoyou the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledgeof him: 18The eyes of your understanding being enlight-ened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in thesaints. His inheritance, NOT YOURS! We want to takeour position of preeminence, the position that Satan tookin the realm of God, into the realm of Heaven. Well, it isnot allowed. The man was there in the midst of the wed-ding feast, and the wedding steward said, “Friend, friend, where is your wedding garment?” He had nothing to say.In a moment, in a twinkling of an eye… I don’t think itwas vindictive. I don’t think it was a vindictive, “Cast himout into outer darkness!” (Matthew 22:11-13). We are notjust talking about a little inconsequential thing here. Weare talking about something that is very real and vital. Idon’t want to be like Hezekiah, to be so afraid of dyingthat he gives away the kingdom (II Kings 20:1). He gives

it away! Hallelujah! He gives it away just for the sake ofliving.

We sing a song, “If I perish, I perish, for I am going tosee the king.” I would rather perish on that basis than beso afraid of dying, like unto those that are referred to inHebrews, who through the fear of death kept them where? In bondage! (Hebrews 2:15) Oh my goodness, we do somany things on the basis of dying, and wanting to stayalive. “I want just another week!” “God, give me anotherday!” “I want another month!” A month comes and, “God,give me another month.” Another month comes and, “Giveme another year, God.” And all the time, the nature ofanti-Christ is growing, and you are wreaking destructionfor those that will come after you. I don’t want to be likeHezekiah. It was recorded for a reason. It was stated as afact so that you and I might know the frivolousness of liv-ing in a dead state.

Hebrews 6:4, For it is impossible for those who wereonce enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost… It says, “Itis impossible for those who were once enlightened andtasted of the heavenly gift…” What are we talking about? We are talking about life. We are talking about the resur-gence of God in the midst of our flesh, the reviving of ourspirit, as the Holy Ghost comes down and begins to fill ourbeing and we move into the realm of Heaven. Hallelujah! We see visions. We hear prophecy. Hallelujah! We hear

an unction and an anointing comingforth out of the Word of God. We areredeemed spiritually. It is impossiblefor a man who is not born again tosee the Kingdom of God, but if he isborn of the water and the Blood, canyou imagine? (John 3:3,5) Not onlywill he see it, but he can enter therein.Hallelujah! But it is impossible…

Just like you can reach a point in your development of thatnature of sin in man, he has developed to such a point thathe becomes a dog. Hallelujah! 5And have tasted the goodword of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6Ifthey shall fall away, to renew them again unto repen-tance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of Godafresh, and put him to an open shame. “To renew themagain to repentance” means that every thing that has beenmade available has been used up. It is gone. There isnothing else left that will bring conviction and repentance. There is no magic potion. That is why Philippians says,“With fear and trembling work out our salvation”(Philippians 2:12). Work out our salvation with what? Fearand trembling. Hallelujah!

It starts with anything - inconsideration for membersof the Body of Christ. Going contrary! Going contrary!Do you know that this body condemns us? Maybe Sister

Ona can tell us sometime, but if you are injured, and there is a weakness in your body, your body responds to thatweakness. Does it not, either chemically or mechanically? Responds for what purpose? For restoring and refreshingand giving strength to that position of health and vitality. Isn’t that the way that the Body is supposed to work? Yourbody condemns you when you move contrary to the Spirit of God. If what you are doing is not refreshing, refurbishing, and bringing it to a place of health, if you are working contrary, your body condemns you. It is unfortunate. There istoo much of that, and it is all on the basis of self-preservation. Shari, you had a good children’s word. I particularlyliked the pig. I think it was very apropos, because we are talking about two very distinct natures, the pig nature and theSon of God. Isn’t that where the man who had the inheritance found himself, with pigs? At least he had the spiritualwherewithal to come to some consciousness of his condition. He never seemed to like the pig walk. Hallelujah!

There is a particular Word that God is bringing to us as a Church. He has been bringing this Word, not just throughme. I have had some part of it, I suppose, in some degree, but others have brought it for many years. Do you know that? Some of us are at the mark of demarcation. I don’t believe that God would bring a Word like that unless we werecoming to the line of demarcation. There is a position and a place where if we step and make a wrong decision, theconsequences of that decision are irreversible. It will set in motion a series of events that will bring us deeper anddeeper and deeper until we are suddenly confronted with the 30 pieces of silver. May God help us to have an under-standing and a conviction. Might we smite ourselves, and afflict ourselves for the purposes and the benefit of God, thatwe might come to a place of understanding, and if we are found guilty, that we would repent. God bless you.

Recently, whilestudying science inschool, we discov-

ered some absolutely astound-ing things that prove, onceagain, the amazing greatnessof our God! In the midst ofour studying we have foundthat the vastness of this uni-verse is incomprehensible!

To begin with, every thinghaving to do with our universe

is measured by the speedof light which is 186,282miles per second. So, cu-riously we began to do themath and found that this

translates into:11,176,920 miles per minute670,615,200 miles per hour16,094,764,800 miles per day5,874,589,152,000 miles peryear

Now, can you imagine thatlight can travel at the speed ofalmost 6 trillion miles in oneyear? Well, it gets even bet-

ter! Our solar system, which includes the

sun, moon, earth and all the other plan-ets, is just a small part of our galaxy, the Milky Way. Now, rememberinghow fast light travels in one year, oursolar system is actually located 30,000light-years from the center of theMilky Way. Now the sun and its plan-ets are moving at a speed of 150 milesper second in a large orbit around thecenter of the Milky Way. Even at thisspeed it would take 225 million yearsto complete one trip around the MilkyWay because of its enormous size! Wefound out that some galaxies containseveral million stars, and some eventrillions! There are so many galaxiesthat not all of them have names, onlynumbers assigned to them. Also, sci-entists admit that there are probablymany more galaxies that they don’teven know about. Did you know thatthe next nearest galaxy to ours is calledthe Clouds of Magellan? This “neigh-boring” galaxy is 150,000 light-yearsaway. Isn’t that amazing?

While we werestudying all this, we

were reminded ofPsalm 8:1-4,9. OLORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name inall the earth! who hast set thyglory above the heavens. 2Outof the mouth of babes andsucklings hast thou ordainedstrength because of thine en-emies, that thou mightest stillthe enemy and the avenger.3When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast or-dained; 4What is man, that thou art mindful ofhim? and the son of man, thatthou visitest him? 9O LORDour Lord, how excellent is thyname in all the earth! Whenwe consider the greatness ofGod and His vast creation, weseem so small and insignifi-cant, and yet, God pours outHis love upon each one of us.To God be the glory, for great

things He has done!

This is the song that God used to speak to me to sit down and begin to writethis article. As I sing the words, “Draw me after you and let us run together,”I can just feel God’s desire for me to come up higher with Him. I can feel thepull of the Holy Spirit tugging on my heart and I am so glad that He wants meto come after Him. It is this drawing that He uses to cause us to open ourhearts to Him - for no man cometh unto the Father unless He draws him (John6:44).

Not too many years ago, at a conference in Florida, I learned what it waslike to truly open my heart to God. We were singing and as we sang, theanointing of the Holy Spirit came in like a flood. I was standing with mychildren and felt like I should raise my hands unto the Lord. As I had done somany times in the past, I raised my hands unto the Lord. But this time wasdifferent. This time my heart really began to open to the Lord. I could physi-cally feel the joy welling up inside my soul as I began to let Him in. I couldfeel, as it were, metal bars around my heart that began to crack and were priedopen ever so slowly, and I felt such relief and great joy in knowing what mySavior was doing. I was ecstatic! I didn’t want the singing to ever end. Iwanted to stay there, open to the Lord, my hands lifted to Him - my full con-centration upon Him. I felt as if I was a small girl in a field full of flowers, arms outspread to my Maker and head thrown back to the sky as if to gaze inadoration upon Him. He was delivering me and I knew it and never wanted itto stop. The road to perfection seemed so simple and easy at that moment. Ifelt that anything was possible.

This experience has stayed with me over the years. It is tucked away in myheart as a special memory that just me and my heavenly Father can share. From that blessed moment, I learned something of great value. Whenever wegather together in praise and worship as a Body, and when I sing unto the Lordin private, I remember how my heart was opened that night and I am able to

put it into practice. Evenif there doesn’t seem tobe a huge surge ofanointing, even if theothers seem tired or re-luctant, I can still meetwith my Lord in themidst of our gathering.I look for those momentsto meet with my Lord. Ilook for His drawing, with which He lifts meaway from the trials ofthis earth. When myhands want to hangdown, I lift them up tomy Savior - as a littlechild to her mother. Itmay just be that as Ipress to run with my

Lord that I may encourage my breth-ren and my children to press into Himas well.

During a recent Wednesday meet-ing, our small gathering began to sing,“Lord Prepare Me.” It didn’t feel likeanything extremely anointed at thetime, but the words impressed me toreally pay attention and to lift myhands whether the feeling to do it wasthere or not. As I was obedient to liftthem up, the song really began to speakto my heart and I began to sing andpray. The song ended, but I think ourbusy hearts had begun to slow down, pay attention and soften up. When webegan the next song, “Unto You, OhLord, do I open up my heart,” we werefinally ready. I love that! The energyrushes into my soul and I feel like I’min a house that’s been closed upthrough a long winter and I’m open-ing the windows and throwing backthe shutters! My Lord is near! I canfeel Him! I must open to meet withHim. He is calling me to run after Himand I must go! How could I have beenin a dark and low place when He ishere with me at all times? How couldI be discouraged or confused?! As thesong says, it is unto Him that I lift myvoice and He hears my heart’s cry. Hehears my repentance, He wipes away

my sin, He dries the tears of my heart and comforts my weary soul. Oh, how I love Him! He is mine and I am His - mayit always be so!

These are experiences that knit my heart to Him. I know that I am still very reserved outwardly as I worship Himin public and yet all these things are going on in my heart. However, I trust that God is bringing all of us to the placewhere we can dance as David did and we will not despise one another as Michal did.

I can’t imagine living life without my Jesus. I can’t imagine how dark life would be if I gave up. I’ll admit, atcertain difficult times, I have thought about giving up. The cloud of darkness was so thick about me that I could not seethe light to follow it. As Christian in Pilgrim’s Progress, I have felt like I was in the dark cavern where there was nolight, but as he lifted his hands up to the Lord, the light of God shone down upon him and he was strengthened andencouraged. It is this light that I must grasp and keep with me as I walk through those valleys - that I may fear no eviland that my faith does not fail.

My writing is to encourage you to open your hearts and practice keeping them open unto the Lord. Not only that,it is to remind me of my experiences with Him, so that I do not lose those marvelous things He has worked in my heart. As I think about all that I am sharing with you concerning this matter of my heart, I am reminded of a specific situationin my life. It was years ago, when I miscarried a baby at a particularly difficult time for my family and marriage. Thecounsel I was given was, “Don’t get hard.” What? My world was falling apart! Yet I took that counsel to heart. It hastaken continual effort to keep my heart soft before the Lord, but it has not been impossible! Let the Lord draw you afterHim. Keep your heart soft before Him, no matter what trials you face. As He draws you, run together with Him.

Brethren, among the sons of God, we are goingto see the shekinah glory of God. We are going tolive in the shekinah glory of God. We are goingto live in His presence. How many are lookingforward to that? Amen. With the smoke fromthe glory of God - that is not real smoke - thatjust looks like smoke. I mean smoke is pollutionbut this is the presence of the Spirit of God. Theyhad no other way to describe it than that it lookslike smoke. …and from his power - His powerwas filling this place. How many of you want toexperience the power of God? Oh my, oh my, ohmy! But, you see, we have to come to these di-mensions AS A BODY. Not just as an individual. This represents a Body. This represents, shall wesay, a Church. As a corporate being, we come tothis dimension. …and no man was able to enterinto the temple, till the seven plagues of the sevenangels were fulfilled. We see an open door, andthen we see a closed door. SAME THING! Whydid God close the door? Well, perhaps to preventthe unrighteous from coming into this. But it wasalso to protect the sons of God who were in therebecause His wrath was not meant for them. Now,it doesn’t mean that they didn’t endure tribula-tion. But they didn’t endure the wrath of destruc-tion and judgment, the destructive power. Amen.

Well, that is about what I have to share.Maybe you can add to it with questions or what-ever. Anyway, it is what the Lord has been show-ing me. God bless you.

The Sin of AchanPraise God. Let us pray. Father God, we just thank

You for Your presence with us, and for Your desire to hideus, to hide us from the storms, to hide us from ourselves, tohide us from our errors, and still to come be with us. Wefeel unworthy tonight to be in Your presence, but we askYou, my God, to break the bread of Life for us that wemight live, and that others might live whom You have ap-pointed us to share Life with. Many are not receiving theLife that You have appointed us to share with them, be-cause we are not sharing it with them. We ask You, LordGod, to look upon our weaknesses, forgive us our tres-passes, deliver us, Lord God, from evil, Lord God, the evilthat lurks within, the evil that is without, and the evil thatexists in other men. Deliver us, O God. Deliver us fromevil, O God. Abba, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ ourSavior and our Lord. Praise God.

