The %ystems &nalyst will help oversee the maintenance of over (,)** servers in +* locations worldwidewhile supporting more than ** users gloally. Tower has over +* high-capacity, low-latency, direct

private lines etween our sites, and we use the latest high-performance servers, networ$ switches, and

networ$ cards. This role is availale at Tower Research Capital India/s office in 0urgaon, India.

Responsibilities

Debugging dropped packets, whether at the network, NIC, OS, or application layers

Troubleshooting kernel panics and system hangs

Analyzing perormance issues

!ine"tuning processes to run with the least #itter

Supporting an o$ce o o%er &' people (with most coming rom IIT) in *urgaon, Indiaand supporting other remote users in Asia

Directing support or our continuously acti%e ser%ers, lines, and low"latency network

during the India daytime hours

Installing, con+guring, and deploying ully"distributed ed -at .inu/ systems and

desktops

Collaborating with the Systems team in New 0ork to maintain Tower1s e/isting

colocation acilities across Asia and to set up new acilities

Taking a role in researching, testing, recommending, implementing, and maintaining

cutting" edge, ultra low"latency systems and network technologies

2articipating in an on"call rotation

Qualifications

A technical degree rom an accredited uni%ersity

3inimum o & years e/perience in ed -at .inu/ administration in a +nancial

ser%ices, internet ser%ice pro%ider, or telecommunications en%ironment

4/perience in .inu/ 5ernel tuning, con+guration management with cengine, .inu/

network perormance management6troubleshooting, hardware testing6integration and IT

security 4/perience maintaining Cisco, 7indows, and 2C hardware

!luency in at least one scripting6coding language

-ands"on knowledge o SS-, iptables administration, N!S, DNS, D-C2, and .DA2

4/perience with Open Source applications to build enterprise"le%el systems (i8e8,

Nagios, Smoke2ing, 3T*, etc8)

2ro%en troubleshooting e/perience

4/pertise in maintaining Cisco ports69.ANs6dot:8/ settings in any o$ce en%ironment
