How would we act if we could take anyone with us for free, and all go and have a great me. How much more excited should we be to share an all expenses paid trip to heaven? I want to help those suffering with sin to see the soluon. I pray about this a lot. Many need to address sin in their lives, but they do not see the need because Satan has blinded them. I want wisdom in knowing how to approach people who have sin blocking them from the sunlight of the Spirit of God. I pray they may see God's love and will for them.

What is Your Spiritual Bucket List? Jimmy England

B efore you go to heaven, what would you like to do, or be, or have? For me personally, I want to become a better husband. It’s clearer to me, now more than ever, that a husband’s relationship with his spouse should mimic the

relationship Jesus has with the church (Revelation 19:7-8). I want to become more pure and holy in my heart, thoughts and actions. Heaven is pure, holy and without blemish, and just like the jolt of a warm person jumping into a cold swimming pool, I don't want to shock my soul to acclimate to heaven. I want an easy, joyful, peaceful transition. I want to talk about heaven more to encourage others to think about it and desire it. Consider how much we talk about a trip to Disney as it draws near. How would we act if we could take anyone with us for free, and all go and have a great time. How much more excited should we be to share an all expenses paid trip to heaven? I want to help those suffering with sin to see the solution. I pray about this a lot. Many need to address sin in their lives, but they do not see the need because Satan has blinded them. I want wisdom in knowing how to approach people who have sin blocking them from the sunlight of the Spirit of God. I pray they may see God's love and will for them.

  • Mid-Year Financial Status Joseph Jennings

W e have reached the half way point for 2016 and the elders have asked for a mid-year financial update. At this point in the year we should be at the 50% mark for contributions and for expenditures. The budget year-to-date for contributions is $300,342 and our actual contributions received are $310,459. On the expense side, our year-to-date budget is $277,239 and our actual expenditures total $278,614, which puts us slightly over budget by

$1,375. This is not bad considering we have purchased and installed two new HVAC units already this year. Another ex-

citing financial note is that you will notice the new cellphone tower is nearing completion and we have started receiving a

monthly check in the amount of $1,200. At this point, we have received $3,600 in total from that effort. Of that amount,

$3,000 was used to help fund the Costa Rica mission trip last month. This was in addition to our budgeted funds that came

from our mission budget. We look forward to the second half of 2016 and trust that the people at Peachtree city Church

of Christ will continue to help further His kingdom through your love and compassion for others. May God continue to

bless our community and our world through His church here in Peachtree City.

“If I give all that I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”

    I Corinthians 14:5

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly

or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7