Please be seated, brethren. Praise God. Brethren, wethank God for being here. When I start to preach late, Idon’t have the freedom to go to midnight so I am askingyou to bear with me until I unburden this Word which theLord has put upon my heart.

If you turn with me to the Book of Joshua, I want tobring two points to your minds and to your hearts. If youlook in Joshua 7:1, it says, But the children of Israel com-mitted a trespass in the accursed thing: for Achan, theson of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of thetribe of Judah, took of the accursed thing: and the angerof the LORD was kindled against the children of Israel. That one man took of the accursed thing, and the anger ofGod was kindled against everybody. There must have beensome innocent ones there, but the anger of God was kindledagainst all of Israel, and the question is, “Why?” Whywould God punish all of Israel because one man sinned?

2And Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which isbeside Bethaven, on the east side of Bethel, and spakeunto them, saying, Go up and view the country. And themen went up and viewed Ai. 3And they returned toJoshua, and said unto him, Let not all the people go up;but let about two or three thousand men go up and smiteAi; and make not all the people to labour thither; for

they are but few. 4So there went up thither of the people about three

thousand men: and they fled before the men of Ai. 5Andthe men of Ai smote of them about thirty and six men:for they chased them from before the gate even untoShebarim, and smote them in the going down: whereforethe hearts of the people melted, and became as water.6And Joshua rent his clothes, and fell to the earth uponhis face before the ark of the LORD until the eventide,he and the elders of Israel, and put dust upon their heads.Verse 16, So Joshua rose up early in the morning, andbrought Israel by their tribes; and the tribe of Judah wastaken: 17And he brought the family of Judah; and hetook the family of the Zarhites: and he brought the fam-ily of the Zarhites man by man; and Zabdi was taken:18And he brought his household man by man; and Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, ofthe tribe of Judah, was taken.

Now, God said, “If My people which are called by Myname will humble themselves and pray, I will heal theirland” (II Chronicles 7:14). And you know, I see the breth-ren using that word to say that it means that America mustrepent. They are saying “America, repent!” If Americadoesn’t repent, what is God going to do? God did not sayAmerica must repent. God said that the people of Godmust repent. He said, “My people which are called by Myname.” God is asking you to repent, because the point isthat if we don’t repent, everything is lost. We are the peoplewho God has put to stand between the destruction or be-tween the devil and the world, so that Satan cannot docertain things while we are here, while we are watching, while we are praising, preaching and praying. While weare obeying God, Satan cannot do certain things. But thenthe question is… Let’s turn to Joshua 1 and go back to thefoundation. God cannot renege on His promises. Godsaid in verse 3, Every place that the sole of your foot shalltread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said untoMoses. 4From the wilderness and this Lebanon even untothe great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of theHittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of

the sun, shall be your coast. 5There shall not any man beable to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I waswith Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, norforsake thee. But Israel turned back before Ai. They wereso few people that they didn’t think that they should sendmore than three thousand men to conquer the city of Ai.And the three thousand men fled before the men of Ai.

What about God’s promise? He said that no man wouldbe able to stand before them all the days of their life, andthen they went fleeing down the road. Something waswrong! Something was wrong! What really happened? We are looking at what happened in the natural, and weare going to look at what really happened in the spiritual.

In the natural, God said, “Take no spoil from Jericho. You must not take anything. No silver, no gold, no gar-ment. Nothing. Take nothing from that place.” Now,when one man went there, he had the opportunity of cap-turing some jewelry and garments, and he took them se-cretly and hid them beneath his tent. What happened inthe spiritual? Why did Israel turn back before the enemy?

Okay. God has given us angels to be with us, to guardus, to guide us. I do not believe in accidents. I know ofincidences, but not accidents - things will happen, but thesethings happen for a certain reason. If my guardian angel iswith me - “Thou art with me, Thy rod and Thy staff, theycomfort me” (Psalm 23:4). “Thou shalt not be afraid forthe arrow that flieth by day, nor for the terror at noonday, nor pestilence in the darkness” (Psalm 91:5). You shallnot be afraid! WHY? God has given you dominion overall the things on the earth.

Now, when you do certain things, your guardian an-gel, whom God has set with you to guide you, to guardyou, to guard your children, to be with you, these angelscannot stand sin. You do certain things and they can’t standit. They have to stand back, and what happens? Of course, the devil comes in, and he does his job on you. Now, somepeople say, “God did this to me. God did that to me.”

I was praying a couple of weeks ago and I began totalk to God about some of the things that are happening inthe Body. “Why are so many suffering? How is it thatthings are happening to us? What is the problem? God, isit that You are against us? Are we doing something wrong? Why is it that You are allowing these things to happen?”

God said to me, “Come, let me show you something.”I went into a vision and He showed me a number of Chris-tians, and God gave them a clear command to go, like Hewould say, “Go that way.” But there was some roughnessin the way. Some people considered, “Well, if I go thatway, I will come around here and I will do what God wantsme to do eventually. But I need to go…” and in their ownminds, they began to go their own way. So, God made meto follow them in the ways that they were going. Downthe street of one place that someone was going, there was

a pit. Now, God didn’t throw him into the pit. God didn’tpush him into the pit. God didn’t lead or lure him into thepit. He went on the way that the pit was. Now, God keptfollowing him, whispering to him, “Turn back! Turn back!Repent!” This one kept thinking, “I will make it! I willmake it! I just need to get around that curve, and I’ll makeit right back to…” And he was going further and furtheraway. All of these people were going down into the pit. They cried to God and they struggled and they got out ofthe pit, but they STILL KEPT GOING! I saw that theywent through all kinds of torment and problems, suffer-ings, and yet their little minds couldn’t tell them, “I amsuffering because I am going my own way.” So every timethat they would get into a problem, the Lord would whis-per, “Repent! Repent! You can get out of this! God willdeliver you of it if you just repent!” But they were stillgoing on with the hope that they would make it.

In one particular place I saw, there were needles orlittle knives, sharp little things coming down from the skylike rain. At first I thought it was snow. But when I looked,it was sharp needles coming down from the sky in thatarea and the people were going to that area. They weregoing to pass through it. When it hit them and the peoplebegan to suffer, they started screaming! They ran into dark-ness, into some dark place. Eventually they got throughthere, but they were all beaten and bruised. God said tome, “Now, you see that man? It is time. Tell him now -tell him now to turn back. Tell him now to repent.” Theguy was so bruised and so weak, so beaten, that he just fellon his knees when I whispered to him to repent, and hecalled out to God for mercy! God just showed him a wayright out, where he could escape. Then I looked around, and there were some people who were just resting up tokeep going. They didn’t get the message.

I wonder sometimes, “How dumb are we?” I am notjust talking about you - I am talking about me, too. Howdumb we can be that God would be trying everything toshow us and sometimes we are even saying, “God did thisto me,” and “God did that to me.” NO! God is beggingyou to just turn back! Turn around! Repent! He will takeyou out!

This man, Achan, took the garments. I don’t need toget into the details of how demon spirits function. Butdemon spirits are like dogs that are trained in certain waysand they will follow that garment. They will go - whoevertakes that garment, they become a part of them. So thedevils came in, and when the devils came in, the spirits ofGod that were leading Israel pulled back. Amen. Andthey were beaten at Ai.

You know, in that vision, the Lord spoke a Word. Itshocked me a little, the Word He said. He said, “Some ofthem will go through hell.” Some of the things that arehappening to us in life are like going through hell.

The spirits, therefore, that would have protected Is-rael, that caused Israel to fight and to win and to over-throw everybody else, were the spirits of God who Godsent to lead Israel. These spirits had to pull back becausesomebody in Israel opened the back door, and let the dev-ils in. I do not know if we are fully conscious of howimportant it is to obey God. God said that obedience isbetter than sacrifice (I Samuel 15:22). Obedience is betterthan all the gifts we could give God. Amen. “Oh, God,I’ll work and I’ll pay tithes.” You know? “I’ll support thechurch, Lord, only let me do my thing, Lord.” Obedienceis better than sacrifice, and, of course, he was hearkeningto the fat of the rams. He saw the fat cows, and can youimagine the feast that they would have had in eating thosegood steaks? Strangely enough, things like that lead people.Natural things lead people, and they go after them. Theresult? DEATH AND DESTRUCTION!

I don’t care what it is - there are two types of suffering. You might not even notice them. There is the type of suf-fering where somebody has to suffer because somebodyelse is sinning, and it is the lamb type of suffering. It is thesuffering when you become a lamb for your household, orwhen you become a lamb for somebody who is there dy-ing and God says, “I need a man to suffer, as an example tothis man,” and He chooses you, or you volunteer. Haveyou ever volunteered for suffering? You do it all the while.I have heard you do it. “Oh, God, I want to do Your per-fect will.” “Oh, God, I want to be just like Jesus.” You arevolunteering to be like Jesus, the Lamb, to suffer! Now, Iam not saying that you must not pray and surrender your-self to God, but this is what you are doing. You see? Thisis what God wants! Because there is a certain amount ofsuffering that the people of God must suffer, in order to dothe things that we have to do in this dark hour. In otherwords, God is saying that He wants people to stand in thebreech. He wants people to stand in the breech.

Watch your Bible! You read your Bible and you no-tice that every time Israel was in trouble, God would get aman to stand in the breech. Amen! God said to Moses,“Get aside, Moses, let Me kill all of these people.” Whydid God say that if He didn’t mean to kill them? Godlooked into them and saw that they were not going to doHis will. He said, “I swear in My wrath that they shouldnot enter into My rest” (Exodus 32:9-10, Psalm 95:11).How could God do such a thing? To swear in His wraththat you will not enter in? YOU HAVE GRIEVED HIM!You have done over and over and over again. You get to apoint where God knows that you won’t make it. He saidto Moses, “Move from before Me and let Me kill them all,and I will raise up a people from you to do My will!” Mosessaid, “Oh, God, no! Please don’t. Oh Lord God, havemercy upon them!” (Exodus 32). Moses was actually say-ing, “Kill me! It is better to kill me instead, but save them,

Lord God!” But God knows best! God said, “All right, because you plead with Me like that, I will take forty yearsand kill them all.” Yes. “Instead of you having childrenand I take forty years to grow them up, I will kill them allin forty years.” He didn’t tell him that. Moses was quitesatisfied that God heard his prayer. But when God saidthat He was going to destroy them, He knew that they werenot going to make it.

God said in one Word, “Ephraim is a cake unturned”(Hosea 7:8). It means burned on one side and raw on theother side. One side burned and the other side raw. Nogood! You can’t eat the burned side and you can’t eat theraw side. God spoke again through the prophet Jeremiahto Israel, “When thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do?”(Jeremiah 4:30). There is no science on earth, or ever shallbe, where man would be able to turn back a rotten apple. You can stop it from rotting more by freezing it. But youwill not get that rotted part to be un-rotted, and back to bea fresh new apple. “When thou art spoiled, what wilt thoudo?”

You go on and on and on! Do you know that in thehuman dimension there is a point of spoiling? A point ofspoiling? You can psychologically, physically, spirituallycome to a place where you will never go further becauseyou have marred your own progress. Sin, sin, sin! Do youknow what the unpardonable sin is? Has anybody evertold you what the unpardonable sin is? The unpardonablesin is any sin - ANY SIN - that you continue to do. Godtries to stop you, but you jump over it and you continue. You continue, you continue, you continue! There is onlyone hope for you. There is only one blessing that God cangive you and that is to just KILL YOU! “Many of us areweak and sickly and many die because we fail to discernthe Body of Christ” (I Corinthians 11:29-30). You go andyou kick… You take the Body of Christ and you make afootball out of it. You crush the people who God hasanointed. Do you think that it is an easy thing? You cursethe anointed of God, the person that God has anointed tobring you into perfection, to help you to come up. You goand you dig out all of his or her faults. You dig out all oftheir faults, and you have their faults before you. You failto see God. You fail to see what God has done. God anointsa Body to save the earth.

God did not say that we were perfect! No! God didnot say that we are perfect! God put someone in your place, with you, in your way, in your life. Thank God for that onethat God has put in your life. Regardless of the person’sweaknesses - don’t keep beating on the person’s weak-nesses. YOU WILL KILL YOURSELF! Did you knowthat? You beat on a person’s weaknesses, and the personrepents and lives, and you die! Glory to God! There arethings inside of you that can die one by one. The power ofvision, the power to see. Do you know what can kill a

prophet? If a prophet goes and takes a word from overhere, and this one says that, and that one says that, and theother one says that, and the prophet has them all togetherbefore him or her, you lose out with God! You lose outwith God! Hallelujah! God did not create you a judge!Amen. God created you as a part of a Body!

Oh, I wish I could tell you! I wish I could tell you thepain, the suffering, that I see! Amen. God created mythumb for a purpose. If I cut the thing off and have nofellowship with the thumb, I am inhibited in all of myworks. Not just in one work. I am inhibited in everythingthat I do, because I refuse to have the thumb to work.

