managing ammunition stored aboard the ship in support of the U.S. Marine Corps Maritime Prepositioning Force (MPF) using the

Ordnance Information System- Retail (OIS-R). Was always prepared to conduct supply chain management operations to supply

Marines with ammunition in combat zones throughout the world.

UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS 1991 - 2011

Ammunition Chief and Logistics Chief, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (22nd MEU) Camp Lejeune, NC, 2007-2011

As acting 22nd MEU logistics Chief, Supervised over 40 logistics personnel in the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU). As

MEU Ammunition Chief, expertly managed all arms and ammunition logistics support for over 2,200 Marines serving in

contingency operations overseas to include ammunition assets valued at over $20,000,000 stored aboard U.S. Navy amphibious

shipping. Also, was responsible for supervising the maintenance of the weapons maintained in the 22nd MEU Armory ashore and

on ship.

• Advised Commanding Officer on all arms, ammunition and explosives matters.

• Supervised the execution of various logistics and global supply chain management operations during three overseas

deployments; ensured Marines of 22nd MEU received uninterrupted armaments, ammunition and explosives logistics support.

• Supervised and established field ammunition supply points to support training overseas and in the U.S.

• Received Navy Commendation Medal for outstanding logistics management during three overseas deployments.

Ammunition Chief and Logistics Chief, 10th Marines, 2nd Marine Division, Camp Lejeune, NC, 2005-2007

As acting Logistics Chief, supervised the logistics operations of over 200 Marines in absence of the Commanding Officer.

Managed all ammunition, arms and explosives matters for over 3,500 Marines of 10th Marines Regiment. Served as the Arms,

Ammunition and Explosives (AA&E) Chief in addition to executing duties as the Logistics Chief.

• Established and managed field ammunition supply points for the regiment for several major training exercises to include

supervision of a platoon of 30 Marines and 20 trucks responsible for providing ammunition support for the entire regiment

• Ensured continuous, on-time arms, ammunition and explosives logistics support for 10th Marines Regiment.

Ammunition Operations Chief, Camp Fuji Ammunition Supply Point, Japan, 2004-2005

Managed and supervised all operations ensuring a continuous supply of ammunition to units training in mainland Japan.

Supervised an ammunition detachment of 11 Marines and ensured ammunition of all types to support training of over 30,000

Marines of the third Marine Expeditionary Force (III MEF) in mainland Japan was safely maintained, stored and distributed.

• Maintained 100% accountability of over 800 tons of ammunition maintained at this storage facility.

• Received outstanding results on all safety, security and accountability inspections; awarded Navy Achievement Medal.

Operations Chief, USMC, Reserve Training Center, Rome, Georgia, 2002-2004

Supervised and managed the training of a Marine Corps Reserve ammunition detachment of 100 Marine Reservists. Managed all

logistics matters including shipping the detachment to various locations for training exercises around the United States .

• Deployed with unit to Kuwait in 2003 for Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF 1) and became the Ammunition Chief for 1st Force

Service Support Group (1st FSSG), from March 2003 to August 2003 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Assisted 1st

FSSG with offload of ammunition assets from Maritime Prepositioning Force (MPF) shipping during OIF 1.

• As Ammunition Chief for 1st FSSG, supervised and managed emergency ammunition resupply operations via cargo aircraft

of all types in support of over 65,000 Marines of 1st Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF).

• Received Navy Commendation Medal for outstanding ammunition logistics support during the operation.

Ammunition Chief, 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines, 2nd Marine Division, Camp Lejeune, NC 1997-2002

Managed all arms, ammunition and explosives logistics support for the 1000 Marines of 2nd Battalion, 8 th Marines, 2nd Marine

Division. Ensured the Marines of the battalion received continuous, uninterrupted armaments, ammunition and explosives

logistics support during three different overseas deployments.

• Maintained 100% accountability of all ammunition transactions within the battalion and passed all accountability and safety

inspections with no discrepancies.
