The main speech was given by comrade Khieu Sampan, the President of Democra- tic Kampuchea. So much for Vietnam's lies . The people of Kampuchea are fighting a struggle for the survival of their nation, and their right to self-determination . Furthermore the y are in the frontline resisting Soviet expansionism and their struggle is of great importance to the world strug- gle. Not surprisingl y they have received massive international support . LETTER FROM CPK Recently the Revolutionary Communist League (RCL) received a letter from the external relations committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Part y of Kampuchea (CPK) which was sent on instruc- tions by the Ce ntral Committee, and its Secretary comr ade Pol Pot. The lette r is sent in appreciation of the many messages of solidar it y and active sup port for the Kampuchean people from around the wor l d. For the benefit of. workers and other revo luti on- ary and progressive people in Britain, who have stood by the Kampuchean people, we reprint extracts below. The lett er starts by expressing "the deep and sincere thanks of the CPK, the government of Demo- c ratic Kampuchea, the people and the Kampuc hean Revolutionary Army, and their respect fo r your spirit of international solidarity" . The letter condemns "the Vietnamese regional expansio nis ts, supported by their masters, the Soviet international expansionists',' who are "inten- sifying their war of aggression in Kampuc hea ."