We were in Jamaica and we invited a certain ministerfrom the United States to come to preach, and there wereat least 10,000 people out in the racecourse. He set up hisplatform and he preached. This man had one of the mostpowerful ministries that I had ever seen. This man wouldpray for people and all kind of miracles would happen rightbefore your eyes. Amen. But the man had a certain weak-ness.

There are some weaknesses that disqualify you fromusing your gift. Do you understand? And there are someweaknesses that don’t disqualify you. They hurt you andhurt you and hurt you, and you might come to the pointwhere God has to take you out to save your life. This manwas in that position. I mean, I’m telling you history now.The man drank. He would preach and the power of Godwould come down, and all manner of wonderful thingswould happen. But when he went home at night, he wouldhit the bottle, and he would just pass out in a drunken stu-por until the next day. Then he would sober up and bynight he was ready to preach again.

All we did to stop him but he wouldn’t stop, becausehe destroyed every barrier that was put up. Every barrier -the brethren put up every barrier they could. He went fromone church to the other until he formed his own organiza-tion and he was the head of this organization. Nobodycould stop him then and he did his thing. Amen. We in-vited him down to preach, and he was doing a wonderfuljob, you know. Hundreds, thousands of people were beingslain in the spirit and delivered. The bishop of our Church, the church that I was in, his son got leukemia. The doctorsgave up. In those days they didn’t have even half of thescience that they have now to help. The doctors gave up,and the boy was in a bad shape, actually dying, and therewas only one hope we had, which was for the Church toget down and to pray for this boy. But the church went tohim and said, “Let us take this child to see Brother So-and-So tonight in his prayer line. Maybe God will hearour prayers. He has the gift of healing.” The brother said,“I would rather my child died than to let that brother prayfor him.” Well, the child died. What I am trying to say, brethren, is that there is a point. And then the man died

afterward, too, you know. Yes, because he got to a pointwhere God had to take him out. He would have done toomuch damage and he probably would have lost his ownsoul.

You can get to a point where God blesses you withdeath - takes you out! See? We always look at death assuch a cruel, awful thing, but I’m telling you, we thankGod that there is death for those who would lose their soulsif God didn’t intervene and take them out. Amen.

I said there are two types of suffering. You can sufferbecause of the road that you took. Come on with me now.You can suffer because of the road that you took. If youhad just obeyed God… the Bible speaks of it. He said,“Your peace would be as a river” if you had just obeyedGod (Isaiah 48:18). God had a road for you and along thatroad there was peace, there was joy, there was deliver-ance, there was health, there was happiness! But becauseyou wanted your own way, you took another road and youran into tribulation.

You know, I said to God one time, “Lord, how is thischurch going to get from here where we are… you know?Backbiting, lack of love, everything - how are we going toget from this point where we are to that point where Youwant us to be in such a short time?” God said, “Tribula-tion.” Have you ever seen people in trouble? Have youever seen people frightened?

I remember we were on a troop ship, and the men werejust wild. You know. Men were doing all kinds of things. They would steal your money. They would fight. Theywould do all kinds of things. Some of them were the ring-leaders of this type of a gang thing on the ship. There were5,000 men on the ship and we came into a storm. Breth-ren, if you have ever been in a storm at sea, you will havean idea of what I am talking about. This great big ship, theGeorge Washington, carrying 5,000 men plus the crew, wasjust sliding down off of this mighty mountain. It was awave, sliding on the side, and sometimes the wave crashedright over the ship. They had to batten down everybody. All the men had to tie themselves down. Everybody beginto vomit. Amen. I saw those men get down on their kneesand pray. In the midst of it all, there was an alarm - aGerman submarine was sighted. The men ran on to theguns and began to man the guns. Whether they had seensomething or not, some of the men who were so powerful, you saw them on their knees begging God for mercy. Af-ter that storm and that occasion, we had no more troubleuntil we came into New York Harbor.

Brethren, I am trying to say something. I am sayingthat God can bring repentance to people overnight. Yes.The earthquake out in San Francisco - MAN! Churcheswere full the next day! Everybody was going to church.Amen. A “STORM” comes and people fill up the churches, praying. Amen. Do you know that a storm is a really

different thing from any other catastrophe? A storm iscoming towards you and a radio is telling you that the stormis coming. It is telling you how many miles away it is.Everything looks dark and somber. And then, generally,in Jamaica now, the Governor General gets on the radioand prays a prayer, and says, “God bless you!” Like whenit is going to strike in ten minute’s time. When he praysthat prayer, everybody knows that this thing is going tohappen. It is so wild sometimes that coconut trees go fly-ing in the air like missiles. Trees go around in circles. It isawful! Man has no more power there and you see peoplepray as they have never prayed before. Amen.

So, when it comes to tribulation, God is capable ofhelping you with tribulation. Yes. God is capable, andthis is what He said to me. He said, “Tribulation.”

Now, we are opening back doors. We are opening backdoors. We have come to sing and we don’t seem to behitting the song right. The beat of the song is jerky. Some-one is going this way and the other is singing that. We arenot one in our singing. Don’t you think that God knows? What is happening is that some of us have opened doors todevils and then we come to sing. After you have finishedopening a door to a devil, amen, you come as if you are soinnocent and you are going to sing, “I Worship You, Lord.”You are not deceiving anybody. You should have come tothe altar and repented. Amen. Amen. “Hide Me, Lord, InYour Holiness.” How is God going to hide an unholy per-son in His holiness? How can unholiness get into holi-ness? You see, the point is, I am not saying that you arebad and wicked and rude. I am only saying that we haveleft undone the things that we ought to have done - likerepentance - and we are trying to do something else. Youcannot sing for a repentance.

God is speaking to His people. I do not know whenwe are going to hear, but I figure that we are going to hearsoon. Believe you me! God is not business of saying thatbecause the world is bad - He is going to destroy the worldbecause this one … NO, NO, NO! IT IS BECAUSE YOUARE NOT PREVENTING DESTRUCTION! IT IS BE-CAUSE WE ARE NOT STANDING IN THE BREECH!We have been ordained to stand in the breech. We havebeen created… Don’t you understand? God created thechurch, hallelujah, to present Christ to the world, and thechurch became worldly! So then, the church can’t presentChrist to the world anymore. Amen.

Look at the picture again. One Babylonish garmentburied in the midst of the camp of Israel gave the evil spir-its the right to destroy Israel. Amen. When Joshua fell onhis face and said, “Oh, God, have mercy! What is happen-ing here?” God said, “Get up! Get up from off of yourknees. Go and find the man who has the Babylonish gar-ment buried in the middle of his tent.” And then, guesswhat? The man put God to the test.

All right! If you knew that you had that garment bur-ied there, what would have been the right thing to do? Itwould have been to say, “God, it is my fault!” Take re-sponsibility! TAKE RESPONSIBILITY! You ask thebrother about what is happening in his household, and hesays his wife is this and his wife does that and his wife isso and so, and his wife is so and so… He is refusing totake responsibility. Amen.

The man waited. He said they had to cast lots, andthey took the tribe of Judah. Now, if you are a believerand you see them take Judah, and you know that you are inJudah, wouldn’t it be time to repent? But he waited. Sothey had to throw another lot and they took Zabdi, hishousehold, the family. Then they had to throw another lotto take his direct father’s house. So, it was narrowed downfrom the whole of the tribe of Judah to one household, onefamily, and then to his direct family. Up till then, the mandid not repent. Then it fell on him. “Oh, so really, God,You know! You found me out.”

Don’t you understand what I am saying? He put Godto the test. Instead of getting up and saying, “It is I! Letme find mercy, my God!” Amen. When the lot fell onhim, Joshua said to him, “Repent!” Amen. Amen. Joshuasaid to him, “Repent!” Then he said, “Yes, I am sorry. Ihave sinned.” Kind of late, wasn’t it?

Joshua said to repent and he repented. The next thingthat happened was that Joshua said, “Take him out andexecute him.” WHY? WHY? The only way they weregoing to wipe out that innocent blood that was shed (thirty-six men died), was by him giving his own life. He wouldnever be healed any more. His time was up. Time oftransgression was over. Hallelujah! I just fear that thought.Oh, yes! I have been in the gospel long enough; I haveseen it over and over and over again. Amen.

Don’t you understand? We are one whether you wantit or not! Yes! We are one, we are bound together byspiritual circumstances whether you want to admit it ornot! Amen. I said to one sister, “Sister, God has sent mefrom Jamaica to you.” She said, “No! You weren’t sent tome at all.” She rejected the thought that I was sent to her.But afterwards, God is so good, she came back and said, “Iam so sorry.” You know, she said she was sorry. God hashelped her. But, brethren, the words that I speak to you, they are Spirit and they are life. I know that they are Spirit!I know that they are life because they are not premedi-tated, preset, or self-determined. God Almighty is doingsomething. He is giving a people an opportunity to standin the breech. The time will come when the opportunitywill be lifted. He will pull the opportunity away, and Hewill get other people. I have seen it done several times.Amen.

He said, “Repent, lest I come upon you quickly andremove your candlestick out of the way” (Revelation 2:5).

wrong? Amen. So, we look at the situation with Achan, and we see

the situation in our midst. Why can’t we go forward? Whyis this floor bare? Why is the carpet lying against the wall?Simple thought! Have you ever asked yourself why? “Oh,because Brother So-and-So didn’t do such and such” and,“Because this…” and, “Because that...” IT IS BECAUSETHERE IS A BABYLONISH GARMENT BURIED INTHE MIDST THAT HAS STOPPED US FROM GOINGFORWARD!!!

When we started off, we were going forward. But allof a sudden, a Babylonish garment was there. Somethingrepulsive to God, something that God can’t work becauseof. The same it is here. The same it is in your lives. “Oh,”said God, “I would have made your peace like a river.”Oh, do you know how God laments over us? “Oh, if youhad only obeyed Me!” “Oh Jerusalem, Jerusalem,” Jesuscried (Matthew 23:37, Luke 13:34). That is the first thingthat the Bible tells us that Jesus wept over. He looked atJerusalem. He saw all of the destruction. He saw what isgoing on there now. He saw the bombs blowing up busesand killing people, and whatever is to happen to Jerusa-lem, and He said, “Oh Jerusalem, Oh Jerusalem, if youonly would have obeyed Me. I would have gathered youtogether as a hen gathereth her brood, but you would not!”What a lament!

Oh, God, help us! God, help us to see in the Spirit, tosee what is going on! We are blind, my God. Help us,Lord! Messiah! Hallelujah! Help us to see! Just openour eyes. Elijah’s servant, You opened his eyes so he couldsee the host of God around. Amen. Loose! My God, openour eyes that we can see. Oh God, help us. Help us, LordGod, to lay our lives before You, to break the power of thespirits that are taking their authority because of theBabylonish garment that is in our midst. Help us, LordGod! Loose! My God! My God! Hallelujah!

Somebody says that means that He will kill you. Not nec-essarily. The worst thing to see is a church without light.Man lights the lantern and God’s light is out - gone. Thecandlestick moved out of the way. The candlestick is thesymbol of your working with God. You are working withGod. Somebody believes that if I am working with God,then I have to preach! The only preaching that God re-quires absolutely is from your life. But you might be clean-ing the yard. You are working with God - God says, “Cleanthe yard,” and you clean the yard. Amen. It doesn’t mat-ter what you do. When you are working with God, you arepart of God’s function in the earth and this function is go-ing to stop the devil from taking this world. Believe youme! Satan believes that he is going to take the world. Oh,yes! He is going around claiming people. “These peopleare my people.” “Those people are my people.” Satan isa liar. He is a thief. He is a murderer. Amen. He cannotclaim that which God has sanctified. I don’t care whatcondition that you are in - you belong to God. You havenowhere else to go. Amen.

You have nowhere else to go. I don’t know if youunderstand it. God said, “All right. You are a free willagent. You can do what you want.” You are a free willagent, you can do what you want - BUT - there are conse-quences. That simply means that you are not free to dowhat you want unless you are just a fool, just fooling your-self. You are not really free. We are not free. We are freein Christ, but not free in man, in self, in sin. We havenowhere else to go. Jesus looked at the twelve and said,“Will you go, also?” They said, “Where would we go?We have nowhere else to go. You have the Word of eternallife. We have nowhere else to go” (John 6:67-68). Amen.

You know, we do not recognize the eternal Word inour midst. One brother said to me, “Brother Cec, so youare perfect then? Because if what you say that we have todo…” I said, “No! No! Not what I say! What God tellsme to say!” If you catch me saying something that Goddidn’t tell me to say, it is your duty to say, “Hey! You areoff line.” Definitely. That is no affront. That is a blessing. That is a blessing! Somebody says, “Oh, you are off line.”But to say that we do not have the perfect Word in ourmidst is talking the talk of the devil. For as sure as Godlives, He would not have left His world to be destroyed byevil preachers and evil doctrines. He must have the TRUTHsomewhere, and you are the ones who will discover theTRUTH. Do you know where you will discover it? Insideof your own self. Yes. “Thy Word have I hid in my heartthat I might not sin against thee” (Psalm 119:11). TheTRUTH of GOD is hidden in the hearts of men and it is inyour heart. Face yourself sometimes and you will realizethat you knew the truth. Do you know why? When you dosomething wrong, you know you are wrong. If you didn’thave the truth in you, how would you know you were

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for praying for my father these last few months. It hasreally blessed us. It started in April when my mother went into the hospital, and she had an obstructedbowel. We went to visit Mom and I said, “Mom, I’m really concerned about Dad. He looks very paleand he looks like he is losing weight.” We didn’t know at this time that this had probably been going onfor ten years, and we didn’t know until this time that Dad had started having bloody, black stools. Hewas very ornery, more than I had ever seen him in my entire life, I think because he was afraid becausehe didn’t know what was going on. But once he found out what was going on, he just had a peace comeover him.

