Dear Joe’s Produce customers,

At all of our markets, our shoppers and employees are like family, and their health and safety is a priority. Like you, we are also concerned about the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We continue to actively monitor the latest recommendations and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, our local Health Departments. We have implemented the following steps based on their recommendations:• Hired extra team members to assist in monitoring and continually cleaning all of our food stations, shopping carts, hand baskets, register stands, credit card terminals, restrooms, and shelves when restocking products with a disinfectant that is FDA approved for COVID-19.• Requiring all staff to wear gloves with frequent glove changes.• Removed all sample stations.• Increasing the frequency of our already strict hand washing policy for all team members.• Continue to provide sanitation wipes and hand sanitizers throughout all of the markets.We’ve talked to our team members about the importance of staying home if they are not feeling well. And we will actively monitor the health of the team members as they report to work.We have been your local specialty food market here in Livonia since 1945.
