December 2009 CIC Conference Call Recap The following is a summary of the topics that were discussed on the December 2, 2009 CIC Conference Call. Time Matters v10 SP1 Update

• First, a “Thank You!” to those CICs who have helped with the testing of SP1• 150 defects have been corrected with this release. Release Notes are available on the

service center• On Wednesday of last week, during the CIC pre-release period, an issue was discovered

in testing that caused Time Matters 10 to crash when creating new Billing Preferences (NOTE: this issue was with SP1 only, not the initial v10 release)

• The issue has been corrected, tested and will be included in the final release build (an upgrade path is provided from both the CIC pre-release a couple of weeks ago and the CIC build of last week)

DEC 04 – PCLaw – “Law Firm In A Box” business letter mailer going to 32,000 new customer prospects in firms with 1 – 5 attorneys

DEC 11 – Time Matters – “Start The New Year RIGHT” post card mailer going to 13,000 new customer prospects in firms sized 6 – 50 attorneys

DEC 16 - QuickBooks Software vs. Legal Industry Accounting Software webinar with Caren Schwartz of 7 Second System

Discussed the current use of older product graphics and text description of CIC websites and illustrated the migration from older product graphics to new version that carried the appropriate branding and messaging for Time Matters & PCLaw. Made request for all CICs to review their website’s use of PCLAW & Time Matters graphics to remove all older graphics and replace with newer graphics. On call several CICs expressed interest in additional variation and sizes of product graphics.

CICs requested a year end discount customer incentive to help them close business in their pipeline. LexisNexis marketing offered to develop a yearend discount offer for CICs separate from the discounts associated with the December PCLaw & Time Matters direct mail marketing program.

CICs asked about a “PRESS RELEASE” covering the launch of Time Matters 10 and PCLaw 10. LexisNexis marketing offered to develop a “NEWS RELEASE” covering the launch of these new products, which CICs could use as an information resource on their websites.