So my dad went up to visit my mom in the hospital. He could barely walk, and my sisters were thereand they took him down to the emergency room. Immediately they checked his blood and he was very,

very anemic, so they put him in the hospital and gave him three units of blood. Two days later theydid some testing, and they found out that he had a blockage in his duodenal area, so they biopsied

it. And while all this process was going on, the Lord was so faithful in giving me much hopeand much promise.

The first thing that the Lord spoke to me was to tell the grandchildren that they neededto make it right with their grandfather, because the grandchildren had really treated

Dad very badly. So I went to the ones that the Lord told me to tell, and tothe mothers to have them tell this to their children. The next thing that the

Lord spoke to me was that it was his time. And so I asked, “Lord, what doyou mean, ‘It is his time’? Is it his time for salvation? Is it his time to die?

Is it time for both?”Again, I was doing dishes and crying out to the Lord, and the Lord spoke

to me, and He said, “Surely I will save your father.” So I had that promise earlyon in this thing, before I even knew that it was cancer. When the biopsy came

back, I had a knowing in me already that it was cancer. One day we were at church, and we were singing and we were praying, and I

prayed for my father. I saw in the Spirit; I saw Jesus. I didn’t see His face oranything, but I knew that it was Jesus, and He was holding my dad, and He

was drawing him close to His bosom. The Lord showed me that to havepeace through it all, and every morning I would hear that song, “The Prom-ises of God are New, New Every Morning.”

So I had encouragement through the whole thing, and we had been backand forth several times - of course, it feels like a whirlwind. Every time thatwe came to the hospital, he would seem to perk up and to show signs ofimprovement, but the minute that we would leave the hospital, he wouldshow signs of really going downhill quickly. But one day, Mark and I cameback and this was before my father’s birthday. Dad’s birthday was on Mon-day, so this was the Friday before the seventh. It must have been Thursday

night, somewhere in the night, as we were traveling back that Dad had thisvisitation with the Lord. He said that Jesus came to him and invited him to breakfast. He

said that he had breakfast at the foot of his bed. Now, Dad wasn’t eating anything; he was on

IVs. He was having breakfast with Jesus! He said that there were four or five angels around. He saidthat Jesus spoke to him about how He was going to raise up Mikayla, which was a great-granddaughterthat died of SIDS at a very young age. Jesus said, “I am going to raise up Mikayla, and I am going toraise up you, too, Mike.” Jesus said, “You are going to have a new beginning, a new life, a new body, aglorified body.” Jesus said, “I’m not going to invite you to dinner right now.” He said, “You have to goback.” Jesus said, “I will call you when it is time.”

And so, I think that Dad wanted to go, but he had to come back. He thought he would die duringsurgery. They did surgery on the 26th of July. He thought he would probably just go to sleep and notwake up. Thank God that he didn’t, because the Lord had something special planned after that. Whenhe came out of surgery, I said, “Dad, did the Lord speak to you at all?” He said, “No.” But later He did.He spoke to him that Friday before his birthday. Dad seemed to be doing well at that point. He musthave gotten a lot of life at that visitation, because he seemed like he was doing better. The doctors weresaying that they were going to release him. They were saying that he could go home the followingMonday, and that we would have to provide a place for him. The family wanted him to come home andcare for him.

But after his birthday, it seemed like everything just went downhill. They had done a CT scan andthey found that the liver was imbedded with cancer. They said that there wasn’t any hope, and they tookhim off all the IVs and it wasn’t long after that that Dad passed on.

But all through it I had hope. Every morning, Dad would wake up and say, “I can’t believe that I amstill here.” He wanted to die, but he couldn’t die until the Lord said that it was time to come home.Amen. God is so good. He is so faithful and so merciful. Amen. Thank you so much for praying for mydad and for my family. Continue to keep my family in prayer because this is one of the hardest trials thatI have had to go through - not with Dad’s death. I had prayed all along that the Lord would prepare mein my heart, and He had prepared my heart. I’m not sad that Dad is gone. I’m rejoicing that he is withthe Lord. But for my family members, all my sisters, there was much contention and much strife. Thatwas one of the hardest things that I had to go through. I don’t know if it is over yet, but just continue tokeep my sisters in prayer and for salvation as well.

God bless you so much and thank you all for your prayers.

Addition by Mark JantziI even began calling him Dad, and I really only called one man Dad, ever, in my life. But it just

seemed the thing to do, to call him Dad. You know, I first met Dad about three years ago, and Dad wasnot a man who was seeking the Lord. He knew all about religion. He watched television a lot. Hewatched all the TV evangelists. The first time that I met him - apparently he was told that I was apreacher of the Word. In his first conversation with me, he proceeded to tell me all about the fallenchurches and the fallen television evangelists, and everything that they had ever done wrong. I bit mytongue for quite a bit, and when he was finished, I said, “Well, you have done a pretty good job of findingthe phonies and the charlatans and the failures.” I said, “Now, if there is counterfeit money, there has gotto be real money out there. So maybe now you would like to start looking for the real thing.” He had avery critical spirit. He was a very critical man. And why did the Lord save him, I ask? I believe it ispartly so because we asked. And you know, I often think that “we have not because we ask not” (James4:2). Then I began to discover that the Lord really wanted him saved more than we did. It is His heartto save, and you know, the way that He went about it - it just amazes me. The mercy! The love! Comingto him and saying, “Mike, I’ll make breakfast for you.” He came as a servant. Not as a big king orcommander or anything like that; He just came and offered to be a servant before him. And I’ll tell you,the man was really moved, really moved! Praise the Lord! Amen.

Well, I have something to share that has been on myheart for a while, and I would like you to start in Matthew,if we could. This is an end-time Word, brethren, of somethings that Jesus said in the 24th chapter of Matthew. Wecan probably start at verse 36, But of that day and hourknoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but myFather only. 37But as the days of Noe were, so shall alsothe coming of the Son of man be. 38For as in the daysthat were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noeentered into the ark, 39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of theSon of man be. Now, what was going on in the days ofNoah? There are a lot of aspects to be looked at here, andthis is what I want to be spending the time looking at. Firstof all, let’s focus on these verses here. We see that theywere eating and drinking and marrying and giving in mar-riage. Now, does that sound like wicked, ungodly activityto you? We are still doing that, aren’t we? How many ofyou have stopped eating and drinking? And there are stillmarriages taking place. In other words, this is normal ac-tivity. This is activity that, as far as you are concerned, you believe you are going to live another day; you are prob-ably going to live another week. Life is going to go on.

The True ArkOf God

Brother

Mark Jantzi

Mahomet, Illinois

August 20th, 2006

The world is going to go on, as far as we are concerned.Another month, another year. We make plans, we build,we occupy, and this is going on. It was going on in thedays of Noah. It is going on in our time.

But what was unusual about this activity is what theLord comes along with in this next verse. He says thatthey knew not. They knew not until the flood came, andtook them all away. Now, why did they not know? Was itfor lack of information? Was it for lack of a preacher to betelling them why he was building this thing, the ark? Now,this was probably the biggest building project that had everbeen known at that time. I don’t believe people built mas-sively large buildings at that time - I don’t know and Icould be proven wrong. I don’t believe that people builthouses this big, just to have an apartment house or a placeto dwell in luxury, or to keep sheep, or for whatever thepurpose. I believe that this was a very unusual buildingproject, and I believe that it attracted the attention of ev-eryone living there at that time.I don’t believe that the population had spread across theother side of the earth, where people didn’t know about itor didn’t hear about it. I believe it was out there in front ofeverybody, and everybody was there asking questions aboutit. “What is this thing that Noah is doing?” Then they

began to talk about it. They probably began to talk to Noahabout it, and they began to mock him. “What are you do-ing?” “It is going to rain.” “What is rain? We have neverheard of it. Water falling from the sky? We never heard ofsuch a thing. The man is crazy!”

So they knew, they heard and yet, they didn’t know.Do you understand what I am saying? In other words, they heard the message, BUT they didn’t believe it. Now,brethren, we have been hearing an end-time Word for howlong? Depending on how long you have been under thisWord, you will give different answers. Some are going tosay 20 years. Some will probably say 30 years. Some willprobably say less. On the one hand, we believe that thingsare coming to an end. You know that even the world hassome manner of belief that something is going to happen.Yes, even the world believes that.

I don’t know if I mentioned this to you, but I had alarge load of oil delivered to our house. We have four 250gallon tanks and I don’t use it very much, except as a backup. And it has been about five, six or seven years agowhen we last had them filled. So we called the oil truck;we had called around and gotten a good price - well, not agood price considering fuel prices, but the best price that Icould get. I said to the man, “How do we pay? Do youaccept credit cards? Do you accept checks?” He said,“No! We don’t accept credit cards. We don’t accept checks.I expect cash when I come to deliver the oil.” He was verycautious about it.

So the day came when the oil truck came into the drive-way. A man got out, and an older woman got out of thepassenger side. They got down the steps and down to thedriveway, and the man asked me if I had the cash readybefore he was going to make the delivery. I assured himthat I did, and gave evidence that I did. He proceeded thento go about his business. I began to talk to the woman, who was his mother. It was a family business that herhusband had started and now he was disabled, and she wasturning it over to her son. I said, “I see that you people arevery cautious about the delivery of oil, about the way thatyou deliver and the way that you collect payments.” Shesaid, “Oh, you wouldn’t believe what people try to do tous. They try to cheat us. They let us deliver the oil andthen they say, ‘Oh, I can’t pay you!’ and they don’t intendto pay.” She said, “It is getting so bad that we can hardlyconduct business anymore.” I took the opportunity of say-ing to her, “Well, we know that the day of the Lord is com-ing, and this is what the Word of God says is going to behappening in the earth in these last days. People are goingto get more selfish and greedier and they are going to getmore and more violent. They are going to become thieves. They are going to become murderers.” I said to her, “Youknow, the only cure for what is going on in the world is thereturn of the Lord Jesus Christ.” She said, “Oh, I wish He

would come soon and get it over with.” I thought, “Lady, you don’t really know what you are saying! You don’thave any idea what is going to be the circumstances of thecoming of the Lord. You just want to go on and conductyour business and not to have the hassles and the troublesthat you have had.” I’m sure that the airline business wouldlove to go back to business the way that it was back in the’60s or the ’70s or the ’80s, or whenever - when you couldjust walk into the airplane and not have all of this securitybusiness.

Now, it says that they knew not until the flood came, and took them all away. Now, you know very well whowas taken away from this, don’t you? And you know wherethey were taken. The following verses in Luke tell us thatthe same thing is going to happen in our generation as ithappened in Noah’s time. The unrighteous were takenaway in judgment, destruction and death. Luke 17:34, Itell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed;the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35Twowomen shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 36Two men shall be in the field; theone shall be taken, and the other left. 37And they answeredand said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them,Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gath-ered together.

There is another verse in Luke that I want to read toyou before we go back into Genesis. Luke 19:44 is theverse that really sticks out to me. Jesus is talking again toHis generation here. It is specifically to his generation, but you know that any prophetic word given to any gen-eration also has application to our generation. So don’toverlook any prophetic word. It speaks to us as well. AndHe is saying here, Luke19:41, And when he was comenear, he beheld the city, and wept over it, 42Saying, Ifthou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, thethings which belong unto thy peace! but now they arehid from thine eyes. You see, we have a day, brethren. We have a day. We have a day of repentance. When theLord said to Rita, “It is his time,” He meant that her dadwould have his day, and thank God that he responded inhis day [see testimony by Sister Rita which is included inthis bulletin]. Amen. Verse 42, Saying, If thou hadstknown, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things whichbelong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thineeyes. So here again, the generation of Noah was hearingthe word preached by Noah, and yet because of the unbe-lief in their hearts, it was hid from their eyes.

I started by saying that we have been hearing an end-time word. On the one hand we believe it and on the otherhand, we don’t believe it. We don’t believe it because wedon’t act according to what we are told that God is sayingin this hour. Amen. I’m not trying to scold you. I’m just

trying to say that Jesus said it is going to be this way, as itwas in the days of Noah. People were hearing it, but theywere not acting as if they believed it.

Luke 19:43, For the days shall come upon thee, thatthine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and com-pass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, 44Andshall lay thee even with the ground, and thy childrenwithin thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stoneupon another; because thou knewest not the time of thyvisitation. You know, I hear so many of the other churches, some of the full-gospel and what have you, some of theirprophetic word and all of that, and they are saying that weare going to have a visitation of God. I wonder withinmyself sometimes, “Do you really know what a visitationof God is? And do you know what this next visitation isreally going to be all about? It is probably not the kind ofvisitation that you had in mind.”

