Neighbors,
Well it is a new year and we will set our goals high on a number of fronts. 2017 brought many expenses that will not be needed for a while now. Cost control and value for our dollar on any new improvements will be a priority. We had an increase in dues last year and no one wants dues to increase any more than the board of directors.
One main push will be to go after delinquent accounts. We have the ability to place leans on each resident that is behind in their dues as well as garnish wages from their employer. We will be doing this starting now. I strongly recommend getting with Debbie Mahoney at Com‐munity Group to make payment arrangements to get past due accounts current. The new col‐lection agency will be aggressive to collect these accounts.
On a lighter note we will continue several beautification projects and ask homeowners to do the same on their yards and general upkeep on homes. We will be replacing the carpet in the downstairs halls and fitness center within the next few weeks.
Again, the board would like to thank all of the volunteers who helped around the clubhouse before Christmas. Dick Fisher is allowing residents to dispose of Christmas trees. Place clean trees by the dumpster for burning.
We will be having one deer hunt within Chesdin on January 4th. They will start after school buses have picked children up and will end prior to buses returning. They will be concen‐trating on the large blocks of undeveloped property to thin the herds some.
Lastly, one of the biggest things we can do in our neighborhood is to support the golf club in any way. Join the club, invite friends to join and patronize the restaurant for dinner, lunch or take out.
Please submit all plans for additions to homes and major landscaping projects. All builders must be qualified, vetted and approved prior to construction on any home sites.
Sincerely,
Scott Camp,
President POA
