Principal’s report:
Respect Week begins on 23 November and runs until 30 November. The Action
Awareness Group (TAAG) of Wagga Wagga is running this event to highlight
the need to respect all people., that the way we act can have a profound impact
on those around us. At school this week we will be speaking to the students about
the need to respect all people and how they can show that respect.
We have a box in our office for donations of food items and toys to the St
Vincents de Paul Society to assist with families in need at this time of the year.
Any non-perishable food items or toys are gratefully received. The society will
be collecting from the school in early December so we would appreciate
donations by the end of this month.
Active After School continues on Monday with 3-6 playing golf at the Country
Club on the 18th November (today), returning to school at approximately
4.45pm and on Thursday K-2 will continue to participate in ball games. For both
of these activities having a water bottle and hat is essential with our current warm
weather.
On Thursday (21 November) we have a special orientation for all of the children
at KEEC. This is to ensure that all children who attend KEEC beginning school
next year with some experience of a school setting before they start, even if they
are going interstate.
Enjoy your week.
