“Sainokami” is a traditional event that takes

place at the beginning of every year to pray for

good luck and good health. People burn New

Year’s ornaments and offerings to the gods, and

then roast mochi(rice cakes) and dried squid over

the fire to eat. Please bring food for offerings.

The theme ingredient is “Aizu jidori (free range

locally raised chicken).”

“YODARE-DORI” (Mouthwatering Chicken)

The Aizu jidori dish at Taiwan Kitchen

Aizu Ultra, an authentic Taiwanese cuisine restaurant, is the Taiwanese dish ”yodare-

dori,” chicken that is so delicious it makes

your mouth water. It’s a dish with a boiled Aizu jidori chicken thighs with a sauce

made from a blend of more than a dozen

spices poured over it.The harmony of the crisp, crunchy bean sprouts and cucumbers

with the juicy chicken thigh is exceptional.

Take a huge bite of it with the cilantro garnish, and your mouth will be filled with

refreshing flavors.

“I wanted to have people eat Aizu jidori in a way it hasn’t been prepared before, so

I chose ‘yodare-dori’,” said Vegetable

Sommelier Pro Ogumi Ritsu, who planned the menu. “It also incorporates a lot of

vegetables so it’s healthy. Please come try

according to revised traffic laws. Refrain from

doing these things and endeavor to drive safely.
