I believe what she has proposed is more than reasonable, and it is my understanding that if you sign the papers the remainder of the process will be fairly easy and straightforward for me. I write to you tonight asking that you demonstrate your willingness to accept the consequences of your actions by signing the papers quickly so that I will be able to have closure in regards to the nightmare you have put me through by inducing me to marriage in such a fraudulent fashion. You and I both know that I have the biblical and legal grounds to obtain an annulment. When information began to come to light in Asia, you personally expressed your understanding that I had biblical grounds to leave you on more than one occasion. And since your return to the U.S., I know you have admitted these truths to mutual friends of ours as well. This demands the question as to why you and your attorney have attempted to make this process so difficult for me. I reached out to you for a meeting after you were informed of the petition for annulment in order to be able to discuss how we might go about this process in the most civil way possible. You refused to meet with me or talk to me at all. Instead, through your attorney you have repeatedly offered your cooperation only in exchange for me being willing to sign a “confidentiality agreement” rendering me unable to speak about the nature of your fraud in the future without opening myself up to the possibility of a lawsuit. You have even gone so far as to threaten to file your own counterpetition for annulment on the basis of abject lies about me if I do not go along with what would essentially be a gag order. These actions clearly beg the question of whether you are truly walking in genuine confession or repentance. If you have nothing left to hide, why do you seem to be so afraid of the information that I have? Given that I am not willing to sign a gag order, you seem to be willing to do everything in your power to drag this process out and make it as difficult as possible. I understand that you are receiving your legal counsel free of charge from Randall Reed, the member of The Village Church who you are currently living with. I wonder if the fact that I am paying for my legal counsel while you are receiving yours for free is not part of what is motivating you to do this. Perhaps you hope that I will become so burdened by the ongoing expense and so desperate for closure that I will give in to your demand rather than having to wait until my attorney is able to schedule a trial date with the Court.

Regardlessofyourmotives,Iimploreyoutosignthepapersandallowmetomoveonwithmylife.Ibelievethatifthereisanypartofyouthatevertrulycaredformeatall,thiswouldbetheleastyouwouldbewillingtodo.AndIamcertainlynotaloneinthinkingthatyourdecisiontoattempttobullyandcoercemeinthiswayevidencesalackofgenuinerepentance.ThoseIhavespokenwithfeelthatatrulyrepentantmanwouldbefarmoreconcernedwithhowhecanmakethisrightthanhowhecanprotecthimself.

Steve,Matt,andRichard,IamcopyingyouonthisemailtoimploreyoutorequireJordanandhisattorney,whoarebothmembersingoodstandingofyourchurch,toceasetheirongoingattemptstobullyandcoercemeinregardstotheannulment.YouclaimtounderstandthatIamavictiminthissituationandhavesaidthatyoucaredeeplyformyplight,butyouhaveallowedJordanandRandalltocontinuetovictimizemeinshamefulways.ItisobviouslyinJordansbestinterestforhimtoatleastpretendtobewalkinginsubmissiontoyourauthority,soIurgeyoutousethepoweryouhavetoadvocateformebycounselinghimtosignthepapersquickly.
