Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $2,000.00 for information leading tothe arrest of the person or persons responsible for the murder of 14 year old Karen Lee Ann Caughlin,whose battered body was found on March 16, 1974, in a shallow ditch, on a back road in EnniskillenTownship (outside the town of Petrolia, Ont.)
Karen had been at Rose Gardens Roller Rink with friends and at approximately midnight was droppedoff at a girlfriend's house on Brock Street where she was to spend the night. This is where the trail goescold. Karen never went inside the house.The police know that Karen's killer(s) drove a 1970-1971 purple Chrysler high performance vehicle. Factorypaint known as “Plum Crazy.”
