The Annual Graduation Day function of Jamal Mohamed College (Post

Graduate Courses - Men), Tiruchirappalli was held on 12.12.2018

(Wednesday). Dr. S. Ismail Mohideen, the Principal delivered the welcome

address. Shri. Banwarilal Purohit, Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu, graced the

occasion as chief guest and distributed degrees to the graduates. Totally 282

graduates, were conferred with degrees. Shri. Banwarilal Purohit, in the

Graduation Day Address, praised our college founders Haji. Janab. M. Jamal

Mohamed Sahib and Janab. N.M. Khajamian Rawther for their noble, selfless

service to the college and society and advised the new graduates to follow the

footsteps of our Noble founders and insisted on that, the graduates along with

their academics should also develop communication and vocational skills and

practical common sense to shine in their preferred professions. He also added

that students are the architects of our nation and they have to boldly design a

corruption free India to compete with the developed nations. Further, he

emphasized that the graduates should possess qualities of simplicity and honesty

and follow the ideals of our former president Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, to face
