much copy on each frame. Despite being electronic it is still a
poster in terms of how people consume the message. Below
are some of our recommendations:

• Usemovingtypefacesandimagestobringtheposters
to life.
• Dependingonthechosentypefacetherecommended
legible font sizes for viewing on Transvision are a minimum
16pts and maximum 70pts.
• Stillimagescanbeseparatedandruninpartstotella
visual story.
• Givetheaudiencetimetoreadintothemessage.
• WithTV/Videoslowmotionisveryeffective.Slowing
down the film slightly allows for the new environment the
commercial is in.
• Dominantbrightgraphics,contrastandlargeelements
of colour will guarantee impact and visibility for the viewer.
• Warning–Duetothebrightnessofthescreenwhite

SkyNewsengagetheinterestofthebusycommuter
whilstaddingrelevancetotheadvertising.Sky’slocation
specificcontentincludesthelatestSport,News,
Showbiz,WeatherandBusinessupdates. The screens
display a combination of moving images, text, animation
and editorial content with the ability to be updated on a
regular basis.
Technology incorporated into the screens enables them
to interact with the internet and mobile phones through
Bluetooth,SMSandsocialnetworksitestoproduce
engaging and dynamic campaigns.

‘slots’of20secondsthatrunintwoweekperiodswithin
asixminuteloop.WhileTransvisionisextremelyflexible,
researchshowsthatthepacksnotonlyofferthebest
valuebutarealsothemosteffective.However,bespoke
campaigns will be considered on an individual basis.
Advertising is scheduled within a six minute loop. This
loopissplitintofourunitsofSkyeditorialwithadvertising
either side.
IfyouareprovidingmoviespleasesupplyQuickTimeFiles
with dimensions set to 768 by 384 pixels. Overall file size
shouldbe20MBorless,encodedwithh264orSorensen3
andsuppliedonCDforplaybackonWindows.
WhensupplyingTV/Videocopypleaseensurethecolour
informationissub-sampled,inasimilarwaytoaPAL
composite signal. Avoid small detailed colour logos as they
maybleed.Fortitleswithstrongcontrast(i.e.whiteonblack)
useaminimumfontheightof20lines.Forhighlysaturated
titles,withasimilarcontrast,keepabove30lines.Allpost
production must be done digitally, preferably without any
compression.DeliveronDigitalBetacam16:9FHA.(Not4:3,
14:9or16:9LB).
ForstandardpostercopypleaseprovideCDsofun-flattened,
layeredartwork.Werequestthatacolourproofisalso
supplied.
Fontscaneitherbesavedasoutlinesortheclientshould
provide the accompanying font on the CD.

The stage should be set to 768 by 384 pixels in size with all

fps. Please also hold end frame and ensure that it doesnt fade
or animate out.
