Principal’s Corner Dear Fisher Parents, In recognition of Staff Appreciation week, I would like to acknowledge the phenomenal staff at Fisher for their extraordinary efforts on behalf of our kids. It is such a pleasure to work with this team and witness first hand their dedication and expertise. Thurgood Marshall stated it best when he said, “None of us got where we are solely by pulling ourselves up by our bootstraps. We got here because somebody bent down and helped us pick up our boots.” Thank you to each and every Fisher staff member, for being that someone for so many. I hope you will plan to join us this Thursday, May 4 for our Fisher Family Fest and Open House wherein you will get to see the work of our highly skilled staff reflected in your child’s classroom activities and accomplishments. This outdoor event will be located at 983 University Ave, Los Gatos. Tickets are $65, pre-event only and will not be available at the gate. This event usually sells out. The prestigious list of Wineries and Restaurants who will be pouring and serving samples of their incredible creations includes:

We’ll have sweet treats from Chocolate Dream Box and Nothing Bundt Cakes and coffee service by Los Gatos Coffee Roasting. Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and Strike Brewing Co. will also have a few brew options available.

The evening will also include:  • Live Music by Chrome Deluxe! • Raffle of fun items • Silent Auction of unique items, and • A Live auction of a few select one-of-a-kind items

Complimentary limousine service home will be provided by Corinthian Ground Transportation and our Guest Emcee will once again be Tim Jeffreys of 98.5 KFOX radio.

A BIG THANKS to our Platinum Sponsor, Kirkorian Enterprises, L.L.C!

Most of the funds raised at Date Night come from our raffle and silent/live auctions. Without the help of many contributors, our fundraising efforts would fall far short of our goal. We appreciate anything you can do to help us in this effort. If you wish to contribute an item to our raffle, live/silent auctions please contact Nancy Musselman at [email protected]. In return, you will receive a Donation Acknowledgement with our 501(c) 3 tax ID information.

For more information on Date Night please visit our Los Gatos Lions Club webpage or like us on Facebook. Date Night always sells out so please purchase your tickets today or flag this article for prompt follow-up.
