July 2013A QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER

FOR THE RETAILERS OF ROBINA TOWN CENTRE

Dear Retailer

It’s the start of a new financial year and what an exciting year it promises to be for Robina Town Centre.

We have just announced the next stage in the continuing development of Robina Town Centre as the Gold Coast's premium shopping destination. The South-East Carpark upgrade will bring covered parking to that end of the Centre with the added plus of parking guidance technology to make finding a park in that area as hassle free as possible for our customers. We are seeking the cooperation of all owners, managers and staff who previously utilised that South-East Carpark to bear with us while we carry out the works and park in the rooftop spaces of the Green Carpark. This will ensure priority parking for our customers in the South-West Food Markets Carpark.

On a staffing front we welcomed Marsha McGowan to the Centre Management team as Brand iQ Sales Manager in June and Marsha is the person to see about opportunities to promote your business in a variety of ways, be it trade outs, banners, casual mall sites etc. Marsha can be contacted on 5575 0400.

On a housekeeping front please note that after hours security for the Centre is limited in guard numbers and their role is general security for the whole Centre. Security advise that they are taking calls from store monitoring companies seeking guards to check premises out when alarm activations are received and regret they do not have the staff numbers to do so, nor is it included in the contract of services to the Centre. Please ensure that your monitoring company is aware of this and calls your nominated key holder if an activation should occur.

If you have any matter you wish to discuss please don’t hesitate to contact me on 5575 0400.

We are excited to advise you that an upgrade to Robina Town Centre’s South-East Carpark (Stage 1) has commenced, with completion of this carpark anticipated by mid-2014.

The carpark, located near the Food Markets entrance toward the South-East, is being converted into a two-level parking facility incorporating an electronic parking guidance system that has proven very popular with our customers.

The upgraded carpark will deliver improved access, amenity and convenience to our customers as well as increase the total number of carparking spaces at the Centre to over 6,700.

The Stage 1 project works form a part of the future expansion of Robina Town Centre’s Food Market Mall. Stages 2 and 3 of the proposed plan include the development of a new, larger ‘next generation’ Coles supermarket, an upgrade to the South-West Carpark and the refurbishment and expansion of the fresh food offer.

Stage 1 has commenced and the South-East Carpark, near the Food Markets is closed to customers and retailers during construction. However, the Food Market Mall is open for business as usual, and all other carparks including the South-West Carpark adjacent to the Food Markets is open for customers.

If you have any questions about the South-East Carpark upgrade please contact John Carroll, Senior Centre Manager on 07 5575 0400 or check our website for updates.
