VACATION BILBLE SCHOOL “CATHLETICS”, Training to be Champions for Christ! Registration is now open for Vacation Bible School (VBS) for children in the 1st through 5th grade for the 2021 - 2022 school year. VBS will be held at the St. Jude Hall on July 19 -23, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Registration is limited to only 35 children this year, so please register early at the church office to guarantee your spot. Meetings for grieving parents Coping with the death of a child is very difficult. Parents are in a place they have never been before, often overwhelmed by the grief that follows. Grief does not end in a prescribed number of days, weeks, months or years. We are a group of parents who have lost a child, and will walk this grief journey with you whether your loss is recent or in the past. Monthly meetings take place from 6:30-8pm at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 108 S. 6th Street, Ganado. Upcoming meeting dates are July 13 & August 10. Registration is free. Meetings include the opportunity to pray, listen to presentations by clergy and other parents who have lost a child, and meet others on the grief journey. Participants are not required to share anything, and may just remain silent and listen if they'd like.

Cooking Well with Diabetes Do you or someone you love have diabetes? Are you struggling with cooking for someone with diabetes? Karen Lyssy with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension will be having a free class called “Cooking Well with Diabetes” at the Calhoun County Senior Citizen’s Center (2104 W.
