Jim Skelton recently has been taking shots at a blogger, Betterskills on air and he has in the past sent his

rabid rabbits to attack Betterskills for his post speculating on skelton leaving shopnbc. Skelton also used

a phony ID, In Cognito to defend himself at the blog. Skelton has a history of doing things like this. At his

fuzzy wabbit forum, he attacked those who called him on his claims about Invicta and Seiko working

together on a “special” movment made for Invicta. As it turned out, they were right, and he was wrong,

as usual.

I normally would have this on the fuzzy rabbit forum, watchedgeeks or watchlords.net. But recently

Skelton has been at Knife forums pulling crap. When he was called on his past behavior by members

there, he again laid blame on others. A man from his past, Iron Bar, who knows him from the Portland

Oregon area when he was also known as Corona Gorda laid out the truth on that same forum. This

thread from the Cigar family forums was started by Jim Skelton aka Corona Gorda and it shows just what

type of person he was then, and how very simialr it is to him behavior now if you read the knife forum

posts here in the skelton closet.

I’m sorry if some feathers were ruffled today by my spontaneous appearance in chat on Saturday night. Let me

assure those worried that will not be a common occurrence. I simply popped in to see what was going on out of

sheer boredom. I have been faithful to my word and have been offline about 2 years now.

Let me also assure those that were so concerned on the clubhouse thread… I am not looking for acceptance, nor am I

looking for any type of forgiveness. I am not looking to reconcile with “lost friends”, or make my way back into CF at

any capacity. Outside of this particular post, I have not been on CF for about 2 years before the chat on Saturday.

You can say what you want about me (and you undoubtedly will), but unlike before, it wont affect my life. Aaron’s

post derived from our chat where some people asked me what was “going on” since I left. It was not some clever

scheme of mine to test the CF waters.

There seem to be many unanswered questions that I left hanging, well I’m sorry. Nothing said then or now by me would be fully believed, and I can fully understand that.

Pride was my worst enemy back then, and I tended to get very defensive so threads all went to hell really quick.

Simply put I know how bad I hurt some people here. My apology would mean nothing until I have actually taken care

of my obligations, so I will offer none at this time. My life has changed dramatically and I was forced to grow up real

quick. Regrettably it had to take place in front of thousands, but I always “put myself out there” so it was of my own

doing. I made many infantile mistakes, and I paid a very steep price for it. Trust was broken, and that unfortunately

is irreparable, so I have lived with that all this time.

I never have blamed anyone for my mistakes, but perhaps I was not vocal enough about my own responsibility. Yes I was a screwup. Was anything done by me malicious? No. I never scammed anyone, there was never a scheme. I

screwed my own finances and reached out for help. Help was offered. I accepted. No scam. I unfortunately could

barely afford to live, thus repayment didn’t happen. No excuses, I flat out didn’t make the money I should have to

repay in a timely fashion. I promised more than I could bear. Things are finally now on the upswing, and the time has

come for me to make my peace with those that helped me.

Stories will forever swirl about me. I don’t care. I am shocked though at some folks who say I owe dozens of people. I owe 2. Roy, and Bruce. The only addition that can be made is Scotty for my half of the hotel costs at CFC. No one

else, EVER. Hobbits rants are usually easy enough to tune out, but his mention of how I owe Jan and scores of other

people stands out. Chris respectfully… you are wrong. Maybe some wires got crossed, or you were misled. Jan herself

had posted when I left that she and I never had any issues. So please stop spreading more rumors.

Folks like RichL who say things like “Maybe he’s back because needs a new Breitling” also add fuel to the misleading

rumors. Rich, I had many nice material possessions when I arrived at CF. When my financial demise took hold, I sold

everything, and I never bought anything nice since. The folks who helped me saw where every penny went… it

helped me live, not live luxuriously. So please, the infantile jabs are far below your intellect.

I am posting this only to answer some questions that have been laid out there for some time. Whether you believe it

or not is up to you. I don’t expect you to like me, forgive me, or spit on me if I’m on fire.

