A brief visit with Pete & Jude Roper from Australia. The clouds and rain subsided briefly and in they rode in for one day. Pete was last here in 2004 during his first visit to the USA. They purchased a new Cali 1400 and have two months ahead of them riding around America. For those of you who do not follow the internet…. Pete is a frequent contributor helping Guzzi owners keep their cycles running right. He is factory certified and is the go-to–guy for the Australia market. He travels with the software and happily assists owners. Pete graciously made his 1400 available for rides.

“Welcome to the Heartland” Elkader City Park and Campground
July 12th, 13th and 14th 2013
Elkader is in beautiful Northeast Iowa, on Hwy 13, about halfway between Hwy 3 and Hwy 18. The Park is toward the south end of town and can be seen and accessed from Hwy 13.
The first 250 registered will receive:
Tent camping Fri & Sat nights(early arrivals need to pay at park kiosk for extra nights ), coffee, tea, lemonade all weekend; Rally Pin; Three Meals- Friday, Iowa beef supper. Saturday, breakfast and Iowa pork chop supper, Rolls
and Doughnuts Sunday morning.(We are planning on 250 and this is the number our caterers have) ALSO: Dealer Displays; Observation Poker Runs; Guided Group lunch ride; Swimming pool in park (cost not
included); Rest and relaxation; Scenic roads to ride.

2013 MGNOC National Rally is Coming to Ontario! August 22-25, 2013
Yes, it's true -- for the first time in its 42-year history, the Moto Guzzi National Owners Club rally is going International!! The event is to be held in beautiful Lavigne, Ontario, Canada, and the community is already working with local Guzzisti to prepare a tremendous event with great food, camping and entertainment for everyone! Rally and Visitor Information Phil Tunbridge, our founder, was kind enough to put together a document with some details about the rally and about travelling to Canada MGNOC 42nd National Notes Optional Accommodations: Camping at the Joli Voyageur campground is included in the rally fee, but if you would like to arrange something a bit more luxurious (at your own expense), here are some options you might want to consider.
