We got on base and took our leads…
And occasionally stole a base or two…
And, of course, we scored some runs…
Our pitchers pitched…
Our catcher caught some outside pitches and picked up foul balls…
Our infielders paid attention to the plays being called…
Our outfielders ran hard for the ball…
And our coaches were great teachers…
They taught us the basics of softball…
But best of all, we made friends and had fun…
And we became closer as a team…
We grew closer than being just teammates, but instead grew to be…
FAMILYA
No matter how many wins or losses we had as teammates this season…
we will ALWAYS be friends.
