ASBESTOS, CONSTRUCTION & DEMOLITION (C&D) & HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE (HHW): Asbestos and Construction and Demolition waste can be disposed of for a fee at the following disposal sites:City of CanningLot 502 Ranford Rd, Canning Vale – 9231 0716
City of Cockburn – Henderson Waste Recovery Park920 Rockingham Road, Henderson – 9411 3444These sites also accept domestic quantities of Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) – no more than 20kg/ltrs.
CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS: Many household items in good working order can be repurposed or donated to charity:
• Clothing and other household items – can be donated to charity, for more information visit www.GIV.org.au
• Towels and Sheets – can be donated to the Cat Haven alongside a number of other items. Visit www.cathaven.com.au for more information
E-WASTE Items such as computers, printers, TV’s, mobile phones and other electrical devices can be:
• Dropped off at the City of Melville’s E-waste and Residential RecyclingDropOffDays,whichtakeplacefivetimesperyear
• Placed out on your next bulk collection, separate to other bulk waste items as the e-waste will be recycled

MEDICAL WASTE Medical or biohazardous waste should never be put in any bin. Please check with your health care provider as to the correct method for disposal.
RECYCLING DROP OFF STATIONS: The City of Melville has 3 recycling drop off stations for items such as household batteries, light globes, mobile phones and printer cartridges. Visit www.melvillecity.com.au/waste for drop-off locations.