Now, let’s go back to Genesis for a minute, and I wantto see what was really going on in the days of Noah. If youwant to know what is going on with the world, sit downwith a man like Brother Peter, and he won’t be able to tellyou in an hour. It will probably take him 40 hours to tellyou what is really going on in the world. The wickedness, the unrighteousness, the trends and patterns of even ourown government, the mindset that is creeping in on allpeople, the school systems, I mean, it goes on and on andon. You can start reading those that are crying and warn-ing what is happening to us. And it is not just America, itis in the whole world that this is happening. Amen. It IS“as in the days of Noe,” if you have an understanding ofwhat was happening in the days of Noah.

Now, there was also something going on among thosewho should have been the righteous generation in the daysof Noah. So let me read some verses for you in chapter 6of what was happening. Genesis 6:1, And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, anddaughters were born unto them, 2That the sons of Godsaw the daughters of men that they were fair; and theytook them wives of all which they chose. 3And the LORDsaid, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for thathe also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred andtwenty years. There was a direct word from the LORD forthat generation that said that they have got only a hundredand twenty more years. And you say, “A hundred andtwenty years? I can’t imagine a hundred and twenty years;it is such a long period of time. I mean, that is just unbe-lievable. That is just never going to happen.” Brethren, ahundred and twenty years is really just a short period oftime. I have a little different perspective than maybe someof you do, when I think about the life span of my parents. My father was born in 1902. My mother was born in 1906.Do you realize that is a hundred years ago? They were

real people. Their parents were born in about 1880. Thatis a hundred and twenty plus years. That is actually a hun-dred and twenty-six years ago, and I knew these people. Iknew these people well. They were real people. A hun-dred and twenty years isn’t very long. I mean, maybe ifyou are seven years old, you think that a hundred and twentyyears is an eternity or something. But when you get to be,say, my age, you say, “Man, where did life go? Where didit go? It has been flying.”

All right, it says, verse 4, There were giants in theearth in those days; and also after that, when the sons ofGod came in unto the daughters of men, and they barechildren to them, the same became mighty men whichwere of old, men of renown. So let’s take a look, first ofall, at what was going on with the sons of God. Now breth-ren, I believe that the term sons of God in the book ofGenesis has the same meaning that it does in the book ofRomans. Is there anybody that considers this a wrong in-terpretation? Sons of God were dwelling in the same landas the people called the daughters of men. As BrotherBurt prophesied to this young couple, sons of God is maleand female in the natural. The sister is a son of God, thebrother is a son of God, amen? It is in the same mannerthat we males and females consider ourselves candidatesfor the bride of Christ.

Sons of God - there was a line of people in the days ofNoah that were the descendants of Seth and there was aline of people who were descendants of Cain. Cain wasan unrighteous man. He was a man who violated the lawof God, the Word of God and the principles of God in kill-ing his brother. A whole group of his descendants de-scended into greater and greater violence, greater andgreater wickedness. It wasn’t just the one murder, but nowthe murders happened practically every day, going on intothis generation. Now, there was also a generation of Seth, from which Noah descended. These were those who hadthe example of men like Enoch, who began to walk withGod and who began to turn to God and who began to seekGod. So the Word of God was alive - the Spirit of theLORD, the witness of the LORD. The Spirit of the LORDwas alive among these people. So here you have two gen-erations/types of people. You have the sons of God, andyou have those who have gone to wickedness, the sons ofman/flesh.

Now, what was happening in the natural among thesons of God? First of all, let’s take the natural things, andthen we will take the spiritual. Among the natural sons ofGod, they were intermarrying with the world. That meansthat they were not marrying their own kind. Okay?

Here is one of the things that I can appreciate aboutthe Lord, if I can share a very personal little thing. BeforeI married Rita, I questioned the Lord. I remember hearingthe word - I remember exactly where I was in the living

room when I heard the Word of the Lord after I had askedHim, “Is this going to be the right thing to do?” He spokea very brief word to me. He said, “She is your kind.” Andthat settled the issue for me. Brethren, if we are going tobe getting married, we need to be getting married to ourown kind. Now, not just our own kind as far as, “Are theyare born again, and do they go to church”? That is notreally the full definition of “your own kind.” Isn’t it inEzekiel where He says, “I am going to judge between cattleand cattle, and between sheep and sheep?” Ezekiel 34:17,And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord GOD;Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between therams and the he goats. Verse 20, Therefore thus saiththe Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judgebetween the fat cattle and between the lean cattle. Verse22, Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no morebe a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle. Thismeans that there are other kinds of cattle and there aredifferent categories among sheep. Amen? Not everyonethat says they are born again and is faithful to church isgoing to be among the sons of God. Brethren, we need to,in the natural, stick to our own kind, as far as marriage andthe intimate relationships are concerned.

Now, spiritually, the term daughters also has a differ-ent meaning, doesn’t it? The termwoman in the Word of God refersto church. So we could say, let usnot get involved with other daugh-ter (church) systems that are not ofthe sons of God. These are churchesthat are not preaching a message ofsonship, not preaching the Kingdomof God. They are preaching anotherkingdom, perhaps, or their denomi-nation but they are not preachingand living an end-time message. What were the results of these unions? It says in verse 4that they produced giants. But you know that that wordgiant does not just mean men that are 15 feet tall? If youlook up that word in the concordance and find the literalmeaning, one of the best definitions that I found was “bully”- incorrigible, disobedient prodigy that came from theserelationships.

I don’t know, brethren, but look at what is going on inthe world round about us with the children of this genera-tion. They are disobedient, unthankful, and rebellious -parents cannot even control their children, and they areafraid to try. Children watching TV, somebody goes toturn it off and listen to the children scream; parents are notin control. Parents are not trying to control their children. This was going on among the sons of God where they werein compromise with the daughters of men. There were afew remnant sons of God, however, who were walking with

God. Let me go on.It says, Genesis 6:5, And GOD saw that the wicked-

ness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagi-nation of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continu-ally. We are seeing this in the world today, evil continu-ally, day and night, 24 and 7, planning and scheming howto cheat other people. People are getting on the internetand planning how to scam. All kinds of new scam artistsare coming in. My goodness, I’ll tell you, if these peoplespent half the energy they use planning how to scam peopleas they did trying to do legitimate business, they mighthave success.

It says now here, verse 6, And it repented the LORDthat he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him athis heart. Brethren, I think we need to be sensitive to theheart of God. Do you realize that this whole process isgrievous to God? I tell you, brethren, I am still moved bywhat God did for Rita’s father, that He would go out of Hisway for one man, and to meet him in the manner which Hedid. It just brings tears to my eyes to think about it. WhenI think about Jesus looking over Jerusalem and weeping, and saying, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, I wish I could justtake you under My wings like a mother hen. I wish I couldprotect you. I can see what is coming to you. I can see it

coming, but you won’t believe Me.And if you did believe Me, you arenot acting on what I am saying. Youare not coming to me” (Matthew23:37). The same heart of God isexpressed here in Genesis. It saidthat it grieved him at his heart, be-cause of the violence. What do youthink is in the heart of God today,as He sees the condition of theworld? As He sees what is goingon in Paris? As He sees what is

going on in the Middle East? As He sees what is going onin our churches? As He sees what is going on in our fami-lies here? As He sees the hatred? As He sees the strife? What do you think is going on in the heart of God?

We go down here to the 11th and the 12th verses, and itsays the same thing here again, 11The earth also was cor-rupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.12And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it wascorrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon theearth. By the way, earth has pretty much the same mean-ing in Genesis here as it does in the rest of the Word wehave today - the carnal realm. God is grieved with what isgoing on in the carnal realm, in our carnal realm, and Hesaid that all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.Brethren, we know that flesh and blood cannot inherit theKingdom of God.

Verse 13, And God said unto Noah, The end of all

What do you think is inthe heart of God today,

as He sees thecondition of the world?

flesh is come beforeme; for the earth isfilled with violencethrough them; and, behold, I will destroythem with the earth.Remember that Jesussaid, “As in the days ofNoe, so shall the daysof the Son of man be”

(Matthew 24:37). Thatmeans that the Lord is looking for the end of all flesh. How many of you are going to be willing to give up allflesh? Isn’t flesh the thing that we hold on to most dearly? It’s the natural man, the natural thinking, the natural ori-entation. The humanity that we please - that is what wecall flesh. The end of all flesh is come before me.

Now, He goes on and He begins to tell Noah that Hewants him to build Him an ark. Here is the reason that Ihave this little board for drawing. He gives Noah the di-mensions of the ark, but before we get to that, I want toshow here what most of us think of when we think of theark. In fact, there was a picture of this up on the wall inthe room that I slept in at Peter’s house. This is what wethink of the ark. Now why did I draw that? Children’sstorybooks? Picture on Peter’s wall? Oh, it has giraffessticking their heads out of the window here, you know.Noah is standing here with an umbrella in his hand. Well, anyway, I did that to say this. That storybook ark is not theark. Okay? That is not the ark. That is not what God toldNoah to build. Let’s go to the Word here. Genesis 6:14,Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou makein the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

Now, if I go back to the Word that the Lord gave toBrother Campbell in March or April… You’ve got thatWord in your Omega Message. I have heard three ver-sions of it so I pretty well have the full fashion of what theLord revealed: the New York version, the Nebraska ver-sion, and the Colorado version. As I recall, there wereseveral things that were being said in the Word to BrotherCampbell. One was that it is the time of the sealing of thesons of God. He didn’t say “the saints.” In fact, I heardhim correct himself on one of the tapes. He said, “No, Idon’t mean the saints. I mean the sons of God.”

So we are going to show an ark here that I believe isthe type that God had built. Whenever God makes a natu-ral pattern of something, it is to speak of and manifest aspiritual reality of something else. For instance, the taber-nacle had specific dimensions to it, and it was a messageof something else very specific that God is trying to say.The message is the house of God. This, I believe, is apicture of the end-time sons of God, what God is sayinghere in the ark (see illustration). The ark was a vessel of

deliverance, was it not? Where is deliverance going tocome from? From Mount Zion, isn’t it? And the sons ofGod company, I believe, are those that make up the MountZion people.

So the one thing then is that it was to be pitched withinand without. That is the sealing. In other words, the seal-ing was to go on the inside and the outside. According toBrother Campbell’s vision, the sealing is well under way.The sealing has even been completed in some instances. We don’t need to speculate about where it has and where ithasn’t been. Suffice it to say that the sealing is being com-pleted. I am not going to draw a picture of the sealing. Wehave talked a lot about the sealing in other meetings, andabout what the meaning of the word sealing really is. Therewould be a lot to be said here, and it would be very inter-esting to go into.

The next thing that He says here, verse 15, And this isthe fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length ofthe ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of itfifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. 16A windowshalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou fin-ish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in theside thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shaltthou make it. Let’s talk about these numbers. The lengthis 300 cubits. Now, do you know what a cubit is? It is thelength of a man’s forearm, which, with our understandingin English, is about 18 inches, although some say that thecubit might have been 20 inches. And of course, we don’tknow how big Noah really was. For our understanding, let’s say that it was about 18 inches. So, in our under-standing of size, the length of this thing was about 450feet, but don’t remember that number. I’m just telling youthat so that you will know that this was a very large object. How long is this building here in Mahomet? 100 feet. Soit would be four and a half times the length of this build-ing. That is very large. Nobody is going to miss that project, are they?

So where do we come up with the number 300 in theBible? What does 300 mean? Overcomers! Gideon!Right? Let’s put the word overcomers here (see ark illus-tration). How did Gideon’s army come to be 300? Whatdid it start with? 32,000. And the Lord said that this armywas too many. By the way, how big of an enemy armywere they facing? Like the sands of the sea? Let’s say thatthey were facing 300,000. Why would 32,000 be too many?I mean, that would be a 10 to 1 ratio. Why would that betoo many? Because man would get the credit, and theLord said, “I want the credit” (Judges 7:2). We are notgoing to do this in our flesh. It says, “The end of all fleshis come before Me.” You know, brethren, we are not go-ing to get people saved by the flesh anymore. We didn’tget Dad saved by the arguments of our flesh, did we? Weasked the Lord, and the Lord did it. He got the credit for

it, didn’t He? Amen. Now, the Lord said that the fearful can go home. How

many went home? 22,000 left for home. So we know thatthe fearful are not going to be here, are they? If you areafraid of facing the things that are coming, you are prob-ably not going to be in this company. You need to get overthe fear. The fearful will not be among the overcomercompany. Amen? They will be in the company of unbe-lievers. Revelation 21:7, He that overcometh shall in-herit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be myson. 8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abomi-nable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcer-ers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part inthe lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which isthe second death.

