It’s a Man’s World. Un Uomo del Mondo.

After observing the inhabitants of Prato, Italy a conclu-sion was made that the local men contain an element of machismo. They have an overt sense of bravado, ego and masculinity. They socialise in packs and congregate in public areas, staring at women while they walk past.While this is a cultural characteristic, it is quite hard to get used to. In this culture women are expected to perform typical housewife roles and are reminded to not be overly ambitious — they should marry an average man, take up the household chores, bear his children, take care of his parents and find an average job to help with the family budget. Many Italian women feel that men — or at least some men — look at them as if they are interchangeable goods, to be disposed of at their will.Women judged more for their appearance than for their intellectual capacity.Dopo aver osservato gli abitanti di Prato, l’Italia è stata fatta una conclusione che gli uomini locali contengono un elemento di machismo. Hanno un senso evidente di spavalderia, l’ego e la mascolinità. Essi socializ-zare in confezioni e si riuniscono nelle aree pubbliche, fissando le donne mentre camminano past. Questa è una caratteristica culturale, è molto difficile abituarsi. In questa cultura le donne sono tenuti a svolgere ruoli tipica casalinga e sono ricordato di non essere troppo ambiziosi si dovrebbe sposare un uomo medio, prendere le faccende di casa, portare i suoi figli, prendersi cura dei suoi genitori e di trovare un lavoro medio di aiutare con la famiglia bilancio. Molte donne italiane sentono che gli uomini - o almeno alcuni uomini - li guardo come se fossero beni intercambiabili, da smaltire a loro will. Le Donne giudicato più per l’aspetto che per la loro capacità intellettuale.
