Team sponsorship is a package for winter and summer season

(approximately 12 Months) and a team consists of between 8 and 9

players

Sponsorship consists of:

Naming rights of a team (from sub-primary to A Grade Seniors) with your Company Name or Logo with contact phone number printed on the back of warm up tops;

Your Company Name in Our Tango Topics newsletter, website, brochures and other advertising material;

A framed photo of your team;

HISTORY TANGO: TAKING NETBALL TO THE COMMUNITY

Tango Netball Club’s first team was formed in 1946 (known

as SA Women’s basketball) and was in the ‘B’ Grade

competition

First year in ‘A’ Grade was 1947

First premiership was won in 1951

Two teams entered in the SANA competition

Located at Port Rd, Woodville

Due to rapid growth, Tango relocated to Alberton

Moved back to Woodville and bigger premises

Following continued growth, Tango moved to Renown Park

In 1992/3 Delfin Realty expressed interest and subsequently sponsored

Tango Netball Club and developed new sub-division of Golden Grove,

citing the surrounding areas were growing rapidly with young families

In recognition of Tango’s commitment to the SA netball community,

Delfin Realty gave the club the use of netball courts and a club room at

Wynn Vale Drive, Golden Grove

Re-located to Golden Grove in 1993 and amalgamated with Golden

Grove Firebirds

THE TANGO NETBALL CLUB CONTRIBUTES TO THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE NORTH-

EASTERN SUBURBS OF ADELAIDE. THIS EDUCATION IS BASED ON GOOD SPORTING VALUES, SKILL

Whilst the club is incorporated as the Tango Netball Club it will be registered as ‘your

Company Name Tango’ or ‘Tango your Company Name’. This provides enormous

exposure for your name not just within our Club but also in the media and throughout

the broader netball community.

Our Naming Rights Partner will have their name as part of our Club logo and will be

prominently displayed on the player’s jackets and warm up tops.