Well, the Lord said that there were still too many. TheLord said that 10,000 were still too many. You need to cutthis down a little further. And how did He test them tobring it down further? Down to the brook, and what wasthe test at the brook? By the way, they didn’t know thatthey were being tested. Did you understand that? He justsaid that everybody was thirsty, and to come on down andto get a drink. So after they drank… He said that those ofyou that drank like this - drinking the water by cuppingtheir hands - you get over here, and those of you that wentdown on your face and just drank without regard, you cango over there. What was the difference? What was thesignificance? If you drink from your hands, your eyes areup here where you can see, where you can watch. If youput your face down - we are not made like a cow or ahorse, with eyes here on the sides of our head - we cannotsee. When we are down like that, our eyes are almost inthe water. Have any of you ever drunk from a stream? Ihave many times, back in the old days before pollution. And I know that you can’t see anything when you are drink-ing like that. So, what does water represent? The takingin of water represents the taking in of the Word, participat-ing in the things of the Spirit, and saints, we need to bewatching while we do it, while we partake of the Word ofGod. Okay? So who were those who were left? Therewere 300 who were left. This is Gideon’s company of

overcomers. The next dimension here would be 30 and 30 cubits

was the height. Remember now that we are talking aboutthe sons of God, the company of the overcoming sons ofGod, the manchild company. The height is 30. What isthe significance of the number 30? What does 30 mean?Maturity! Can you give me some examples of maturity at30? David was 30 years old when he began to reign. Bythe way, he was anointed to be king long before he became30. He had the calling as a youth, but he didn’t have thematurity to fulfill the calling, and so he had to go into aperiod of training until he became mature, then he wasable to take the throne.

Let’s talk about Joseph for a minute. Again, as David, probably his experiences started about the age of 17. Hisanointing for his calling was not as pleasant as was David’s.David had Samuel pour the oil on him. Joseph had hisbrothers sell him as a slave. That was the beginning of hiscalling. How many of you could see that if that was thebeginning of your calling, it would also be the beginningof your tribulation, the beginning of trying circumstances?“Thank you, Lord! I’ve got a great calling!” You know!My goodness! You would think that the bottom of yourworld fell out. But this is circumstances, and we need tounderstand that God is in control of our circumstances. Ifyou don’t believe that, you don’t believe in God. So Hehas a plan for this. Joseph, when he finally became 30years old, he came up and sat on the throne, and began torule and began to reign. Amen. Didn’t Jesus say that theovercomer will sit with Me in My throne to rule and reignwith Him? (Revelation 3:21).

Then there is Jesus. He was perfect from a child, andblameless. He had the knowledge - at twelve years old heproved that he had the knowledge (Luke 2:46-50). Hebaffled the Ph.D.s, the Doctorates, the Rabbis and the chiefpriests, and all that kind down at the temple. He knew theWord and the meaning of it. He was asking questions thatthey couldn’t answer and answering questions from them.He had the information, He had the knowledge, but in God’splan, He was going to be proven to be mature before Hewas to begin His ministry, as an example for us. The sons

of God need to come to maturity before we can be thisvessel of deliverance. Amen.

There is another dimension, and it is the dimension50, the width or the breadth of this thing. We have talkedabout the length and the height. We have come up to ma-turity, but there is a breadth - a depth, and in this depth wehave the number 50. What do you think of when you thinkof the number 50? Jubilee! So how do we get to jubilee? We go seven times seven, which equals 49, and the nextone is 50. So that next year is the celebration of Jubilee. What does jubilee mean? What happened on the year ofjubilee? Re-lease! By theway, whatdoes the num-ber sevenspeak of? Per-fection andcompletion, but what else? When you come to the seventh, the seventh is the REST!Okay? So we are talking about a Sabbath of Sabbathshere, when we come to 50. By the way, I should write theword maturity here for this one. I think I am going towrite the word rest for the 50 (see ark illustration). Andthese are the meanings of the dimensions of the ark. Therest, the maturity, and the overcomers. What had happenedhere in the coming of this flood… We have looked at thedimensions, but there were some other things in this ark aswell. One is that there is a window, and the window wasone cubit in size. Tell me what use this window had. Ortell me what use this window didn’t have. This windowwas not for viewing and looking out, was it? The children’spicture of the ark, with windows along the side didn’t hap-pen. Noah was not allowed to look out and to view thedestruction with his natural, fleshly eyes. Noah was notallowed to see what was happening to others who weredisobedient to the Lord. That was not his business. It wasonly God’s business. I have to conclude, therefore, thatthis window was closed. It had to be closed, or the arkwould have taken on water. There came a time after theflood when Noah opened that window. It wasn’t to see ifthe raining had stopped. It was that he wondered if theearth was dry. But it still appears to me from what I readin these next chapters, that Noah still did not look out thatwindow. He sent a representative out that window to tryto determine if the earth had dried up yet. The first repre-sentative was a bad choice. A raven. The raven did notrespond by coming back. I wonder what the raven foundout there? A lot of dead, decaying flesh, maybe, floatingaround? And he is an unclean creature, isn’t he? And youknow ravens were the ones that fed Elijah. But the time ofthe raven came to an end, didn’t it? The time of the world

feeding the sons of God is probably going to come to anend. Our reliance upon the unclean thing is now going tobe proven out. So he sent out a dove, and he did get someanswers from the dove, a type of the Holy Spirit. Now younotice still, that if Noah could see through that hole, whydid he have to send the dove out? It was because the win-dow was above him.

Before we get to the door, let’s take up the levels ofthis thing. It says here that it had lower, second and thirdstories (Genesis 6:16). So here I am going to draw thesethree stories. Do your math, brethren. If these were evenly

spaced - itdoesn’t saythat theywere, but let’sassume thatthey are. Then eachstory wouldbe 10 cubits.

So as far as our understanding of size, 10 cubits is 15 feet(about 5 meters). That is a pretty high ceiling, isn’t it?Again, I’m wondering how tall Noah was. Why did theyneed it 15 feet high? For the giraffes! (laughter) Yes, Iwould have taken the babies, too. Mr. Hovind believesthat Noah took mostly baby animals on the ark as theywouldn’t have taken up as much room, would have eatenless, been easier to manage and maybe apt to sleep more.

So, how do you think that the three levels were di-vided? Okay, who occupied what level? I think I canmake some predictions here and I think that it lines upwith what I understand of the Word of God. You noticethat there are three stories here. In the tabernacle there arethree, are there not? There is an Outer Court, there is aHoly Place, and there is a Holy of Holies. Where did thebeasts come in to the tabernacle? What section was thebeast allowed into? The Outer Court. I am going to saythat the beast was in this lower place, the bottom floor. The lower level is for the beasts. The lower nature is thebeast nature; man’s lower nature is beastly or carnal.

I believe that on the second level would be food. Now,I have been thinking about the kind of food that he wouldhave brought in here, and realized that what we now callcarnivores were on the ark. But I have been wonderingalso if they were carnivores at the time that they came onthe ark. Why was it that the fear of man came on the ani-mals after the flood? Was that when flesh eating began? And you know that we have had the word that these car-nivorous animals are going to have to change their eatinghabits when the fullness of the Kingdom comes. How elseis a lion going to eat straw like an ox? I’m wondering iflions maybe were eating straw on the ark. And how in theworld would you get enough food to feed these carnivores,

Keeping in Touch November 200630

Page 31: Keeping InTouchpreachingbeyondwords.org/kitbulletin/2006/Nov2006.pdf · Cleaning Crew 4th:Helping Hands 11th: Kate 18th: Paul & Pavlina 25th: Becky Sundays 12th and 26th Monday Nights

and how would you keep the meat? I don’t think they hadelectricity or cold storage. There is no evidence of that. Idon’t think that they did, and I don’t think that they storedmeat. I don’t think that they were feeding the carnivoresthose seven clean, live animals. That wouldn’t have lasteda year for these lions and tigers. I mean, these tigers willconsume lunch every day, and you would be running outof clean animals soon. So I think that there was a lot ofhay and that type of thing - vegetative material among thefood supply. The top level was for man, Noah. I think thatwas his living quarters up there in the top layer.

And again, in the tabernacle, what is the section wherethe food was? It was the second court or the Holy Placewhere the Table of Shewbread was. And the priest onlywas allowed to go in, and I think that Noah was a type of apriest before God. He was a representative of the Word ofGod to the world, and only he could enter the holiest place.

Now, before we get to the door, I am still thinking aboutthis window. And I’m asking myself, “What was the sourceof light in this ark?” Consider that this thing is made wa-tertight. And what is the source of air that this ark had? Iwould imagine that you could design something to bringair in. And for light you might say, “They had candles orthey had lamps.” Are you thinking about going throughall of this hay with lamps to feed these animals? I don’tthink so. My father was a dairy farmer. He put away tonsand tons of hay in the barn, and I’ll tell you, nobodyDARED strike a match anywhere near that barn - lowerlevel, anywhere. If you ever got caught, that was almostcapital punishment. To make the point, when a neighbor’sbarn burned, we went to the barn burning - I mean, when itcaught fire. Dad was a volunteer fireman, so we could getin. We watched. He made the point pretty well.

Am I wrong to speculate that the Lord Himself wasthe light of the ark? Can I give you a little more evidence, before we get to the door? How did Noah get called intothe ark? He said, “Come thou...” (Genesis 7:1). He didn’tsay, “Go thou...” If I say to you, “Come,” it means that Iam in here. Shall I read the verse? Genesis 7:1, And theLORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house intothe ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in thisgeneration. If God has moved in, then that is where Iwant to be. Isn’t it? When the ark is finished, God movedin and I believe He became the light and the source of airto breathe. When the tabernacle was finished, God movedin by a holy fire. Amen? When the sons of God are fin-ished, God is moving in. That is where I want to be. Hal-lelujah! Come thou into the ark. And by the way, when itwas time to leave, how is the word phrased for him toleave? He said to go forth. Genesis 8:16, Go forth of theark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons’ wiveswith thee. So God was still there. He was there beforeNoah came, and He made sure that Noah left before His

presence left the ark. In other words, He called him in,and He sent him out. I think that it is very significant thatHe called him in and sent him out. I guess that is all thatwe have to say about the window.

He said that there was to be a door in the side of theark as well. Okay. So I am going to make a door where Ibelieve it was. I believe I would put a door right here atthe second layer. The door is more than a cubit, by theway. An elephant wouldn’t be able to get through a cubit.I know it is a little confusing, back here in the sixth chap-ter. Genesis 6:16, A window shalt thou make to the ark,and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door ofthe ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, sec-ond, and third stories shalt thou make it. Now notice thatthere is a semi-colon. In other words, it is not a comma, itis a semi-colon before the description: with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it. I don’t believe that thedoor covered all three stories. I believe that the door wasbig enough to accommodate one story. If I were makingit, considering that it were going to be sitting in water, probably about up to at least this 30% point here. I wouldhave made the door above the water line just in case theseal didn’t work or dried up. It also makes a good placefor a gangplank. The door could come down and becomesort of a gangplank. You could set it on a little rise outthere, and then the animals could come in.

Now, another word that Brother Campbell brought wasthat the door is closing. Remember? He said that he sawa great door, and it was only open about like this - justabout enough that we could still squeeze in. If you under-stand what God is saying in this hour… Now we havegone months since this word was brought - I hope that thisword is still true, that the door is still open a little bit andthat there is still time for those that want to come in to thecalling of the sons of God. But it is a narrow door. Re-member? You can barely squeeze into this door. “Be-cause strait is the gate, and narrow is the way…” (Mat-thew 7:14).

You have probably heard me tell the story from timeto time of how I one time had to squeeze in behind someworkstations that we were making. The workstation hadalready been assembled and it was now too heavy to moveor slide, but it was assembled about this far away (about10”) from the wall. Because there was a crossbeam ofsteel that went at an angle behind this thing, we couldn’tput it right directly to the wall the way we usually madethese workstations. I was the one who was leading theconstruction of this big, big workstation, and it had takenus several days to put this all together. It had electricity init, too. And when it came time to plug in the electricity, loand behold, it didn’t work; there was no power. We viewedbehind it and we could see that the electrical pigtail wasnot plugged into the wall behind there - the one little thing

Keeping in Touch November 200631

Page 32: Keeping InTouchpreachingbeyondwords.org/kitbulletin/2006/Nov2006.pdf · Cleaning Crew 4th:Helping Hands 11th: Kate 18th: Paul & Pavlina 25th: Becky Sundays 12th and 26th Monday Nights

that we forgot to do. Being that I was probably the small-est man on the crew, it fell to me to go behind there to plugthis electrical thing in.

