WTGS Board Notes Softball is back! We were sorry to report that we were unable to hold an inhouse season due to field availability. We have been able to move forward with practice and now games with our Wave travel teams since these are held at different fields. We have had a lot of tournament success these past couple weeks that you will read about in the news below. Grayslake Park District is moving forward with an inhouse program at their fields. We encourage any girl that wants to play inhouse this year to register with that league to keep your skills up for when you return to WTGS in-house next season. They still have limited spots open for grades 6-9, contact them at (847) 223-7529 for more info. If your inhouse softball player is interested in taking her softball skills to the next level, check out our Warren Wave program! We are holding a Virtual Open House next Tuesday, July 7 from 7-8pm. At the meeting you can ask questions regarding assessments, practices, tournaments, team openings, etc. Please email travel@warrengirlssoftball.com to register for the zoom call. Warren Wave Travel Softball tryout registration is open! Tryouts will be held late July/early August. Please register at https://warrengirlssoftball.sportngin.com/register/form/366001593. Tryout registration is for new and current players that are interested in trying out for the 2020-2021 season.

Wave Spirit wear The Wave Spirit wear store is open now until July 5! Please order through this link: https://wave2020.itemorder.com/sale. A portion of the sales go to WTGS.

Wave Banquet Due to Phase 4 gathering restrictions we are unable to hold an end of season banquet. Coaches will receive more information on planning team parties instead as an alternative.

WTGS Board Elections WTGS is a volunteer led organization. Please consider running for a position on our Board of Directors to keep our program strong. We will be sending out more information on board elections soon. Elections take place in mid/late August.
