Why I dont believe in god

Ah!! The most devious of all questions. How do you answer such a question. Howyou give a rational explanation for not believing in a phenomenon which is suppto be beyond rationality and questioning , that is GOD.

First of all I would like to clarify that I am not a non believer by estoppel but havcome to realize this after much thought. Its not that I never wanted to believe, wwouldnt? , knowing that theres someone watching over you, someone who loveeternally, someone who guides you along in these wretched lives we lead.

Faith gives you a purpose, a sense of belonging without which life is unbearable

painful. When I was very young I was a very religious boy but over time my faithfaltered, why wouldnt it, take a look around and youll see all the reasons.

Now coming back to the original question, why I dont believe in god?

For my argument I take into account three qualities of our heavenly father.

    1. god is all-knowing, he is omnipotent.2. he is all powerful.3. he is benevolent.

Now for our analysis lets take a very basic example. A 5 year young girl who hacome to know her own thoughts till now, whose soul is clean, she has not even lwhat sin is. She is abducted by a mad man. She is tortured, raped repeatedly anthen murdered.

Now notice how our messiah is a hypocrite in this case. He tells his followers to bgood and help anybody in need, still being omnipotent and knowing of the act ato be committed he does nothing to stop it; he lets it happen. Being all powerfulomnipresent he does nothing to stop the heinous act, doesnt that make him paresponsible for the act.

Sitting on his high pedestal he judges us. I ask you who is he to judge us when hdoesnt follow his own edicts. Doesnt his inaction make him as guilty as themurderer.

If god is benevolent he should stop the rape and murder of that little girl and if hdoesnt then he is not all loving and good.

If he is not benevolent why does he deserve, neigh demand my faith. How is hisconscience cleaner than all of ours. Does he demand my faith because he is allpowerful, if so, he deserves not my faith but my recognition and fear of his powedoes not deserve my love and respect.

How is he different from any common dictators who demand our obedience atgunpoint?

He says be good and ask for nothing in return and I would reward you. Now he iscounteracting his own statement, if he intends goodness be a virtue without a rein mind. Then his rewarding good people with heaven is against his own principlis not teaching people to be good as a way of life he is selling them heaven and currency is goodness.

He is playing on one of the cardinal sins set by him, mans greed.

Imagine the hypocrisy of this being, he created us imperfect and then judges us these imperfections. He is the one who created greed, hate, war & murder; he gman the instruments of evil and then punishes him for using them. Isnt the perswho hands the gun to the murderer as guilty as the murderer himself. Its because of these contradictions I dont believe theres a god and if there is ois playing with us, Like a puppet master bending the strings for his ownentertainment, caring not for what we his children feel or suffer.

If such is the nature of god I refuse to bow my head to him, I refuse to recognizesupremacy. He may own my life, my soul, my fear of his power but he will never

    my faith.

He will not have the right to judge me because in my eyes he is the one who shobe on trial.