Well, I got down on the floor and I began to wiggle myway in. The first thing that I discovered was that nothingin my shirt pocket would fit. I had to take everything outof my pockets. The next thing, I had on a t-shirt and thenanother shirt - the outer shirt had to come off. I thought,“Okay, so far, so good.” I got up to the point of my beltand the belt buckle would not pass through. I didn’t takeany more clothes off, by the way, but I had to take the beltoff. I had to take the wallet out of my pants. The walletwould not fit. Nothing in my pockets would fit, only mybody would fit through this place. I could not take anyextra baggage. Then I got well into there and I discoveredthat I was turned the wrong way, and I would not be ableto do what I needed to do, so I had to go back out and turnthe other way and go in. I finally got the job done, butwhen I came out of there, the Word of the Lord came tome, “Straight is the gate and narrow is the way.” Amen.“And few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:14). I thought,“My God, the way is really straight, and it is really nar-row.” I think that this is a description to the calling ofsonship that God is giving us today. I think the word thatthe brother had [referencing the prophetic word which isincluded in this bulletin] implies a narrow walk, a walkwhere we cannot do our own thing. We cannot bring ourown baggage in. We cannot bring our own opinions. Wecannot bring our own mode of thinking. We cannot bringthe traditions of man and the things like this with us. Wecannot bring the world mindset with us into the Kingdomof God. It will not fit. We can get ourselves in, barely. Arich man will have a difficult time getting in; he has toomuch baggage (Matthew 19:24). Jesus said it is almostimpossible for a man with these kinds of ties to the earthto get in to the Kingdom. They have to be cut or you can’tmake it in.

And so we are talking about a door. Amen. We thinkof the door and there are a number of verses here that speakof a door. First of all, Jesus said in John 10:7, …I am thedoor of the sheep. So if we are going to get into this, whom we are going to have to come in through? ThroughJesus Christ.

You know, I found an interesting thing about Rita’sfather’s description. He didn’t say, “The Lord met me.”He didn’t say, “God met me and made me breakfast.” Hesaid, “Jesus made me breakfast.” Again, it was so out ofthe natural man’s character to be referring to a personalencounter with Jesus. Not the Lord. Not Christ. He calledHim Jesus. There was the knowing of who He was uponhis meeting with Him. I’ll tell you, brethren, if you meetJesus, you are going to know who He is. He won’t have totell you. You won’t have to ask. You will know who He

is. Amen. So if we are going to get into the Kingdom assons of God, we are going to go through Jesus Christ andwe are going to know Him intimately. Hallelujah!

Looking at this door, by the way, let us go back toGenesis 7:15, And they went in unto Noah into the ark,two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.16And they that went in, went in male and female of allflesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shuthim in. Now, another aspect of this door is that we do notcontrol the opening and the closing of this door. Noahmade the door, but he didn’t control it. The door was shutby the LORD. Now I am thinking again of “as in the daysof Noe.” If Noah had shut the door and it began to rainand it began to storm, and there were people that wererepenting on the outside of the ark, here… Yes, I believeon the outer sides of the ark there was repentance goingon. We know that Jesus went and preached to those whohad been disobedient, prior to the time of the flood (I Peter3:19-20). So if He went and preached to them, that meansthat they probably repented and were calling upon the nameof the LORD. So He went to them after His death on thecross - He probably went to them and said, “You werecalling upon My name. I am the one that you were callingfor, and I am going to tell you some things.” And Hepreached the Word to them. “Now if you receive this Word, you can come with Me.” Amen. He brought them out ofthat prison, that portion of hell that they were in. Hepreached to them. There was no point in preaching to themif they couldn’t be saved. So there were people pounding on the sides of the ark. That is what I would have done. If I was anywhere in theneighborhood and it was starting to rain, and the waterwas starting to come up, I would be at that ark: “Noah,Noah! Let me in!” “Noah! Please, Noah! I changed mymind!” “You are not crazy after all, Noah!” “Noah! Irepent! I repent!” “Oh God, please hear me!” If Noahhad heard that and if he had shut the door, he would havebeen obliged to open the door. Remember, these are Noah’snephews, nieces or cousins. By the way, have any of youfollowed the genealogy of the generations before Noah?Did you notice that Noah’s father died 5 years before theflood? Did you know that Methuselah (his grandfather)died the year of the flood? They would have been on board, and I’m wondering about the Lord taking some home inthis hour. I wonder how close we really are. We don’tknow what God is doing. Amen.

So Noah was not allowed… I don’t think that Noahcould even hear the cries of the people. Let me tell youwhy I don’t believe he could hear it. I don’t think youhave any idea what this cataclysmic event was really like. This was not just, “Oh, I think I hear the rain.” No, itwasn’t just that. Genesis 7:11, In the six hundredth yearof Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day

of the month, the same day were all the fountains of thegreat deep broken up, and the windows of heaven wereopened. 12And the rain was upon the earth forty days andforty nights.

But before I get to that, and don’t let me divert fromthis. I want to talk about the timing of his going into theark. Back in verse 4, For yet seven days, and I will causeit to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; andevery living substance that I have made will I destroyfrom off the face of the earth. He gave them a seven-daywarning; he gave them a week of warning. Again, I havedone a lot of thinking about this seven day period, andagain, I thought at first that Noah just went in there and satfor seven days. But as I’m thinking about it again, I’mthinking, no, I don’t think that is what happened. I thinkthat in that seven days he had to get everything in there. Ithink he was busy for seven days getting the animals in. Ibelieve the food was already in there. I think the animalswere rounded up somewhere, and he had to move in, inthat seven-day period of time. I wonder if we are in ourlast seven days, so to speak, spiritually speaking. Time tomove in, time to get moving, brethren! Time to get mov-ing in the WORD that we are hearing and believing! Ifyou hear the Lord saying, “Come thou,” then you may bewithin the seven days and that is a spiritual (not natural)seven days. Yes, seven days of completion.

Now, I want to go down to what was happening in thisevent. Verse 11, In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life,in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deepbroken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. Twoevents were happening simultaneously as far as water isconcerned. Water was coming from above, and water wascoming from beneath. Has anybody seen the video that Ihave? It is made from a television presentation entitled“Encounters With the Unexplained.” I don’t know thename of the host and this program is made from a strictlysecular point of view. He deals quite a bit with the floodand the ark and gives a good bit of evidence in favor of it.In what I am referring to, he quoted a Dr. Walt Brown withwhat I present below. I will draw a little drawing as towhat the man is saying. Here is the earth. You know, inthe Atlantic Ocean, they have what they call the Mid-At-lantic Trench and there is also a Mid-Atlantic mountainridge, all under the sea. And do you know that the Mid-Atlantic Trench and the mountain range goes from Northto South down the wholeAtlantic Ocean? Whatthis man said is that theearth began to unzip inthis location and thatthere were great stores ofwater underneath the

mantle of the earth that God had put it there at creationwhen He separated the earth from the water. He mighthave separated it differently than we think. He might haveseparated it in horizontal layers, rather than just ocean andcontinent. We don’t know. But the earth began to unzipand in this video they are telling that Dr. Brown believesthis unzipping took place at a speed of 2 miles per secondand circumvented the earth in 2 hours. The energy releasedhere was equivalent to thousands or millions of atomicbombs. And that the hemispheric continents were movingat 45 miles an hour away from each other at this happen-ing and when they stopped, mountains were formed. Andthat the water came out of the earth with such violencethat it threw the water right out of the gravitational pull ofthe earth. And he says that this accounts for the cometsand meteors. Do you know that comets are made out offrozen water? Do you know that they find earth type ofdirt inside of some of these comets? Meteorites are like-wise made of frozen mud. And they can’t figure it out - itis unlike anything that they find on the planets. Am Iwrong? Have any of you listened to this? Now, you cansay that it is impossible, look at the energy it takes to pro-pel a rocket to get out of the earth’s gravity. Nevertheless, this tells me something of the violence with which thiswater came forth and the terrible force of destruction thatcame with this judgment.

Now, do you think that Noah was just sitting in the arkand saying, “Well, well, it looks like rain”? You have gotwater rushing across the surface of the earth, coming onlike a tsunami. He might not have been sitting right onthat zipper, but he was sitting somewhere where that wa-ter was going to hit that ark very soon after the terribleshaking of the earth. Soon after the downpour of cloud-bursts began, that ark was going to be hit by somethingthat was going to violently shake that thing. It was goingto move it and toss it about. They would almost think thatthis thing would overturn. I can imagine the beasts in therebellowing and crying out for fear of what is happening. Ican imagine Noah and his sons feeling this horrific move-ment - “Are we going to be turned over? Are we going tosurvive this?” But there is also the knowing that he hadbuilt this thing according to God’s perfect specifications. Those who have examined these dimensions have said thatthis is the most stable thing that you could have on a stormysea. It was not meant to sail by a certain direction. It wassimply meant to float, and to not overturn. Think again,

brethren, of what God isdoing among the sons ofGod and the things weare going to face verysoon.

I’m sorry we havegone so long here, but

there are just a couple of other things that I want to men-tion about the door before we finish. In Luke 13:25, He istalking about the gate again. Luke 13:23, Then said oneunto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he saidunto them… How many were on the ark, many or few?Few! There were few that were saved. Then He says,24Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say untoyou, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. We aretalking about this door again. Call it a gate. Call it a door.Call it whatever you want. It is an entry port, okay? ThenHe goes on in the next verse, and He is talking about theshutting of this door. 25When once the master of the houseis risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin tostand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord,Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say untoyou, I know you not whence ye are: The master is in thehouse. The master is among us, brethren. But He hasn’trisen up yet, has He? We are asking for that visitation. What we are asking is for a revelation that He is here.Amen. When once He is risen up, what is the first thingthat He is going to do? SHUT THE DOOR!

So when there is a door that is shut, there are two sidesto that door. There are those who are shut IN, and thereare those who are shut OUT. He says that there are goingto be those who are shut out who are not going to like theposition that they are in. They are going to realize thatthey have missed something, and they are going to havegreat regret over it. They are going to have their belief asto why they should have been IN. Some of the argumentsthat they are going to give are: 26Then shall ye begin tosay, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thouhast taught in our streets. We have been to church. Wehave heard You. We have eaten and drunk the Word. Wehave heard the Word, and whatever else goes with it. 27Buthe shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are;depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. What doesiniquity mean? It doesn’t just mean that you were a vio-lent thief and a murderer. Iniquity means lawlessness. Ifyou are running your own business, doing your own thing, not according to the instructions of the Lord, you are ininiquity. If you are doing what He wants, you are obedi-ent. Those are the two options.

In another place, you know that passage about the wiseand foolish virgins (Matthew 25:1-13). So at midnight, the cry was made, and those that were ready entered in.There again the cry is being made. I believe that the cry isbeing made in this hour, in this time, in this season, breth-ren. We are hearing the cry that we are to go out and meetthe Lord. We are to go out of ourselves and come in untoHim. Out of self! Out of flesh! “The end of ALL FLESHhas come before me!” So let’s come out of all flesh, breth-ren! Let’s come out of all humanity! Let’s come out ofthese natural man excuses and let’s come in to the spiri-

tual place in the Lord. Okay?He says that those that were ready went IN and that

those that were not ready discovered that they were lack-ing. They didn’t have the oil. They didn’t have the Spiritflowing in them; it wasn’t functioning in their souls. Mat-thew 25:10, And while they went to buy, the bridegroomcame; and they that were ready went in with him to themarriage: and the door was shut. There is the shutting ofthe door again. 11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12But he answered andsaid, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Again, Hegives them the word, “I know you not.” Knowing you notdoesn’t mean that He doesn’t know about you. He knowseverything. It means, “I don’t have an intimate knowingrelationship with you. I don’t have an ongoing commun-ion with you. I don’t have a personal spiritual intercourseof communion with you, in a very intimate manner.” Amen. That is what it means. Amen. Hallelujah!

There is one final word on the door, and I will take youto that and you can chew on this, for what it is worth. ButI saw this some time back and I want to share it with you.It is in Revelation 15. Do you know that Revelation 15has got to be the shortest chapter in Revelation? Thereonly 8 verses and we don’t usually hear much quoted fromRevelation chapter 15. But let me give you a couple ofquotes. We are looking at the scene here that is before thethrone of God. We are talking about the song of Moses,“Great and marvelous are Thy works. Who shall not fearthee, oh Lord?” I mean, this is what is going on before thethrone of God. Now, verse 5, And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimonyin heaven was opened: What does that mean? It meansthat the door was opened. In this position of praise andworship and giving honor and glory to the Lord, he saw anopen tabernacle. Remember, we are making a compari-son of the ark of Noah to the tabernacle. And then the nextthing that we see is, 6And the seven angels came out ofthe temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure andwhite linen, and having their breasts girded with goldengirdles. 7And one of the four beasts gave unto the sevenangels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, wholiveth for ever and ever. We are at the point now wherethe wrath of God is about to be poured out. We are at thepoint where great tribulation is about to begin. We are atthe point where the destruction in “as in the days of Noe”was just about to commence. What was the last thing thathappened? God shut the door before the destruction hit.8And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory ofGod, and from his power; and no man was able to enterinto the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angelswere fulfilled. What is this? This is the presence of God,isn’t it? The shekinah glory of God was in this place.

Determining My Destiny

Keeping in Touch November 200635

By Oliver Capcik

I am very thankfulto the Lord for the past three

months. I was able to come from Slovakia,Europe, where I was born, to help at the farmin Illinois. I can testify to God’s goodness

and to God’s plan with my life. Most of us knowthat the farm is run by the brethren and that the Lord hasspoken to us as a church to build and take care of it. So itis a very good environment to be put into. It was in thebeginning of this year when I started to think about goingto the farm for the summer. The intention was just to comefor a month or so to help and see the brethren here, go tothe conference and go back to Europe. But the Lord de-cided to make a major change in my life that caused me tobe here for over three months now. This is my Mahomettestimony.

