BY-LAW REQUIREMENT:

1. Processing, packaging and retail sale of meat accessory to an eating establishment is not permitted.

2. A minimum of 2 additional parking spaces are required for the proposed retail sales use.

Official Plan:

The subject lands are designated “General Employment” by the City of Vaughan Official Plan 2010 (VOP 2010), which was approved, in part, by the Ontario Municipal Board on February 3, 2014. The proposal conforms to the Official Plan.

Comments:

The Planning Department is of the opinion that the proposal is minor in nature, meets the intent of the Zoning By-law, and is desirable for the appropriate development of the land.

Recommendation:

The Planning Department supports Minor Variance Application File A235/14.

Comments: Transportation Planning Division staff are requesting a reliance

letter be provided by the Owner stating parking will not be an issue due to the proposal at hand. The letter should mention existing parking stats, such as total number of on-site spaces and peak occupancy. Alternatively, a Transportation Engineering consultant may be hired to provide this letter. The Development/Transportation Engineering Department has no further comments or objection to Minor Variance Application A235/14 with the following condition:

Condition(s):

1. The Owner shall provide a reliance letter stating the on-site parking can be accommodated by the proposed use(s).
