Sunday Morning Worship Buddy Johnson
Sunday Evening Worship Jann Cupp
GOOD NEWS
We want to welcome two new members into our church family! On Sun-day afternoon, Gary and Joy Bodenstein met with the elders and placed membership. Gary and Joy have been worshiping with us for a couple of years now. Gary is retired from the Department of Energy in Oak Ridge, TN and currently serves with the Veterans Honor Guard. Joy is retired from the Putnam County Board of Educa-tion. Some of you will remember that Joy and her children Jamie and Lee were members here in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Please wel-come Gary and Joy when you see them at worship!
Our children and teens are excited to go to Short Mountain next week (June 18-23) for our annual week of church camp! We have 252 campers and adults signed up so far. It’s going to be a great week! Please pray for our children and teens while they are away. Camp is the highlight of their summer.
GUEST PREACHER
On Sunday morning, June 25, Dan Gulley will be our guest preacher. Dan is the preacher at the Smithville Church of Christ in Smithville, TN where he has served for the past 21 years. Dan received his training at the former Williamstown Bible College in West Virginia in 1979. Dan and his wife Donna have two sons: Caleb and Josh-ua. We will have a combined adult bible class on June 25 at 9 a.m. and worship at 10 a.m. Please make plans to be here for this spe-cial day of worship.
June 18—23 See Collins Corner for a list of items
to bring to camp.
Remember all campers and counselors next week as they assemble upon the
mountain to worship and learn more of our God.
