Karnataka state:

1)

For a notification of 100 posts of assistant engineer

Only 13 posts were given for pure GM

2) Similarly for lecture in civil engineering

Out of 153 posts only 21.

Simillarly for kas 2011 notification seen below

AcRevenue , Total seats= 20; General pure category gets = 2

Ac Sad, Total seats= 15; General pure category gets = 1

Executive Officer , Total seats= 60; General pure category gets = 3

And so on .

Simillarly for a total of 362 posts in KAS 2011 notificationpure General merit category gets =36posts

This adds up to Less than 9% now with addition of H-K region quota,,,,, compared with what general students get in other states because supreme court guidelines for Horizontal and vertical reservation together should not exceed 50% not being followed

GM students are being harassed by this reservation policy

No IAS officer in DPAR has ever brought it to the government notice that this reservation policy is against Merit

The department of public instructions is blaming it on old reservation polcy being followed in THE STATE

Also when H-K region quota is added students pure General merit students get 6% of total posts notified
