Cyclone Filter Provides Effective Grease Extracting

When cooking, it's hard to avoid getting a lot of grease in the ductwork, therefore a good greasefilter greatly decreases the amount of grease thatcan enter the duct, which in turn decreases therisk of fire and reduces the costs of cleaning. JCE,Jeven's unique cyclone filter, not only has a highlevel of extraction, but also provides constantpressure.This makes the filter work effectively during itsoperation, no matter how much grease builds upon the filter. The fact that the filter can be easilywashed in the dishwasher makes it easy andsimple to maintain.

Grease and Odour Reduction with UV Light

The appliances in a kitchen generate large heat loads whichare extracted by the ventilation duct, which is usuallyconnected directly to the outside. With UV Combilux theexhaust air is extracted at a level so the air can be directedthrough a heat exchanger and energy can be captured for re-use.The UV filter is not only used with heat exhangers for energyrecycling, but also to avoid odours from the kitchenventilation. UV Combilux makes it easy to flow from thekitchen to external spaces.

A UV Combilux filter cleans the air in three steps. The cyclonefilter separates all large particles, a wire filter separates anddistributes the air evenly in the filter housing before the air ispassed through the UV tube. The UV light breaks up theprotein chains into smaller parts and ozone is generated andit reacts with the grease and odour.

Supply Air Hood

Letting air in through the kitchen hoods is often desired

and supply air makes the best possible use as the air flows directly into the working area. A supply air hoodforces air into the kitchen in a draft-free way through aunique supply air fascia. The occupants can easilyadjust the spread of air with a simple hand adjustmentand each supply air unit has an adjustable damper.The entire supply unit can easily be removed from thehood and washed in a dishwasher. The supply air unitscan be placed on an optional number of sides whichmeans that the placement of the units can beindividually adapted to specific needs. The supply air unit lets air into the room, but also works as adirectional throw device. The directional air effectivelyprevents dirty air escaping from the hood.

Condensate Hood

When kitchen equipment generatessteam and less grease, it is better touse a condensate hood. This appliesto dishwashers, but primarily to kettlescausing problems with steam. Thecondensate hood is a hood designed

to separate the water vapour toprevent condensation from getting intothe exhaust duct. The ceiling in acondensation hood is angled to keepthe condensed water from droppingback into the kitchen area. To simplifythe cleaning process, thecondensation baffles are removableand washable in a dishwasher.

Ansulex Fire Extinguishing System

About half of all hotel and restaurant fires start in thekitchen. In many cases the cause is grease and foodoil from stoves, grills, fryers and extract ducts. removed often requires large flows of both exhaust andsupply air. Because this is a workplace for kitchenpersonnel, correct ventilation is needed in order for thework environment to be suitable. The Jeven designservice gives you the opportunity of availing yourself of our designers, who will use all their kitchen projectexperience to take care of detailing your kitchen for you.

From a kitchen layout with a list of the kitchenequipment, Jeven provides a design service to

complete requirements and sizes of the kitchenhoods. Exhaust air flow, supply air flow and thehoods' dimensions are either presented as dwg-filesor as 3D drawings that can be imported f.ex. intoMagiCad. This service is totally free of charge andhelps you save both time and money as well asensuring correct design.

If you work in AutoCad, simply send your drawing of thekitchen to Jeven Design Service. After detailing isfinished, the hoods are presented in the form of 3 differentfloor plan layouts.

You will also be given an x-ref file that you canpaste into your drawing. This lets you see eachhood's exact placement in the kitchen.
