medio de Nigeria, y el gobierno está haciendo muy poco para detenerlos, según un obispo decidido a defender a su pueblo asustado. ISLAMIST nomadic herdsmen are waging a violent campaign to eradicate Christianity from Nigeria’s Middle Belt region – and the Government is doing very little to stop them – according to a bishop determined to speak up for his frightened people. Describing attacks in the Middle Belt that have left up to 100 Christians dead this year alone, Bishop Wilfred Chikpa Anagbe of Makurdi went on to accuse unknown sources of funding the militant Fulani with “sophisticated weapons”.
The bishop’s comments come as reports emerge that on Monday (28th May) Fulani extremists carried out a gun attack on the Sacred Heart Minor Seminary in Jalingo diocese, wounding one priest and beating up another priest. Bishop Anagbe said: “There is a clear agenda – a plan – to
Islamize all of the areas that are currently predominantly Christian in the so-called Middle Belt of Nigeria.” Bishop Anagbe said 11 parishes in his diocese had come under fresh attacks from militant Fulani, with other violence taking place all over Benue state where, he said, 99 percent of the population are Christian. In an especially vicious attack, the bishop described how two priests and at least 17 parishioners were killed when extremists struck during early morning Mass last month (April) at Saint Ignatius’s parish, Makurdi diocese.

ARE YOU HOLY?
In his new apostolic exhortation Gaudete et Exsultate ("Rejoice and Be Glad"), Pope Francis reminds us that the Lord “wants us to be saints and not to settle for a bland and mediocre existence." "The important thing is that each believer discern his or her own path, that they bring out the very best of
themselves, the most personal gifts that God has placed in their hearts."
But common to all forms of holiness must be a deep special love for the vulnerable and poor — near and far. Pope Francis writes that the various miseries experienced by countless human beings should cause Christians to feel "a constant and healthy unease" that should inspire us to deeply pray and tirelessly work to help all those who suffer.
This love must be passionate, consistent and unconditional. It cannot exclude anyone, not even our enemies.

(grados 2-3)
11:30 AM Orientación de Preparación de Comunión (grados 4-8)
2:00 PM Orientación de Preparación de Confirmación (debe de tener 14 desde el 1 de Abril de este año)
FEES FOR REGISTERED PARISHIONERS: Preparación de Comunión para (grados 2-8) = $80
Confirmación de Jóvenes (Preparatoria) = $200 incluye el Retiro
Alumnos de la Preparatoria que todavía les falta la Comunión será un adición de $50 ya que asistirán al programa de
Eucaristía y cubre el costo del libro
Los espacios están limitados y solo a los que lleguen preparados se les dará el espacio.