Unfortunately the reach of CF is quite wide, and I have felt that the negative, partially untrue rumors spread about

me here could affect my personal life. I don’t think it’s fair to call me a thief of any type. I never stole a thing. I asked

for help, I accepted it when offered, I didn’t repay anywhere NEAR when it was agreed upon. Is it right? NO. But it is

not stealing. Like someone in chat said… “No one went broke helping you out”. My response was “Yes, but I broke

their trust, and therein lies the

On your first question, you are correct. As I stated above, life has begun to turn around, and only now after 2 years is

it possible to begin reparations.

On your second comment, admirable as it may sound, living on tic tacs may work for you, I however do not need for my son to die of malnutrition. Like it or not, living expenses exist. Life goes on in spite of mistakes. You must supply

power to the fridge to keep the food you must eat. You must put fuel in the car (or pay a bus, or buy good walking

shoes, etc..) to get to the job that pays these bills.

Claims are just that...claims. I have met people that have made convincing claims that they saw Elvis buying

Twinkies at 7 Eleven... that does not make it fact. One person claiming to have seen a "white van" terrified thousands of people into fleeing from every work van in Metro DC for weeks.

you did in the past since the judges and jury has already passed sentence on your past actions.

These type of posts are typical of some of the registered users of CF and why some people wish to remain anonymous

when they post.

Sad that Fuente/Newman would allow some of these types of comments and attacks on anybody on there site. It disgusts me to see grown people attack and act the way some of you do.

Sometimes it is better to just say nothing and keep your mouth shut. Things like this was contributing factors in the

shutdown of the JRBB. It wouldn't surprise me that in the long run the company that runs this board will realize the

same thing JR's did and see that it costs more to maintain a place for some of you to tarnish the entire

Fuente/Newman name by acting the way you are on there website.

Jimmy when you read this, please recall how I trusted in you.I took you into my home,fed you , drank with

You introduced me to this site about 4.5 years ago.I was easily impressed by you and your knowledge of many topics.

Your an example of how somebody has squandered MANY opportunities, and if you had invested a small percenatge

of your talents rather than finding angles you could be a sucess in any endeavour you chose to undertake.

I've been in some bad spots in my life Jim, which you know about. For Christ sakes Jim, I had my seperated Wife and

my future Wife pregnant at the same time!! But you know what Jimmy,I did the right things,I took the High Road,

not the Easy Road...It's so easy when your world starts to crumble to do the easy things, Please examine yourself

with some self-effacing scrutiny and start slow.

One more itemI'd like you to remember. When DannyM had his site you and I put up several Opus Samplers which

all sold to the tune of $ 500-600. I really wanted to go to CFCF,but you convinced me to "lend" you money from the

Opus samplers which amounted to about $350. The rest is history, you went, I didn't and you never said a word

about re-paying me. I also never mentioned it to you, but it wasn't my responsibility to remind you. Quite franklyI

never expected you to pay me back, but when you left the Smoke Shop with a trunkfull of sticks the Cat was let out

of the bag at that time.

I'm so glad I didn't call in the favors you wanted from ME regarding potential financingof the 5 stores you wanted to

purchase. This is another glimpse of your Grandiose ideas you paint in your mind.

Jim,

I shouldn't post on this, it seems that every thread I post on dies immediatly.

You stole money from PAD.

You stole money from landlords.

You stole money from friends, and more of them than the two that you mention.

You stole much more than money from many more people than you admit to.

You stole the love and respect of a great many people here in Portland and even more on the board.

You stole some of our ability too trust people and too give the benefit of the doubt to people.

You stole the pride of people who helped you, and of those people who called, and even more, those who still call,

you friend.

You stole so much from so many that you will never be able to pay it back.

When the shtf you ran and hid instead of facing your problems like a man. You even told people that those who

atarted to question you were lieing if they said any thing bad about you.

When you sold the shirts, you had at the time, your sidekick Hobbit posted how you lost money and we should all

send you $5. When I said that I didn't think I should pay more for a shirt that wasn't what I ordered, I was shouted down by almost every member of the Portland group. ( a group who trusted you and learned the hard way you are a

grifter)

At the same time you were ripping off PAD you were telling people that you lost money and were asking for

donations to break even.

When you accused one of our members of giving Portland a bad name for being slow in repaying a $3 debt, you had

already ripped off PAD. And I don't just mean for money, I am including donations that were supposed to be given

out as prizes and never were. Many of which ended up on EBAY.

I have never been one of your believers or considered you a friend, just someone who could tell some real whoppers

and have a lot of people believe him.

