Meet & greet at the Airport – transfer to your accommodations in Rome

Today we will do a walking tour visiting all the classic monuments of Rome. Crossing Piazza della Repubblica with the Fountain of the Nayads, our local guide will take you on a pleasant stroll through the historical center, where you can admire the Trevi Fountain, La Colonna di Marco Aurelio, the Palazzo di Montecitorio, designed by Bernini, the Pantheon (visit inside), Palazzo Madama (seat of the senate), and Piazza Navona. Overnight stay in Rome. B, L

Depart for our Morning Tours of Ancient Rome with a visit to the Rome Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill tour. Immerse yourselves into Roman history and discover with an expert guide the “Anfiteatro Flavio”, the Colosseum: the largest amphitheater not only in the Eternal City, but in the world! On this tour, we will walk on the original path of ancient Rome along the Via Sacra and see the Temples of Vesta, Antonino and Faustina, the ancient Basilica Julia and Aemilia and dream about the glorious past of the Roman Empire. After our morning tour of Ancient Rome, we will continue to Terme Del Colosseo Restaurant where you will have a lunch In the afternoon, take a tour of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Admire the Gallery of Tapestries and the Geographical Maps before arriving at the famous Sistine Chapel, and the unforgettable St Peter’s Basilica!

Day 3: Rome / Vatican City

Day 4: Florence / Pisa Today we will enjoy all that Florence has to offer with a walking tour highlighting the city at the focal point of the Renaissance. This is a tour is also where you can enjoy your free time walking along the characteristic streets and dedicate a day discovering the historical center of and its hills where you can visit the Etruscan town of Fiesole and De Medici Villas.

Starting from Michelangelo’s Square for the best view of the town, leading you to the historical path to enjoy a nice walk, admiring Ponte Vecchio bridge and the streets of the old center, possibly a visit of the religious center composed by the Giotto’s bell tower, the Baptistery and its famous Gate of Paradise, the Cathedral and its majestic Cupola of Brunelleschi including visit of the Accademia for the famous Statue of David.

Enroute back to our hotel in the countryside of Florence, we will make a brief stop to the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa for photo opportunities. Overnight stay in San Minitato. B, D

Day 5: Tuscany Today we will embark to the famous Chianti area, the land of one of the best wines in the world of Chianti Classico. Here, along the "Chiantigiana", the famous wine route, the hills of vineyards and olive groves are perfect hosts of the trip today.

We will head to a family managed farmhouse/winery for a guided tour of its cellars followed by an authentic Italian cooking class, introducing you to the most antique and traditional Tuscan recipes! Lunch will consist of our creations, accompanied by excellent Chianti Classico wines.

After lunch, we will proceed in the direction of San Gimignano, a town "unique" in the world. Here visit a local winery for a superb wine tasting of Vernaccia, a unique white wine in this area known just for its reds Overnight stay in San Minitato. B, L, D

Day 2: Arrival Rome, Italy

Day 6: Tuscany Morning departure takes us to Montepulciano, a former Roman Settlement risen on “Mons Politianus”. Its appearance presents not just the Middle Ages, but also the Renaissance, as we see from numerous churches and palaces built by Antonio da Sangallo and by Michelozzo.

Enjoy free time to visit the historical center and enjoy a fantastic wine tasting of the famous Vino Nobile di Montepulciano in a local winery. Then proceed to Pienza, famous for its Pecorino cheese, but considered the first renaissance town in Europe, a model of architecture for Florence, & Paris. Enjoy a tasty lunch of pecorino cheese and local products.

After lunch, depart to Montalcino. Stop at a producer of Brunello wine, where you can enjoy the world-famous wines and working methods., followed by free time to visit the fourteenth-century fortress and discover the "secrets" of the village and some of the most beautiful scenery that this land can offer.

Day 7: Tuscany

Early breakfast at the hotel and depart to Venice. On arrival, go to the artificial island of Tronchetto where the coach will stop and you will meet with the assistant that will help to transfer you to Venice island. Go through the Rialto Bridge to arrive at the St. Mark’s Square. Guided tour of the historic center of Venice through the St. Mark’s Basilica, the Bell Tower, the Ducal Palace and the Bridge of Sighs . After the walking tour you will have the chance of a gondola ride tour ( 30 minutes ) before continue to the hotel where you will have the rest of the evening at your leisure . Overnight stay in Venice. B

Day 8: Venice

Departure for a morning dedicated to Truffle Hunting with expert Truffle-Gatherers of the San Miniato hills and their inseparable dogs. It’s the opportunity to discover this "treasure" hidden in the woods of San Miniato and learn the methods of discovering truffles.

Enjoy a wonderful lunch of local food based on truffle ingredients in a real truffle factory, where it’s possible to understand better why this incredible product of the Earth is called "White Gold". This afternoon we will continue to Vinci, land of the Genius, Leonardo Da Vinci, where we have a pleasant visit in a famous manufacturer of extra virgin olive oil where we can see the methods of processing high quality oil and taste the oil with small samples of oil-based local production.

Day 9: Venice - Departure Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport.
