Invitation to PrayerBefore we go our separate ways, let us take leave of our sister. May our farewell express our affection for her may it ease our sadness and strengthen our hope. One day we shall joyfully greet her again when the love of Christ, which conquers all things, destroys even death itself.

Jane Farris Morvant, 65, of Fannett, Texas, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at her home surrounded by family.

Jane was born on June 1, 1954, in Corpus Christi to Albert and Alice Farris. She attended Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur and graduated in 1973. She married the love of her life, John Kenneth Morvant on November 21, 1975. They raised three daughters. Jane was a devoted wife, mother, and friend.

She enjoyed shopping, trips to the casino, vacations with family and friends, spending time with her grandkids, and sharing all the adventures of life with Kenny.

Survivors include her loving husband, John Kenneth Morvant; daughters, Kerri Ann Morvant of Fannett; Jennifer Kay Vincent and her husband, Wade, of LaBelle; and Kimberly Morvant Fregia of Crosby; grandchildren, Cheyenne Russell, Nathan Vincent, Jason Vincent, Natalie Vincent, Jessica Russell, Kylie McSpadden, and Erika Fregia.
