May, 2015Hello from Romania! We are busy contacting people, telling them about Jesus. On June 1, the teenagers from Matei Basarab we have shown Christian films to since last September will gather for pizza and a concert by my dear friend Catalin Ciuculescu, a Christian singer and songwriter. This event will be held off campus in the front yard of the church I am a member of, which is a short 10 minute walk from the school. Manu will be with me and we expect to present the Gospel to them in a way we cant do at the school. Pray for this time please!

Last month I told you about 2 young men we have gotten to know, Marius and Sorin. We have continued to make contact with them. Since last month Marius and another young man, Florin have moved 5 hours west to Timisoara to work. I offered Marius a ride to Timisoara and we took them there on Thursday, May 7. Our team member, Andrei has been going with me to be with these guys, and he went with us to Timisoara. I am thrilled to tell you these boys have taken giant steps toward the Savior! My friends Vlad and Luci Rotar helped them find a place to live. After a few hours of searching for a place, we prayed and within 2 hours we looked at 2 places, and they settled on one of them! They made suggestions to the boys for work. Andrei and I stayed with them for 5 days to help. It was an incredible time; we have become such good friends. Marius and Florin were happy to have us because they knew only Marius sister in the city. We invited them to church with us and they went both morning and evening on May 10. When I asked how they liked it, their response was everyone was so happy! The next day as we prayed for them before we left tears began with Marius, then me, then the other boys; we didnt want to leave them. We love these boys dearly!The next weekend we were back in Timisoara with Marius and Florin. It was a great reunion, but we had only been gone for 3 days!! We learned they had begun to pray before they eat, and they had been praying for us! We heard both of them pray while we were there. They had put resumes in many businesses looking for work, and had not heard anything. We prayed and within about 2 hours they got 3 calls from places they had asked for work. Marius began work on Sunday afternoon; Florin is working through the application process in another place. On Saturday night we watched the film Gods Not Dead with them. At the end, I looked at Marius and said I believe the message of this film with all my heart, do you Marius? He said yes!! I turned to Florin and asked the same question and he said about . Praise the Lord for more progress! We went to church again the next day with them.

As this is being written we are planning to return on Friday. This time Manu will go with us, I really want Marius and Florin to meet Manu and hear his testimony. The boys have thanked us over and over again for helping them. God is working in their hearts; I am excited and very thankful. As I write this on May 20, today is Florins 21st birthday! I could write page after page about how God is working in the lives of these boys. Please pray for them, ask God to show them their need for a Savior. Also ask Him to provide for them and to guard their hearts from any influence that would seek to undo the Spiritual progress they have made.
