If you are visiting with us for the first time,
WELCOME!
We are glad it was your choice
to worship Christ with us today.
We hope this time of praise and the study of
God’s Word will be an encouragement for you.
Please join us for refreshments on the patio
at the Royal Palm campus
or in the foyer at the Acreage campus.
We look forward to meeting you!
“I love this church because I can come here and hear the Truth of
God being taught genuinely and because it provides a loving
environment that helps me to continually grow into the man that
God wants me to be.”
“I serve Jesus with you by volunteering in the Preschool with the
three year olds.”
Are you considering Christ’s request to follow Him by way of
believer’s baptism? Make plans now to register for the upcoming
Beach Baptism. Please phone the church office to make an
appointment with one of our pastors to discuss your spiritual
journey. We will celebrate this Ordinance of God, fellowship, and
have a cookout from 3:30 - 6:30 PM at the Gumbo-Limbo Pavilion
in Carlin Park, Jupiter. Save the date!
Make plans now to attend this conference which will both
inspire and challenge us as parents, grandparents, or simply
concerned adults who desire to influence children and youth
for God. What will the next generation look like? That all
depends upon how much we will invest in their future.
Church Life
I was having lunch alone at a sub shop that had a video game in the corner. After I finished my sandwich, I got up in front of the ‘Centipede,’ as it was called. As I put in the quarter and heard it get swallowed, I heard a voice inside of me that asked the question, “Whose quarter was that?” There was no one standing behind me, so I knew Who was asking me. And I knew the answer right away. It was God’s quarter in my pocket – well, now it was in the Centipede. The Centipede introduced me to my first lesson on the responsibilities of wealth, that everything belongs to God, and is to be managed by me. As God said to Job, “Everything under the heaven belongs to Me.” (Job 41:11) And David said, “Everything in the heavens and earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as being in control of everything. Riches and honor come from you alone, and you are the Ruler of all mankind.” (1 Chron. 29:11-12) From Wealth Conundrum

How Do I SOAP?
Today’s SOAP from Pastor Will Lopes
Scripture: Judges 4:4-10, 12-16
Observation: Deborah was a prophetess; one instructed in Divine knowledge by the inspiration of the Spirit of God. She judged Israel as God's mouth to them; correcting abuses, and redressing grievances. By God's direction, she ordered Barak (son of Abinoam) to raise an army, and engage Jabin's forces. Barak insisted that she would be with him. Deborah promised to go with him. She would not send him where she would not go herself.
Application: Many times, leaders invite people to join the vision or a new journey and are not willing to do the sacrifice or the next step themselves. Those who in God's name call others to their duty, should be ready to assist them in it as Deborah did. In the same way, God will do that for us… He will not call us out or our comfort zone, to the unknown, to leave us alone. He is WITH us! Our God He is FOR us.
Prayer: God, as you call us to the unknown and challenge us to get out of our comfort zone, help us to be reminded the you will never leave us or abandon us.. You are always with us. As leaders, help us also to have the courage to call others to your vision, and as Deborah, lead your people while putting ourselves as examples.
Scripture - Read the passage of Scripture for the day and allow God to speak to you. Look for a verse that spoke to you. Write it down.
Observation - Write your observation as to what is happening in the text. What do you believe is the point of the passage?
Application - Ask yourself how this Scripture applies to your life right now. Write down how it can apply to you today.
Prayer - This can be as simple as asking God to help you use this Scripture, or even a prayer for a greater insight on what He may be revealing to you. Remember, prayer is a two-way conversation, so be sure to listen to what God has to say! Now, write it out.
Grab your Bible, a pen, and a notebook.
Get ready to hear from God
through His Word!

