How to Force An Item On occasion the stores POS system will not h ave the correct item information this could be that the missed transmission or the store created the item on their own etc. When an item force is done we send the entire product record down to the stores or store. The data will then update the product record in the POS product management system.  The changes may o r may not need to be batched. Please see change types below: No Batch is created for: Cost changes Subcat changes Levy & Deposit  Tax changes  The following changes may affect the label so they will be placed in a batch for the store to close and print the new label with the updated information. How to Force An Item

No Batch is created for:

• Levy & Deposit

1. Log on to FMSAS400 and select

2. Your curser will be on press “Enter”

4. You will then see the T screen press enter on“File”.

6. You will then see the screen. Key in theUPC or use the copy feature to copy the UPC from email & press“Enter”

If More than one item is being forced after the first item do notmark press “F12” and replace the “R” with an “A” (for add) andadd next item then press “F12” and add next item till you aredone then press “Enter” to mark for transmission.

7. If the UPC is correct you will then see thescreen. Press “Enter” to mark the item for transmission – item is

mark when arrows appear on left hand side.

8. Press the “F12” key to exit the Mark an Item Screen.

9. You will then see

Press “Enter”

10. You will then see the menu below select

11. You will then see type “1” for iteminformation and then type today’s Date and press “Enter”

13. Press F12 to exit out to the main Transmission screen menuand press “Enter”

14. You will then see the File Menu. Type “1” for Open Activities.

15. You see the “Open Activities” screen press “shift” and F8 atthe same time.

16. You will then see the “Batch Activities” screen. Type in thename of the force Example “Webber Twin Pack Force” and press“Enter”

17. You will then see the “Transmission Batch Summary” screenpress “Enter” to mark the batch.

18. Click on “Edit” press “Enter” and select “Review and Approve”by typing “1”

19. You will then see the “Batch Review/Approval” screen. Press“Enter”

20. You will then see the “Review/Approve A Batch” screen press

“Shift” and “F1” keys at the same time to select (F13 Yes)

21. You will then see the “Batch Transmission” screen type intodays date or the item force date and type “Y” for Immediate.

Tab down to “Include/Exclude” and type “E” the press “Enter”. (If transmitting to a specific store type “Y”under “Some Stores”

22. You will then see “Division Selection Code” screen type “11”for Pharma Plus division and press “Enter”

23. You will then see the “Stores” screen Press “Enter” totransmit to all Pharma Plus stores

24. You will then see the “Batch Transmission” screen withnumber of Pharma Plus stores transmitted. Press “Enter”.

26. Type in the Rexall division # “22” and press “Enter”

28. You will then see the “Review/Approve A Batch” screen press“Shift” and “F1” keys at the same time to select (F13 Yes)
