IASAS Cultural Conventions 2011 Next week, March 3rd, our Cultural Convention delegations departfor Kuala Lumpur (Dance, Drama, Debate and Forensics) and Ja-karta (Art and Music). We wish all delegates the best of luck andhope that the hard work in the lead up to the Convention will bereflected in the big performances required next week. Informa-tion about the Cultural Convention events can be obtained via theIASAS website next week as results for the debate and forensics

competition will be posted regularly by the host schools.www.iasas.asia

ISM GOODWILL GYMNASTICS MEET – SATURDAY, MARCH 5TH, MSGYM ISM will host our annual gymnastics meet on March 5th. This is ahuge event for our gymnastics team  and this year we have recordnumbers of entries with 300+ gymnasts coming to twirl/tumbleand flip their way through routines on Floor, Beam, Bars and Vaultfrom level 1 to 6 competition. This is a great event for our schoolto host and our gymnastics coaches led by Coach Ramon along

with the Gymnastics parents volunteers have been very busy coor-dinating many details for this event.

Please come along to the MS Gym on Saturday, March 5 to supportour Bearcat Gymnastics Team and to watch the event. Food anddrinks are available and it is a great day to watch some excellentgymnastics here in Manila.

Schedule is as follows: 7:00 A.M. - 8:00 A.M. General Warm-up8:30 A.M. - 10:30 A.M. WAG Level 1 competition11:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M.   WAG Level 2 competition12:30 P.M. - 1:00 P.M.   Warm -up for Level 3, 4, 5 and

Awards will take place in the Little Theatre right after each sec-tion of the competition.

ISM INTERNATIONAL SWIM MEETLast weekend ISM Sailfish Swim team hosted the first internationalswim meet at our school pool with teams from Shanghai, Thai-land, Jakarta and Singapore joining local teams from BritishSchool Manila, Brent and Assumption College for a meet held Sat-urday and Sunday morning. Over 240 swimmers raced and withfantastic weather and superb organization by Coach Andy and histeam of Sailfish Parent volunteers the meet was a big success.Thanks also to sponsors Fitness First, SM Supermarkets,