I hope they don't believe them this time. I don't know why you would pop up at CF now but I personally believe that

you have no intention of repaying anyone. If you did you would have started to repay them instead of talking about

it.

I also hope you get your life together.

If you walk into Cascade the next time I am there and ask to have a cigar with me, I will check my wallet and switch









tables.

We here in Portland seldom talk about you and when we do it is mostly about humerous things (FULL HOUSE!). So don't flatter yourself that you are a regular topic of discussion.

You aren't.

Also, don't flatter yourself that you are a man, much less a human being deserving of forgiveness and

understanding.

You aren't.

Although we, well most of us anyway, do understand you.

I hope the rest of the people in your life never find out what you really are.

CG the Lord of this site?? LMAO!! Maybe in yours and his mind, but there were a lot of us who watched him come and

watched him go without wasting an ounce of energy on him his antics here were loud, self-serving and somewhat

immature most of the time.

I never quite understood the facination some people had hanging on his every word, but he had an impact on a few

of you for sure... CG "ran the site" and "Lord of CF"?? Get real.

I still want to know the true story of why he moved from FL to OR. It couldn't have merely been to work in a cigar

szatzu, I believe they were called CG's Cronies or something like that. I am proud to say I was one of the first ones to flame the maggot. We got into it several times regarding RAG and then a few times later over other matters. CG was

a legend in his own mind, nothing more. He lived in the chat room for awhile, developed a small following and then

ventured out onto the board.

One of my fondest memories was when the scumbag moved his family across country from FL to OR. Ran out of

money about CA, nice people there took up a collection so he would have some bucks for gas and food on the

remainder of his trip. Not more than one week later, the POS was posting here at CF discussing a possible purchase

of a Harley and a Rolex or something like that. Pretty subtle guy wasn't he? LMAO!!!

Sad thing is, I am 100% sure we don't know all the CG stories. I know a couple, that only a few people know, that

even further shows what a scumbag he is. I am confident there are many people he duped that are too ashamed to

step forward and admit they got taken too by this con man.

Let me assure those 'blah blah blah' = He considers himself a prominent politician at large, complete with opening

My spontaneous appearance = Keep repeating these words to yourself and see if a halo doesn't appear over your

head. He can't stop himself from exposing his godlike vision of himself

Ruffled Feathers = Sneering at and mocking his ungrateful complaining victims

but perhaps I was not vocal enough about my own responsibility = Perhaps? Perhaps!!! This means that hell no, HE sure wasn't responsible. Heck, if these folks would've taken more care with their time and money, why shucks, he

Would someone please remind Donna that extreme naivte is not a becoming trait? Yes, it's a shame that this trailer

park refugee procreated and passed on his genetics, but there's nothing that can be done about that now.

And for what's it's worth, I never found even one line of his posts creative or entertaining. Tedious? yes.

Amatuerish? Definitely. But never entertaining (unless of course you find White Trash spewing verbal crap

amusing).

I remember that the old guard that was here before him were definitely NOT his cronies. I mostly ignored him, but there was one thread that he posted on after being here about a year, ripping a newbie for trying to trade for Opus.

After reminding him that he was a newbie once too, and not very long ago, he then lit into me, which prompted a

FOAD from me. This was when he was at his most popular, and I remember Scott from NY sticking with me on that

one.

I think the only funny thing he ever did was some cut and paste photos of Gary as the Mona Lisa.












Other than that, he was a PITA.

qualification or apology for being who they are. Hey, they are who they are and they by god, deserve the best. You

dear sucker, are obligated to provide them what they need.

The gutsy of this type do bank jobs, general opportunity stick ups, and when pickings get slim, apply some strong

arm.

The less gutsy do burglarys and mug the elderly for their social security money. And, the old folks better not resist if

they know what's good for em.

If he wants to prove that's an inaccurate characterization, he should have the courage to post his address and phone

number. And instantly start paying back all of those he bilked.

Of course, he will stay way, way underground. Kind of like other burrowing creatures, you know, toads, newts, slugs,

and any of the various terrestrial gastropods having an elongated slimy body and no external shell. In other words,

the sleezy, slimy, boneless we never want to see or hear from.

Unless he starts paying back the money he owes, now.

What do you say, CG, to four dollars a month, every month, to all you stole from? This is doable.
