What is Juxtaposition

Juxtaposition is where there are two opposites in one photo for example a young athletic man and an old fragile woman.This is a perfect example of Juxtaposition because it is an old women and a young girl so they are opposite in age and appearance

Elements that could create a Juxtaposed image

There are many elements that could create a Juxtaposed photo for example difference in:1. Height 2. Age3. Skin Colour 4. Hair Colour 5. Build 6. Mood 7. Social Class8. Health 9. Clothing Colour There are many elements that could create a juxtaposed photo but this is just some.

There are two buildings in the photo one a very modern building which is The Shard, The shard is a brand new building made out of glass and then the other building is an old traditional building made out of brick.

This pictures shows a contrast of modern and historical, in two eras
