Upcoming Matches: At JWJ Feb. 23rd against LaVilla, JWJ against Landon March 2nd at Kirby-Smith. The playoffs for the city championship will be played here at JWJ March 30th. Wins will lead us to the playoffs.
The Black History Month Club is presenting a month filled with activities and events that will stimulate and inform our Trojan Family. Come out and celebrate with us! February 17TH: Bank of America Career EXPO’ 3:30 – 4:30 in the S.R.C February 20TH: Deadline for poster contest submissions *All entries must be turned into Ms. Lawrence in Bld. 11 or dropped off in front office February 24TH and 26TH: BLACK HISTORY JEOPARDY (during lunch periods in the cafeteria) February 25th: Black History Festival (In the courtyard from 10:20-12:25) February 27th: Black History Program (In the Paxon High school Auditorium 6:30PM - 7:30PM)

North.

Atlantic Coast High School will be offering the AP Capstone courses in 10th and 11th grades, beginning next year with the Seminar course for 10th grade students. The most important piece is actually receiving an additional diploma from CollegeBoard if all requirements are met, much like the IB Diploma. Please see the attached brochure for more information. This is being shared with parents as this is a new opportunity and choice for our rising high school students.

PRACTICE TESTING REMINDER
Testing is on the horizon. The Florida State Assessment training site is open. To
access, using any web browser and follow the steps below:
1. Student’s login.
2. Open browser.
3. Students type in: fsassessments.org.
4. CLICK take the computer based training test.
5. Students will sign in as a guest. CLICK YES
6. Students must select grade. CLICK YES
7. Students can select any test to practice (math/reading/writing)
8. CLICK start test.
Please encourage your child to take the practice assessments!
THE FITNESS FEST IS A TREMENDOUS OPPORTUNITY FOR OUR STUDENTS TO GET PROFESSIONAL TRAINING. THE STUDENTS NEED TO MAKE SURE THEY GO TO THE WEB ADDRESS WITHIN FLYER AND REGISTER SO THEY ASSURED
