6-STEP REMODELING PROCESS
INITIAL CONVERSATION AND FREE CONSULTATIONMany companies charge you for the initial consultation. At Moser Kitchens, we see this as the beginning of our relationship. Whether you know what you want or you’re still thinking it through, our Remodeling Consultants will meet with you in your home or at our Showroom, and talk you through the process.
PRICING AND PLANNINGAfter our free consultation, we’ll meet with you to finalize the labor proposal and the scope of the project. We’re known for standing by our estimates and communicating with you immediately if you make a decision that changes the estimate in any way. When work-ing with Moser Kitchens, you’ll never be surprised by any hidden fees.
RENOVATION / REMODELING FILING PROCESSWhen doing a renovation project in Northern Virginia, one of the most common obstacles that catch owners off guard are the various approvals and the time needed before a proj-ect can start. The first step is to get your renovation project reviewed and approved by the building’s owners association.
PRE-PRODUCTION STAGEWe’ll work with you using remodeling software that turns your ideas into reality. You will even see your new kitchen in a 3-D color rendering. Once you’re happy with the design, we’ll order the materials. Before we begin construction, we’ll assign a Project Manager to your renovation project and perform a job-site-walk-through with both the Project Man-ager and the Remodeling Consultant present. While, you are working on your design and material selections, our experienced staff will work behind the scenes securing project approvals and permits.
PRODUCTIONOnce the materials arrive and the necessary approvals are obtained, we can begin con-struction. The Project Manager will facilitate communication between you, the crew and any professional tradesmen involved. If you need to work or be at home during construc-tion, we’ll do everything possible to minimize the disruption to your life (or let you know long in advance if the project requires that you vacate the premises during part or all of construction).
COMPLETION AND QUALITY ASSURANCEWhen the majority of the construction is done, the Project Manager will walk through with you and create a “touch-up” list that documents any items that are incomplete or unsat-isfactory. Once this list is compiled, the touch-up crew will go through and take care of every item on the list to your satisfaction.

MEASURING GUIDE This basic measuring guide will allow us to provide you with a preliminary estimate.We will measure your kitchen before ordering.
#01. Sketch your kitchen. #02. Measure the entire walls.#03. Measure all openings, windows or doors. #04. Measure opening from trim edge to trim edge. #05. Measure from trim edge to far wall. Compare Steps 3+4+5 to Step 2. Totals should be equal. #06. Measure from floor to ceiling. #07. Measure from floor to window sill. #08. Measure from window sill to top of window. #09. Measure from top of window to ceiling. Compare Steps 7+8+9 to Step 6. Totals should be equal. #10. Measure width of door from trim edge to trim edge. Indicate position of door swing. #11. Measure appliances and sink. #12. Mark exact location of sink, water drain, gas lines, electrical outlets and switches on sketch.#13. List type and size of all appliances. #14.
