June was a month where North Sea Shipowners had to tackle low rates (PSVs dayrate averages were up on last month but down on the same period last year whilst AHTS dayrates saw a marginal improvement on May’s levels but again this was down on the same period last year). Despite this Charterers were not having a ball either as the oil price saw a significant fall. However, activity levels in the North Sea continue to kick on and whilst the rates may at present be foul to Shipowners we may very well see a second half summer bounce-back before full time is called upon 2012...

Seabrokers Group was established in 1982. We work in the areas of shipbroking, development and facility management of property, radar based sea tracking, man-free decks and Entrepreneur Services.
