Tradition An A.A. group ought never endorse,

enterprise, lest problems of money, property and

prestige divert us from our primary purpose.

Concept The Conference recognizes that the chief initiative and active responsi-bility in most World Service matters should be exercised by the Trustee Members of the Conference acting

as the General Service Board.

June Newsletter 2020

Many Zoom Meetings are now accepting 7th Tradition contributions to pay for their Zoom subscriptions and to dis-tribute to the various areas of A.A. service. If you attend Zoom meetings that are not collecting for the 7th Tradition,

please consider supporting your Central Office individually. We have a PayPal link on the website home page for di-rect digital donations. Please consider this to help us retain as much of our Prudent Reserve as we can during this

time when many regular meetings must reduce or suspend their support. Of course, regular checks can be sent via Postal Mail as well. Our April Financials were -$4460.00.

With so many inquiries to Central Office regarding how to keep the 7th Tradition, please note

the following:

ZOOM is now requiring your group's zoom meetings to have passwords to secure your meetings. Please email your meeting password to [email protected], so that we may update the remote meetings list on our a ainlandempire.org website "home page." Also, please communicate this message to others. Thank you.

After Hours

Central Office and I would like to extend an immense gratitude to all of our After Hours Volunteers who, in normal times, but especially in this pandemic time, have continued to do an outstanding job in helping newcomers, middle timers and old timers find their way into staying connected, helping them into ZOOM, connecting to another member just to talk, and keeping AA live, personal and always OPEN via the Hot Line! THANK YOU!! I would like to name them: Angeles, Kristina, Gerald (who take 3-4 shifts per month), Martha, AJ, Diane (all Saturday mornings & a weekday night), Lynn (all Tuesdays 8-4, plus her regular commitment), Debbe (who will continue after she moves to Ha-waii!), Dave (has 5-6 regular days/nights), Jeff, Amy, Wilson, Debra (2-3 days), Elizabeth, Denisa, Glen, Jeri, Valerie (long distant volunteers), Ann, Sylvia, Will H., Michael, Connie (long distant volunteers), Doug, Julie, Jen and the Intergroup ladies, Juanita, Craig (extra-long shift each month), Carl and Darnell. Patti continues to answer the phones every Friday, only from home, and of course Carolyn, whose help and support we couldn't do without!! I would like to mention that their attitudes are spectacular!!!! THANK YOU ALL for a job well done...up and beyond the call of duty!!

☎ In service and love,

Lisa -- ~~be the light that helps others see~~
