TwoGreen Thumbs Garden Club Meeting - Monday, November 14th at 6:30 pm. Discipleship Team Meeting - Tuesday, November 15th at 7:00 pm in the Parlor. Finance Committee Meeting - Tuesday, November 15th at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. American Legion Meeting - Tuesday, November 15th at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. Weathers/Knight Circle - Thursday, November 17th at 10:00 am in the Conference Room. Deacon’s Meeting - Sunday, November 20th at 6:00 pm in the Conference Room. Upward Scholarships - If anyone, or a Sunday School class, is interested in helping provide scholarship funds for Upward at $70.00 per individual, please include it with your offering and mark your offering envelope “Upward Scholarship.” Please know that this is a very rewarding experience for young children in our community and your funds will help provide someone with the experience they might not receive otherwise. Candy Canes Needed - There will be a Candy Cane Hunt on Sunday, December 11th at 9:45 am. Many candy canes are needed for this hunt! This year we are asking for red and white candy canes, but they can be any size. If you can help, please leave your candy cane donations in the Conference Room. Thank you! New Carpet for the Church Offices and Conference Room - Properties has looked into putting new carpet in the office areas with the money that was raised recently. However, they are still short about $500.00. If anyone would like to make a donation to help, please include it in your offering envelope and mark it “carpet.”

Mary Hudson says, “I am overwhelmed with all the love and concern shown me during the illness and death of my sister. Many, many thanks. I am equally as thankful for the many expressions of concern from so many of you for my son, Jim, who is recuperating from an accident and later blood clots. There is nothing to compare with good Christian friends.” The card is on the bulletin board in the Education Building.
