JENNIFER CARUSO NAMED GENERAL MANAGER

AT NEW SENECA BUFFALO CREEK CASINO

New gaming facility scheduled to open this summer

BUFFALO CREEK TERRITORY – As construction of the new $130 million

Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino continues, Seneca Gaming Corporation today named

Jennifer Caruso as the property’s general manager.

Caruso will oversee the daily operations of the casino and its workforce, which

is expected to include approximately 500 employees with an estimated payroll of $52

million annually. She joined Seneca Gaming Corporation in 2005 and has served in a

variety of financial and management positions at both Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel

and at Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel. Since September 2011, Caruso has

participated in the company’s Executive Leadership Development program.

“Throughout her career with Seneca Gaming Corporation, Jennifer has stood

out as an exceptional team member for her drive, leadership and ability to meet the

challenges presented to her with each successive leadership post,” said Cathy

Walker, the corporation’s president and CEO. “She has earned the opportunity to

lead the opening and operation of the new Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino.”

Scheduled to open later this summer, the new casino will feature 800 slot

machines and 18 table games, and will be a centerpiece in the continued

redevelopment of the Inner Harbor area of downtown Buffalo. In addition, the menu

of the casino’s Buffalo-centric restaurant, Buffalo Savors, will feature such signature

items as chicken wings from Duff’s Restaurant, beef on weck from Charlie the

Butcher, Italian favorites from Ilio DiPaolo’s, pizza from Franco’s Pizza, desserts and

pastries from Chrusciki Bakery and gelato from Sweet Melody’s, all tasty local

favorites made possible through partnerships with iconic local restaurants.

The new casino will replace the existing Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino on the

Seneca Nation of Indians’ sovereign nine-acre Buffalo Creek Territory, which attracts

more than 800,000 visitors each year.

for me personally and professionally,” said Caruso, an enrolled member of the

Seneca Nation. “I am grateful for the confidence which the management team and

Caruso most recently served as Vice President of Operations at Seneca

Allegany Casino & Hotel. She has also held such positions as Casino Controller, and

Director of Finance at Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel, and Executive Director of

Financial Planning & Analysis at Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel.

Prior to joining Seneca Gaming Corporation, Caruso spent nearly ten years

working for Foxwoods Resort Casino and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. A

resident of Grand Island, she earned Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from

Central Connecticut State University and a Masters of Business Administration from

the University of Connecticut.