Scripture
4 Deborah, a woman who was a prophetess and the wife of Lappidoth, was judging Israel at that
time.
5 It was her custom to sit under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill
country of Ephraim, and the Israelites went up to her for judgment.
6 She summoned Barak son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali and said to him, “Hasn’t the Lord,
the God of Israel, commanded you: ‘Go, deploy the troops on Mount Tabor, and take with you
10,000 men from the Naphtalites and Zebulunites?
7 Then I will lure Sisera commander of Jabin’s forces, his chariots, and his army at the Wadi Kishon
to fight against you, and I will hand him over to you.’”
8 Barak said to her, “If you will go with me, I will go. But if you will not go with me, I will not go.”
9 “I will go with you,” she said, “but you will receive no honor on the road you are about to take,
because the Lord will sell Sisera into a woman’s hand.” So Deborah got up and went with Barak
to Kedesh.
10 Barak summoned Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; 10,000 men followed him, and Deborah also
went with him.
12 It was reported to Sisera that Barak son of Abinoam had gone up Mount Tabor.
13 Sisera summoned all his 900 iron chariots and all the people who were with him from Harosheth
of the Nations to the Wadi Kishon.
14 Then Deborah said to Barak, “Move on, for this is the day the Lord has handed Sisera over to you.
Hasn’t the Lord gone before you?” So Barak came down from Mount Tabor with 10,000 men
following him.
15 The Lord threw Sisera, all his charioteers, and all his army into confusion with the sword before
Barak. Sisera left his chariot and fled on foot.
16 Barak pursued the chariots and the army as far as Harosheth of the Nations, and the whole army
of Sisera fell by the sword; not a single man was left. Judges 4:4-10, 12-16

Do Something
Faith that does nothing is dead! James 2:26
Faith is not the belief that God will do what you want. Faith is the belief that God will do what is right. God is always near and always available. Just waiting for your touch. So let Him know. Demonstrate your devotion: Write a letter. Ask forgiveness. Be baptized. Feed a hungry person. Pray. Teach. Go. Do something that demonstrates faith. For faith with no effort is no faith at all. God will respond. He has never rejected a genuine gesture of faith. Never. From He Still Moves Stones

Today, the children learned about Deborah and Barak. They learned that we should trust God when He gives us a command to obey. Their memory verse today was Judges 5:3. The verse for next week is Judges 6:16 “But I will be with you,” the Lord said to him. “You will strike Midian down as if it were one man.” Practice this verse with your child throughout the week so they can earn a Disciple Dollar next Sunday for memorizing the verse. Their connection passage today was Judges chapters 4-5. They learned God led Deborah and Barak to help the Israelites defeat their enemies. Review questions from Judges 4:4-10,12-16 and the connection passages Judges 4-5: • Who did God lead to help the Israelites defeat their enemies? • What did God command Barak to do? • How did Deborah encourage Barak to obey God? • How can we trust God when he tells us to do something? • What are ways you can encourage others to obey God?
The children learned that Deborah was a prophetess and a judge in Israel. They also learned that she would sit under a palm tree and the Israelites would come to her for help. Below to the left is a simple and healthy snack you can make while you review the story of Deborah and Barak and will remind your child of what Deborah would do under the palm tree. To the right is a craft your child can make of Deborah. All you need is a toilet pa-per roll, scissors, glue, construction paper, and crayons.
The Disciple Dollar Store will be open EVERY week.

God loves me when I’m happy.
Bear Hug 16: God has given us eternal life,
and this life is in His Son. 1 John 5:11
Today in class the children learned what the Bible says about the Parable of the Lost Sheep. (Matthew 18:10-14) This week’s verse is “For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.” Matthew 18:11. Please, help your child memorize the verse and review the lesson by asking these questions: • Why do you think Jesus would talk to and eat with sinners? • How did God show His love for sinners? • Does God want anyone to be lost from Him? • How does Jesus save us from being lost? • What must we do to go to heaven?
The children will earn stickers and stamps this week for knowing the verse and the story.
Here is a fun activity you can do at home called Hide and Find. Hide
some toys, and use a flashlight to look for them. Talk about how God
knew right where those toys were and how He always know where we are
at all times.
