Jensen Lakes Library opens its doors on July 16 After two weeks of smooth operations at the Downtown Library, we're excited to move into the next phase: in-person library services at Jensen Lakes Library resumes on Thursday, July 16, with hours and services that complement the services offered at the Downtown Library. Of note, the first two hours of each open day at Jensen Lakes Library will be reserved for vulnerable populations, including senior citizens and community members who are immunocompromised or otherwise at risk. Jensen Lakes Library hours - #1010, 880 St. Albert Trail: Tuesday through Friday: 9 AM-3 PM (9 AM-11 AM for at-risk patrons) Saturday: 10 AM-5 PM (10 AM-12 PM for at-risk patrons) Sunday & Monday: closed Downtown Library hours - St. Albert Place, 5 St. Anne Street: Monday through Friday: 12 PM-6 PM Saturday: 10 AM-5 PM Sunday: closed Read the full announcement here. Jensen Lakes Library opens its doors on July 16

After two weeks of smooth operations at the Downtown Library, we're excited to move into the next

phase: in-person library services at Jensen Lakes Library resumes on Thursday, July 16, with hours and

services that complement the services offered at the Downtown Library. Of note, the first two hours

of each open day at Jensen Lakes Library will be reserved for vulnerable populations, including

Jensen Lakes Library hours - #1010, 880 St. Albert Trail:

IMPORTANT HOUSEKEEPING DETAILS:

1. Starting Thursday, you can pick up holds at either library location - just choose your

preference when you place your hold. You can also return materials to either location.

2. Late fines on all library materials were suspended while we were closed and in the early

stages of reopening. Late fines begin again on August 4.

3. Materials signed out before the library closed in March had their due dates extended to July

30 - that date is fast approaching! To avoid fines, please search your homes for those

materials and return them before July 30 to avoid late fines.

4. Because we extended due dates on materials loaned out before the library closed, and

because we have extended some loan periods in the early stages of reopening, it is

important that you check your account for due dates on all your library materials. You can

do that online by following these instructions. If you have trouble checking your account

online, call us at 780-459-1530 during the Downtown Library's open hours and we'll be

happy to help.

5. We continue to quarantine returned materials for a minimum of 72 hours. During that time,

those items will remain on your account, but don't worry - they won't accrue fines during

quarantine.

regular hours.