I think it would be good to start a couple of years agoto bring the context. At the Jamaica conference in 2004, Idecided to give all my future to the Lord. I was very up-lifted, filled with the joy of the Lord, wanting to go and dowhat the Lord wanted me to do, and most of all wanting togo to be a missionary. At that time, I surrendered all mycollege and career plans that I had, and laid them all downbefore the cross for the cause of the Kingdom. I just wantedto spend my time with my heavenly Father and please Him.I had been praying that my foremost desire would be toplease Him, love Him with all of my heart, all of my might, and all of my strength. I knew that this was what Godintended when He made man, to have a son whom Hewould walk with and talk with to have fellowship withHim. Not one who would only receive, but who wouldwant to give and whose heart would be fully compatiblewith God’s, being delighted when the Father’s heart is,being sad when the Father’s heart is. This is what I under-stood from Brother duCille’s teachings. I had been hear-ing it for many years before, but in Jamaica I decided thatI was going to live it. I know now today that Jesus likedthat offer, but at the time I didn’t have a clue what kind ofcontract I had signed.

As my final year in high school passed by, I was fight-ing to keep my focus on that destiny while I was tellingeveryone around me about my plan to have no plans formy life. I started to realize how hard it was to keep myfocus on God in the midst of all the worldly noise. I wasgoing to a public high school with no specialization. Ev-erything that my school was preparing me for was a higher

form of education. Everyone wasexpected to go to college. When I madethat covenant with God in Jamaica, I real-ized that I couldn’t waste my time. I couldn’tleave any slack for the devil, because He would use it.The devil is smart. I remember one brother telling me thisstory about demons having a meeting one day. Satan wouldask his princes and devils what is going to be their plan onhow they were going to hurt Christians. They wanted tobe efficient. One demon came up with a strategy of tellingChristians that God does not exist. Satan didn’t like thatone because he thought that nobody or, actually, not toomany, would believe it. A second devil came with the ideaof persuading the people of God that God exists, but Hedoesn’t care for them. Again, Satan thought it was tooweak a weapon to use. Finally, a demon came up with anidea: God exists and loves man and that man has plenty oftime. Satan liked that one. So when I was consideringgoing to a university, I talked with the elders in the Bodyand consequently I decided not to go to a university tocontinue on with my education. Out of 36 classmates, Iwas the only one not to go to a university. Nonsense! Inorder to apply to study at the high school I attended, youhave to be at the top of your class from first grade to fourthgrade and then take an examination. There were around300 applicants from all over and around 45 were accepted.I attended eight years at one of the best high schools inSlovakia, being an above-average student, and I was notgoing to college. That was the craziest idea! Amen, weare to be crazy in the eyes of the world. You would notbelieve how many people ask you about your future planswhen you tell them you are in your final grade. And howmany liked my plans? None!

In June 2005, when I finished high school, I knew theLord was telling me to come to the farm in Illinois for thesummer and help at the farm. When I came here, the Lordreally began to show me the importance of submitting tothe circumstances I was put in not just doing what thepeople around me told me, but being able to appreciate allof the things that came my way, knowing that they wereworking out the plan of God for the very time I was in. Inot only had to listen and obey the words of the peoplewho were over me, but also believe that I was put undertheir authority by God and believe in them. I didn’t find iteasy to submit, especially when I thought my idea or waywould be better, easier, and make more sense. God often

Page 36: Keeping InTouchpreachingbeyondwords.org/kitbulletin/2006/Nov2006.pdf · Cleaning Crew 4th:Helping Hands 11th: Kate 18th: Paul & Pavlina 25th: Becky Sundays 12th and 26th Monday Nights

uses ways that I am not capable of comprehending, andthey don’t seem logical to me when I look with my naturaleyes (I Corinthians 1:27). It was crucial for me to knowthat the Lord wants the best for me and He comes to bring, not to take things away from me. I am very thankful to thebrethren who were helping me overcome, I appreciate theirpatience with me. :) When I was leaving to go home toSlovakia last year, I knew the Lord was really workingwith me to bring me toward that position that I decided toachieve.

When I returned from America, I got a job in an insur-ance company as a salesman. The beginning was a littleslow, but as the time passed by I learned enough about thebusiness to start becoming successful. At the end of 2005,I was chosen for a New Year’s celebration as one of thetop 20% in the company. In March 2006, I qualified asone of the 400 best among 5000 agents to go to Wiennaceremonial conference. The insurance company I wasworking for is one of the largest in the world and the big-gest in Slovakia. After seven or eight months of working Iwas able to make more money than the college graduateswould if they started working. I was one of a very fewpeople who got to meet the president of the company. So,one day, when the sales people had a petition to give tohim of around 400-500 signatures, I was the one to deliverhim the petition. After I delivered the petition, we talkedabout my business, and he told me that anytime I neededanything, I could come to him. He also said that if I keptworking good, we would make a career together. Thatwas a very generous offer that started to build plans in mymind. I started to think that the Lord wanted me to buildmy career in the insurance company and that He reallyblessed me with getting to meet the president. I started adistance learning university program in management. Af-ter work I would study, do my projects, and communicatewith my teachers via e-mail. Around April I started tothink about going to the farm for the summer again. Con-sidering my job situation, I thought a month spent at thefarm would be enough. Then I talked to Brother Burt Asbillabout it and his idea was a little different than mine. “Hewants me to come for three months. Oh, my!” So, I startedto pray about it and asked some brethren for advice and Idecided to come for almost three months.

In June I came to the farm and started to work with thebrethren. I knew that the Lord had given the Body a Wordto build and work at the farm, and I knew that I was tocontribute and that I am going to give account for what Ihave done with the calling. I wanted to be a profitableservant with my talents. Meanwhile, I wanted to conductmy business from overseas as good as possible and I wouldcontinue when I returned. But guess what? God spoke,“You should stay here.” “Oh, come on, that is not pos-sible, I have a job that you gave me, Lord.” The next day

He said, “I want you to stay here.” “Oh, no... this mightreally be the Lord.” So, after a week I told the Lord thatHe could keep me wherever He wanted me to be and Iwould submit. The next day I was offered a job by onebrother. “Lord, I thought that overcoming was like, Youknow, when You asked Abraham for Isaac, but You nevertook him. I didn’t know You really wanted me to stayhere.” The Lord simply reminded me, “What about thatcovenant that you want to sacrifice everything in order tobecome a son?” In Jamaica, I gave the Lord my future, but it was easy to give everything when I didn’t have any-thing. So the Lord put me into an environment where Ihad a prospect for being very successful. High life stan-dard, high above standard wages, etc. And then He calledme out.

I realized the Lord really wanted me to stay here, but Iwas still planning on going to the Czech conference. ThenI talked to some brethren and they were not sure about thatidea either. “Come on, not even a Czech conference? Iwill come back after a month.” I had to fight it a lot andfound out that I had to lay that down, also. The devil wantedto take my time that I needed to spend here. I am notsaying that the Czech conference is not good, but it wasnot the right time for me. (See I Corinthians 6:12.) TheLord told me that I have a calling on my life, but if I amnot going to do what is expedient, I am not going to re-ceive the fullness of that calling. And I want it.

Finally, I’ve been realizing that if I am in the placewhere God wants me to be, I could still miss His perfectwill. The Lord told me not to expect anything. He is Godand I am not! He knows what conditions are the best forme and I have to believe. I have to support the Lord’scircumstances that He puts in my life, not to work con-trary, not to kick against the pricks. I can drive out all theenemies of my soul when I am submitted unto God andresisting the devil. And I have to do more than what Ithink are my limitations in the situation I am put into. Psalm31:15 says that our times are in the Lord’s hand. My timeis managed by Him and He is more than able to take careof it. I am not. I can not press Him to change my circum-stances. Expecting things works contrary to His plan. When I think something has to be a certain way, I usuallyget disappointed because it’s not. When I am disappointed,I will not be satisfied with the conditions God has arrangedfor me and I will not rejoice and be glad. That will bringme into disrespecting the environment I am in and that isthe final state where I lose the blessing.

The Lord is so very good to me. He keeps encourag-ing me that I can make it and He works in the midst of mycircumstances so I can hold His hand and together we canmake it to the end. And we will. Praise the Lord! Also, one more thing. It is great to be here in Mahomet with allof the brethren. I appreciate all of you, what you havedone for me. God bless you!

Dear Brethren,The following are excerpts from

a recently received detailed report ofthe ongoing work in Kenya by BrotherAbarijah and Sister Rachel Kinnogah. This industrious couple and their fam-ily have been spearheading the workin Kenya for several years which trulyneeds our diligent prayers and the fullsupport of the Body of Christ at thistime. About the ministry work,Brother Kinnogah writes:

MINISTRY UPDATEBy the grace of God,

There are a total of 32 fellowshipscountry wide, 6 in urban centers andthe rest in the rural. Transport to mostof the latter is hectic, yet the Lordgrants us grace to reach them withthe love that only He provides. Whenout in these areas, communication isdifficult or scarce; where there’s net-

work, only cell phones function. Thisis an expensive mode. On July 24,2006, I had to spend the night in theopen having walked 28 km in dark-ness after visiting some of theseblessed places to encourage the breth-ren; there was no means of transportby the time we said the closing prayerand walked to the “main road.” Yes,though I got home very tired the fol-lowing morning, the joy and sense offulfillment was immense. Please prayfor me and the brethren that the Lordwould grant unto us the grace to com-mit more sacrificially to His course, seeing that time is seriously not onour side given the amount of work thatis yet to be completed. I am remindedof an old sister who, having nothingto offer to God, asked for the offeringbasket and got into it - all she hadwas herself! I echo the words of asinger, “…all to Jesus I surrender, all

to Him I freely give, I will love Him,serve and trust Him…” We hear di-vine bidding that we move to yet an-other area by October 2006. Please, brethren, pray over this commissionas the Lord leads you.

After several years of intensespiritual warfare, a building has beenerected in Mombassa (a city in Kenyalocated right on the Indian Ocean)where approximately a hundred breth-ren meet for services. The buildingitself sits on a hill lodged in the midstof the town where several of the breth-ren simply walk up the hill to wor-ship, sometimes every day of theweek. The government, under thestipulation that a school would be theprimary function of the building, granted the land and the permissionto build a church. After several yearsof neverending obstacles, bureau-cratic red tape, and contending withthe Islamic spirit in both neighborsand City Council members, the deedof the land and the building has beenpermanently signed over to the breth-ren. Praise be to our Great Provider,Jesus Christ! However, since thebuilding was not yet completed andall the school requirements set downby the School Board were not yet met,the brethren received only a tempo-rary permit to run the school. Wheninsufficient progress was sited by theSchool Board, the school’s permit wasrevoked and the school was shut down

in 2005. After much prayer and thesupport of the Body of Christ at large, the temporary permit was againgranted and the school reopened inJanuary of 2006.

Brethren, we are on the verge ofa great physical and spiritual break-through in Mombassa where a perma-nent school permit is within our grasp! This would be the completion of along drawn out war that consisted ofmany battles. One of the final battleswas getting water up the hill for thebathrooms and other needed func-tions. To drill a well proved to be costprohibitive. However, a plan has beenconstructed and approved by theSchool Board where water would bepumped to a 10,000 liter holding tank, only to be pumped to two higher el-evation 6,000 liter holding tanks fordistribution on the premises. Thisplan proved to be much less expen-sive than any of the other proposedplans. Praise be to God! By faith, the brethren have given the go aheadto the Water and Sewer Authority tocommence work the end of August. The cost of the water project is pro-jected at approximately $4,500. Weare happy to report that through gen-erous gifts from brethren to the Mis-sionary Fund, the need has been metand the funds are being sent. Wethank God for His faithfulness. Thisis indeed a miracle and a much-needed answer to prayer.

Finally, to complete all the addi-tional requirements set down by theSchool Board, which includes finish-ing the work on the bathrooms, com-pleting the playground and landscap-ing, finishing the security fencing, andassociated fees, the total is $3,900.$650 has already been received, leav-ing a needed balance of $3,250. Weare thanking the Lord that we are soclose to completing this project. Weare asking the brethren to consider asacrificial offering to complete thiswork in Kenya for brethren who have

so little but have given all on the fieldof labor.

Finally, I am enclosing somewords from Brother Kinnogah, thatyou may know how to pray more spe-cifically for the brethren there and hisfamily.

1. The fellowship in Mombassahas dropped from about 120 to 90+;many have had to relocate due to em-ployment. The Lord seems to be re-leasing a kind of freshness in the midstof enormous opposition. He is ma-turing His people. We bless His name.

2. Please remember SisterRachel, my wife, in your prayers-ithasn’t been easy for her, though shehas borne with such courage! Ourchildren are fine by God’s grace. Job,our first son, is at home; we could nottake him to college but trust God forway out. Joses comes back fromUganda on the 11th of August. Edu-cation is more manageable in Ugandathan Kenya.
