BTEC LEVEL 2 – FACTUAL ASSIGNMENT - RESEARCH
TASK 1:
In pairs take a camera and practice creating shots that show some element of Juxtaposition
Take 3 photos each
TASK 2 :
a. Come back to class and download your photos onto your mac
b. Start a new post called: ‘Juxtaposition - Street Photography Research ‘
c. Create a PowerPoint called Juxtaposition
Slide 1 – write the meaning of the term juxtaposition – find an example image to demonstrate and put this on your slide.
Slide 2 – list the elements that could create a juxtaposed image (difference in age, height … etc)
Slide 4 – find another image from Internet search (caption the photographer)– You can use one of the pictures on your handout (they are on the Moodle page). Answer the following .1.What is the content of the photo (who and what is pictured)?2.What point-of-view or message is conveyed by the photo?
Slide 4 – load your own photos onto your PowerPoint – answer the following ‘ how do your images demonstrate juxtaposition.
d. Load your Powerpoint onto the blog post that you have just created. You will need to use Slideshare and the login is [email protected] - password Media871
