Given the city’s natural half-way location in the geographical center of the United States, coupled with the lack of road or rail congestion issues, it has been an optimal location to effectively use rail, truck, air and inland waterway. There are plans already in motion to add millions of square feet of distribution space to the greater Kansas City metro area in the next few years. The development is designed to serve West Coast, East Coast, or NAFTA corridors via air, rail, truck, inland waterway.
