Come out and learn more. Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG) is proposing to redevelop the existing Calabogie Generating Station (GS) located in Calabogie, Ontario. The 100 year old existing Calabogie GS is reaching its end of life, and OPG is exploring options to redevelop the facility. This Project is subject to an environmental assessment for existing water power structures under provincial legislation. As this Project proceeds through the environmental assessment process, OPG has hired an engineering and construction team, who will be responsible for designing and building the Project. As part of this process, OPG is also working closely with the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation (AOP) and the Algonquins of Ontario (AOO). If you are interested in learning more about construction- related employment opportunities for this Project, we invite you to meet with representatives from OPG and Sullivan at this Job Fair. Prospective work includes the Calabogie Redevelopment Project, the CNL New Builds Project, and the CNL Advanced Nuclear Materials Research Centre.
